I’ve ordered my Aaron variety caladiums (10+ flats) with NH every single year since experimenting with other cheaper suppliers. I doubt I will switch. Even though they are more expensive at the front end I have never been disappointed in the quality and extraordinary results of their plants that are, well, Hardie and healthy! We are not rich and live quite aways away, but their stuff is worth it. Also, their gift shop has some of the most unusual varieties of plants I’ve ever seen. Miss Leigh here seems to have a problem with people who have been successful in their lives as she managed to comment about it twice in one paragraph. Me and my country bumpkin friends visit when we can and have always had a pleasant experience. Of course, we smile a lot anyway.

Meh. In a town full of rich people «nurseries» where you can buy a fern and a $ 50 candle at the same time, you can’t be snooty. Maybe there are «finds» here but all I saw was way overpriced shiz that even _​I_​couldn’t care less about. And lots of workers fawning over rich looking women on a Tuesday afternoon and asking me to get out of the way while they moved merch around.
And the parking fuckin’ sucks. Don’t go. Head to Jackson’s instead.

Good selection of roses and attitude. Maybe I hit the store on a bad day, but 3 of 4 employees were rude and not even close to helpful. It will be a long time before I give them another shot because Dallas has Northhaven Gardens (better selection… much better).

This Nicholson-​Hardie (there are two) features outdoor plants, pots and pre-​made fountains. If you want to grow it in north Texas, they have it. The outside is kind of «meh», but it’s deceptively larger within. Their prices are a touch higher than the home improvement stores, because you get two things here: knowledge & service.
Go ahead… ask them a plant question. You’ll get the right answer. Or just tell them what kind of sun/​water/​soil/​maintenance you have and they give you great recommendations. And you may not find what you are lookng for, only because it’s packed in there tight with a few thousand other plants. Ask. They’ll lead you to it.
Personally, I like to spend a and hour+ wandering through every nook and cranny of this place. It’s more funner :)
