When I was looking for a moving company to move me cross country, I selected Norco, a Mayflower agent, because they were the only moving company I found that had no complaints with the BBB. There weren’t a lot of reviews of them on line, but the ones that I found were all good. After using Norco, I see why they have no complaints and only good reviews. They felt like a boutique moving company rather than an agent of a large, national mover. The service was excellent, from my initial meeting with the estimator Robert to the end of my move. Robert went out of his way to find an economically feasible way for me to move with a date certain for delivery, which isn’t easy with a small load. He even offered and provided used moving boxes, free of charge. The moving crew that picked me up were equally as good — courteous, efficient and very careful with my belongings. I’ve moved a lot, and every other time I’ve moved, the movers have rushed things in and out so fast I couldn’t keep up with what they were doing. In contrast, the Norco crew was very gentle and moved at an efficient pace, but not so fast that I couldn’t keep up. They were gentle with my delicate furniture and took the time to listen to special handling instructions. In summary, I had a hassle-free, easy move thanks to the great customer service from Norco. Moving is one service where the axiom that you get what you pay for is true. While Norco wasn’t the cheapest option, they were reasonably priced, and worth every penny.

I had a very short corporate move. The guys in charge of it were professional and timely, but the positive part ends there. First they were VERYHIGHPRICED, and I believe the 2 guys who packed and moved me actually stole things from me. I had all my things in a small storage unit so it should have been an easy move, 55 miles away. They were about 6 hours late. Then, after getting everyting off tghe truck at 10pm I noticed 1 particular thing missing. He claims he never saw it(yet it was in my storage unit 24 hrs earlier!). There were boxes not accounted for at the end, yet they claimed they brought them in already. Who was I to argue? A few days later, after completely unpacking, I noticed several things missing. Now, things just dont disappear in thin air and my gut says these guys helped themselves to my things that were not sealed in boxes. When I filed a claim with the complany,(total less than $ 400) the owner denied my claim. I felt completely ripped off by this company.

They are a vendor of choice for my employer so I used them to coordinate a cross country move. They were great(Steve and Don) got me on a truck and set everything up. The truck driver, Greg, was great and east to work with. The move went very smooth. No hesitation giving them 5 stars. Moving sucks but they made it easy as it could be. Thanks.

This is a great company. Robert was amazing and so professional. They checked in with me daily during my 3 day move of packing/loading and unloading. i had gotten an estimate from another company, highly rated on Unilocal, but couldn’t even get them to call me back or email me after they’d already come to my house! Robert was wonderful even giving me tips of what to look for in other moving companies; i received a complete«moving guide» with what to do 1 month before/3 weeks etc. I think Robert could have run IBM he was that professional. All the workers were delightful, funny, careful and professional. Who knew a move could be so pleasant?
