North Oak Cliff Beer & Wine

Awesome selection and very sweet and helpful employee! I was visiting from out of town and the guy who worked there was so nice and even gave me tips on things to do while I was there!

These guys have a nice beer selection, the punctuality of opening is not a priority though. I’ve been twice and both times they weren’t open as the hours are posted to be.
Inconvenient for sure.
I support local business but you have to make it customer friendly geez.

This place is a north OakCliff gem! Are you tired of going to places to buy wine and the people know nothing about wine? Me too. That is the opposite of what you get here. The owners are a pair of brothers that are just cool and very knowledgable about wine, beer or any type of spirits. And they are so friendly and determined to help you. The customer service is an Aplus here. I can’t say enough wonderful thing about this store. Check it out.

Ok… thanks to Martha there for the «Did I mention they deliver» cause I picked up the phone right away! I spoke to the nice guy on the phone and ordered some goodies. My only issue was that he forgot part of my order. He didn’t charge me for it, but damn I really wanted it. I’ll be sure to order up again and see if we can hit that 5 stars ;)

Upon first glance, North Oak Cliff Beer & Wine to offer much class and character, being located next to Urban Acres. I was let down, with the wine selection being limited, the beer being extremely overpriced, and the overall lack of inviting individuals running the joint.
Specifically, I asked how much a couple of beers were and was received with pretty short answers. Then, I did not so much as get a «good bye» upon leaving, though being the only customer in the establishment.
The brews are more unique than your typical liquor store, but the pricing is still more steep than I would like. I hail from the Austin beer scene, so it is nice seeing some HIll Country and Central Texas favorites – Jester King and Adelbert’s. They also emphasize Clown Shoes.
I was not very cared for here, but I might come back if I find my way in the OC and need a way of obtaining some microbrew to satiate my booze appetite.

I am so happy to have this friendly, well-​stocked beer store in my neighborhood. It’s a pretty small space, but the guys who own this have done an incredible job at stocking it with high-​quality, harder-​to-​find craft beer & wine.
They’ve been having beer tastings every other Saturday or so – it’s a great chance to get to know them, their beers and others from the neighborhood. Last Saturday they also had a cupcake sampler. I mean really, these guys are the best.

Great store! The family that runs this shop is friendly and helpful. They stock interesting wines and are happy to steer you to affordable bottles that taste great. This has quickly become my go to stop for all wine. From what I can tell, the beer selection is also nice. I highly recommend this neighborhood shop.

A family owned shop two brothers and dad. I have to say I was impressed with the product knowledge and the selection of beer did not venture in to the wine section. Very clean well organized
