This place came highly recommended, and I see why. I walked right in without appointment and was immediately assisted by Jay, who did a great job and for a great price. I’m sure the other barbers are just as good, too. Good atmosphere, good tunes, good vibes, it actually made getting a haircut fun. I’ll be back in a couple weeks…

Well, I can’t rightfully give it 5 stars when this is the only barber in town I’ve tried… yes, I’m a woman. How astute of you to notice… My hairdresser threw a fit and told me to find a new place. Now you can imagine what a pricey woman’s haircut can cost and i thought «what the hell, how bad can it be» since I get most of it chopped off anyway.
I had a few drinks first (liquid courage) then went in and caught the last guy standing. He didn’t mock me and did his best to match up with the pic I showed him. I have 3 calics and their a pain in the ass. He managed to do a damn good job and the prices are dirt cheap compared to a «stylist»… now I’m not saying this is for every (woman)… cause I go super short…
I’ll have to give him some props for offering me some «after shave» when he was done… lol, he made me laugh… no dude, I like my hair short and my men manly… and they don’t like me with aftershave ;)

I’m shocked I am the first reviewer of Oak Cliff Barbers on the intersection of W Davis and Edgefield. I’ve been coming here for almost 3 years; ever since we moved to Oak Cliff and I have to say these guys are some of the best barbers in the city. The entire crew are like brothers and very close knit. You are guaranteed a great cut and a comedy show on any given day by the staff or the regular customers. My usual guys are Matt and Jose but Jojo and the rest of the crew will give you a solid cut as well. Prices are comparable to a «vanilla» franchise style Supercuts but you won’t find this kind of service at those places, particularly in the way the guys at Oak Cliff Barbers do the taper on the neckline. I won’t trust another barber in town after coming here. These guys are seriously great!
