Judy is still amazing and does a wonderful job. She is appointment only and a tad bit more expensive, but the quality, atmosphere and Ms. Judy are incomparable, professional, and beautiful. Please give her a try. You’ll be hooked!

I went here in August while I was back home. Judy is so incredibly nice and my mani and pedi were superb. Her office is tiny but cozy and she is very hospitable, offering tea, coffee and water. Sometimes my shellac (from other places) will chip in a week, but my nails from Judy looked flawless for weeks and I was so happy:)

it’s true — Judy is the bee’s knees! i’ll preface my review by mentioning that i’m a 30-​something compulsive nail-​biter. yeah it’s gross and terrible… but can’t help it!
recently my two-​year (TWO! YEARS! OLD!) picked up the nasty habit and i decided enough was enough. it was time to be an adult and stop for good. somehow i managed to go about a month so i had a little length and thought: what better incentive to stop the biting than pretty hands and nails?
i located Judy through her great Unilocal and Genbook reviews and decided to give this manicure thing a go. first off, using Genbook made scheduling with her crazy easy. she’s located in a very nice building with individual salon suites; she has her own suite and set-​up. it’s private and very tranquil — not rows of chairs of gossiping women and nail techs. just you, sweet Judy and soothing music.
Judy has such a relaxed and kind personality — she’s and easy to talk with and didn’t make me feel a stitch insecure about the scary nails i brought to her. she took her time, was super gentle and gave my hands some much-​needed TLC. i left feeling pretty amazing both about my pretty nails and my overall experience with Judy. seriously, people, she’s awesomesauce.

I initially went here because I found a great LivingSocial deal, but I will definitely be going back and telling everyone I know to go to her too. The building it’s located in is a big, really nice venue where a variety of beauticians have their own suite. Judy’s is small and cozy and very well decorated. It’s not the cheesy feel you typically get at a nail salon. It’s warm and sophisticated. Judy is sweet as can be and makes you feel comfortable. She’ll take good care of you for sure! I can’t wait to go back. This will likely be the only nail salon i ever go back to. It felt luxurious.

I went to Judy Avilez because I had a LivingSocial voucher, but I will return because Judy is skilled, professional, and kind. I loved her space — it was small, clean, cozy, peaceful. She gave me the best shellac manicure I have ever had, and it was an enjoyable and relaxing experience.

Great manicure experience here! Judy’s is a single cosmetologist shop with a ton of choices for manis and pedis. I liked the ease of booking an appointment online just before I went over. I got a confirmation email and Judy was expecting me when I arrived. She was running just a little bit behind but I only had to wait about 5 minutes, but she was professional about it and she did a beautiful job on my manicure. I opted for the shellac french mani, but she suggested some other long-​wear options that actually cost less and I think I’ll try them next time to compare. She has good offers for deals and discounts as well and is happy to tell you about them in a no-​pressure way. Most importantly, her establishment and tools are very clean and she opened new files, etc for my mani which I so appreciate. My manicure looks beautiful and is holding up well even after 3 weeks of packing and moving to a new home. I’ll be going back for sure. I really like Judy!

Judy is FABULOUS! I got a shellac manicure and I love it. Judy is so warm and gracious, and her attention to detail is unbelievable. Great location in the Salons of Dallas at Knox/​75 with plenty of free parking. The space is clean, quiet and very comfortable. I’ve already booked my next appointment!

Well it’s becoming spring time, which means my toes will be peeking out more often to see the sun, so… Pedi’s are in order!
I booked a lunch appointment with Judy by a referral. Lunch pedi’s are great because I get to enjoy a true break with luxury.
Judy is located in the Salons of Dallas by Knox, it is super close to work so was very convenient. It was easy to find and the parking was plenty. The whole building is comfortable and has a spa feel but not all the spa chatter. Judy’s space is perfect. I felt like I was at a home away from home. The giant sofa chair was so comfortable and really added to the luxury of getting some ‘me’ time. The whole space just felt cozy and perfect. And Judy is such a doll, so sweet and pleasant to be with. I couldn’t tell that there were so many other salon options around us either, it was like I was in my own private session.
We went with a bright pretty spring teal color, which I love. The polish was dry and ready in 5 minutes! Awesome for putting my shoes back on and getting back to work on time :)

I’ve been a client of Judy’s for years too, following her from The Riviera to Muse and now to The Salons of Dallas. What not to like about having the best mani/​pedi personal service in town and now in this beautiful, tranquil, personal space! Easy location, lots of parking too. LOVE!

I have been going to Judy for over 10 years, and have followed her from Riveria Spa to Muse Salons, and the one she has just moved into is the best yet! Her services have always been superb, but the location she is in now at The Salons of Dallas at Knox are very convenient and there is great parking. In addition, Judy’s room is beautiful. It is tranquil and relaxing, and private. It is wonderful to be able to get a manicure or a pedicure in a place that is so peaceful and calming. I hope Judy stays here a very long time!
