I’ve been getting Botox for about 2 years now and my dermatologist retired. This is the second I’ve tried out to see if they can«replace» him, however, they fell very flat. While the facilities are fine– clean and neat as you’d expect, they are nothing to write home about. It’s very clinically set up with lots of dated and scuffed machines shoved in the rooms you have the procedure in. They wouldn’t allow myself and my friend to go back together in the same room– as we have done at various other dermatologists. If I want to waive my right to that privacy, it should be my call if that’s what makes us both comfortable. They also brought in two people to go over the exact same information– both the Medical Aesthetician and a Gynecologist… odd. The last issue I had overall with the care is the fact that the Medical Aesthetician had no concern for MY concerns. She needled all over my forehead and temples although I told her about my problem area and where I always get the treatment. My friend who has a totally different problem area got needled all over her forehead and temples too. It’s as if the Medical Aesthetician only knew one map for Botox and didn’t know how to deal with isolated issues– contrary to the two other dermatologists we’ve both seen for the same issues. Suffice to say, I just think I’ll keep looking and pray our old dermatologist comes out of retirement.
