Went for my daughters birthday. One of the worst waitress and service I’ve ever had. No manager in site to tell how bad it was. I will not be returning.

Wish there was less than 1 star. Let’s start the valet works on texting. That is FANTASTIC! Found out that parking in the garage is validated but NOTVALET which is understandable but frustrating because it is a FARTHERWALKFROMTHEVALETTHANFROMTHEGARAGE. Once narrowed to pinot noir the least expensive was recommended. And it is great, Aquinas is the name. KEEPREADING. If you like mussels with a nice bowl of broth, do not order the white wine version. There is no broth some of the mussels actually tasted dry. They serve them with clarified butter but perhaps it is me when ordering mussels in a town that is 4 hours away from the ocean I want broth. Cold temp throughout dinner, drafty. They were out of the following: 1 «the cocktail menu was out of date» funny that the reception person was too busy texting to pull the cocktail menus out of the sleeve. Saying this because she was the entire time we ate dinner. 2. We are out of the beer you want… Even though it says it is on tap… 3. No bread was ever offered or brought to the table, my guess was they are out of it. 4. Bread with mussels 3 pieces of thick dry focaccia… Does not pair well. 5. Out of Pear & Almond Cake… We found this out 12 min after we ordered. 6. There was a tea candle in water that had burned thru WAYBEFOREWEARRIVED. quick tip TAKEITOFFTHETABLE… 7. There was a gnat flying around during dinner… Not to picky except for i tried to get his/her picture several tines and my flash scared it away. 8. Tired of writing, will never be back. So sad as I have fond memories of the Highland Park Village location… I heard that«the Landlord raised the prices!». But then I heard«the Landlord was frustrated with their quality… « You judge if you read this and eat there you are a brave brave person… By the way if you are out of some thing TAKEITOFFTHEMENUORTELLTHEWAITER!!! Good luck Patrizio…

For those looking for the Patrizzio’s Highland Park, look again. The service and atmosphere are far worse. I believe the service lacked due to the crowded tables and not enough staff perhaps due to cramped space. Our server did the best he could. The Bellini machine was broken and they weren’t sure when it would be fixed. As a result, it took quite a while for the server to grab mixed drinks from the bar and also get food out. The mixed drinks were expensive and weak. We had a reservation for a birthday celebration and they tried to sit us at a high top table at the bar in front of the door and within 3 feet of a huge TV over our table. We asked for a table in the actual restaurant and were told the main restaurant was for large parties only but we could have a table of we finished and left by 9. We were seated at 8:15 and our order wasn’t taken until 8:30 so this was impossible. At 8:50, the hostess asked if we were ok to go and we hadn’t received our entrée yet. We felt very rushed. We were within 5 feet of two large tables and the acoustics were so loud we couldn’t hear each other. The food was not the same as The old Patrizzio’s either. It did not taste fresh made. I order the same thing every time at Patrizzio’s and this time it came out totally different as if it had been pre-manufactured by frozen or a jar. This is though they caused the entrees we ordered from the menu the«Patrizzio’s Classics». Very sad because this used to be one of my favorite places in Dallas. It is incredibly loud and crowded with mediocre food and service now– not worth the increase in price. The pizza oven is nice for atmosphere, but not when it is an area being used as a service area with mops leaned up against the brick wall and the kitchen was behind the oven? Strange design. If you do go, here’s a tip for parking – use the garage and get a token. The line for the valet was blocking the traffic on the street causing traffic to build up and honk. The garage was wide open and free.

Horrible experience. The food was not good and the service was worse. After finishing our appetizers, we waited 45 minutes before getting our entrees(by that time, we were there 1 ½ hours). The manager came to the table 10 minutes before we received our entrees and asked, «how was your meal?». We told him that we still didn’t get it(can you say clueless?) and after that, we never saw the manager again. They didn’t have the fish on the menu, but told us that they had a wonderful branzino. Three of us ordered it, but we were all incredibly disappointed when it showed up — it may have been branzino, but it looked more like Mrs Gordons fish sticks. Note to restaurant: if you’re going to serve fried fish(or was it just breaded and horribly prepared?), tell the customers first — they usually order fish as a healthy alternative, and don’t expect a fried turd on a plate. I would have sent mine back, but after close to two hours, I just tried scraping off the breading and eating what was inside. We were celebrating a birthday, and were planning to have dessert with a candle. Instead we all decided to get out before it got any worse. Well, at least the appetizers were good.

Was pretty disappointed about this place. When we walked in the ambiance and the décor was really pretty but the food and drinks fell way to short. The waitress was nice– she tried really hard so ill give her some credit. The menu needs to be updated and everything seemed like they couldn’t alter, make it or don’t make it anymore even though its online as a item they made. People in my party were told they couldn’t order drinks of the main menu because the bar tender could no longer make them and the ones that he made as a substitute were not up to par at all– they were too sweet and syrupy and had to be sent back. The pasta dishes were mainly a miss. The eggplant ptarmigan was normal as any other restaurant so was a safe dish and those who picked this were lucky.

The service was extremely slow for no reason. The place wasn’t very crowded at all. My dish, Sicilian Salman, was delicious, but my friends didn’t like their tortellini or spaghetti and meatballs. I probably won’t be back…

Very disappointing. Food took over 45 minutes for simple dishes. When the food came out it looked like it had been under a heater for a while. Several server errors. This place is nothing like it used to be.

I made a reservation for my birthday dinner five days in advance and included in the memo that it was for a birthday. Upon arriving, my table wasn’t ready and they said they didn’t realize it was for a birthday. 35 minutes later, they set up 3 tables, one of which was a different size, in the bar area. The other tables around us had tablecloths and only ONE of our tables did, the rest did not. We had to ask for EVERYTHING: a wine list, water, our drinks from the bar MULTIPLE times, and even silverware. They had to come back to our table multiple times because they weren’t able to make what we ordered… from the menu… and even when we got what we ordered, we were ALL unhappy. Steaks were overdone, the most expensive item on the menu wasn’t even that good, my gnocchi tasted like it came from a can and one of the orders came out beef instead of chicken. It was a complete mess.

Simply put, this place is the worst from start to finish. The hostess seemed shocked we requested not to sit in the front of the restaurant when the door routinely blew cold air inside. There was no other table option for us, she said, though the restaurant was half empty. Our server didn’t seem to understand his job description– be nice and check on us a couple of times. When we said we didn’t want to drink on a Sunday night, he rolled his eyes at us and said«fabulous» in the most condescending way. We never saw him again. The hardest working person there was the poor busboy who brought us our food as soon as it was made. Too bad it tasted like fazolis on an off day. The quality of ingredients was abysmal. I can make better pasta out of a jar of trader joes sauce. The pizza had 2 inches of crust around the outside– very few actual ingredients. I can’t wait until this place shuts down. Maybe there will be a good restaurant that finally occupies that doomed space on McKinney Ave.

This place was AH-mazing! Service from the bar was a little behind but give them a break! They have serve the floor and bar so being a server before I completely understood but kept everything moving in motion. The hostess at the door was extremely helpful especially Roxanne(excuse me if I spelled that wrong) she was the best. Mentioned I was pregnant and gave me awesome tips what to eat. You hardly met hostess that are so on point and care. First time with me and my hubby but will be back! Thanks to management that kept checking on us too. Can’t wait to have more food on your menu food was great.

The whole experience was very«meh» and it was fairly pricey. Given the vibe(the booth seat was very sunken in and uncomfortable and they crammed two-tops close together), cleanliness(our tablecloth was very dirty from previous patrons), service(okay), and food(meh) all relative to other fancy mid-scale restaurant pricing, it gets a 2 star. We had been to the highland park village location but don’t recall this previous experience — that was also nearly 8 years ago.

Great vibe, food, atmosphere, drinks and service!!! Our table shared 4 appetizers and had a bottle of wine and some cocktails… then sat and laughed for a long while(without the usual push for table turn over from the staff) before ordering our entrees and desserts. TOPQUALITY from start to finish! Everything was served hot and tasted as grand as it looked. Thanks for a lovely meal… we WILL be back!!! also… super excited that they’re doing BRUNCH now!!! menu looks fabulous!

OH. MY. GOD. You guys! If you haven’t been to brunch at Patrizio, what are you doing with your life? We came here on a whim on a Saturday afternoon when we were hanging out in Uptown. The place was beautifully decorated. Black leather booths, gold accented chairs, huge Pre-Raphaelite paintings on the walls. An oldies Pandora station played Aretha Franklin and Frank Sinatra over the speakers. The bar area had a few TVs playing a football game, but we were seated in the main dining room and it felt very intimate. Throughout the meal our server, David, was outstanding. He was friendly, he joked around with us, he answered our questions, and he was very attentive. We started with the ginger lemonade, which was fresh and delicious! Just lemons, ginger and sugar, made right there at the bar. For our entrees, my boyfriend ordered the Patrizio Chicken Salad, and I ordered the Banana Nutella Oven-Baked French Toast. We got the breakfast potatoes to share. We agreed that the salad was quite good, full of crisp greens and delicious chicken and almonds, if a bit scant on promised artichokes and hearts of palm. The breakfast potatoes were yummy, served with roasted peppers and onions, a delight to enjoy. But the French Toast… the French Toast was unbelievable. No joke, it was THEBEST either of us has ever had. That fluffy, crispy brioche… caramelized bananas… warm chocolatey Nutella… sprinkled with powdered sugar and served with a side of real maple syrup? It was heavenly. So yeah. We’ll be back. Understatement of the year.

New Patrizios is terrible. We will never go back. Really tried to like the new one. Service is comparable to Applebee’s or Denny’s. Waitress Charrise says«awesome!» every time she comes to the table. Then she rushes you through dinner. And the place is less and less crowded, recently nearing on empty. I bet new Patrizios shuts down before Spring of 2016. #seeYa

Tonight they were on point. I’ve always felt the service didn’t match the caliber of food but tonight… Tonight we met Cherise(sorry hun if I got the spelling wrong) Cherise brought it! Professionalism that equaled the finely crafted food that keeps us coming back. Her knowledge of the menu paired with excellent service and warm friendly professionalism — perfect compliment to the perfect meal. Ryan the chef always recognizes and greets us. The food here is amazing. We have never had a bad meal or even a mediocre meal. They offer a brunch on the weekends I’m looking forward to trying soon. The cocktails are mixed perfectly and the music is always a win. Love the outdoor seating.

Negative from the start! We sat in the restaurant about 10 minutes being waited on great vibe awesome open door patio experience the food was super small and cold upon arrival and the sad thing was is that there was only 25 people in the restaurant that night. Overall I would say that our experience was very NEGATIVEANDPOOR! I would suggest to people to go to Del Frisco grill if you want good quality! Can’t believe how small the portions were and cold. Wow When we sent back our food for them the heat it up and make it a quality product. It took another 10 – 15 Min to get it back and it was…

McKinney Avenue location: Atmosphere: Mix of sophisticated & swanky. It was pretty loud so if you’re wanting an intimate dinner with quiet conversation, this isn’t the place for you. However, if you’re wanting an upbeat and fun spot, this would match your vibe. Food: I would say it is a good value for your money– while it is a bit on the pricier end, the portions are quite large so it evens out in the end. I ordered the stuffed peppers as an appetizer and split them with the group. Good flavor & were unique — something I probably wouldn’t have thought to make at home :). For my meal, I ordered the clams in marinara sauce. It was such a large portion that I could not finish them! They were so flavorful & delicious. Tasted fresh as well. Our table ordered a bottle of red wine — don’t remember which one, but it was perfect with our meal. I would recommend Patrizios to a large group wanting a fun evening out! Great spot to take out of town friends or parents.

I was not a particular fan of the Highland Park location. Oh, I thought the patio was cool and the look was old school, but the food was terrible. Enter the McKinney Avenue version. LOVEIT. The menu has been reworked with old items returning with a fresher taste, and plenty of new things to choose from. I am a fan of the Nero linguini. There must be 20 mussels on the plate, and it has a silky white wine sauce and a nest of squid ink pasta. Delicious. The stuffed pepper app is on target as is the pancetta wrapped asparagus. Service was on point. As mentioned here before, the Bellini machine was out of order. Fix the damned thing! We went with a sparkling wine then a red blend, and that worked for us. I will definitely be back. Park in the back garage and go through the gate. They will give you a coin to get out free. The valet is not theirs and actually run by the neighboring restaurant. That part is super refreshing. NOONEINDALLASLIKESVALET. There is also a free garage across the street.

I think the location may just be cursed — the original Highland Park spot was always great, but I don’t think I’ll be returning to the one on McKinney. Service was slow despite it being maybe 50% full at 8p on a Friday night. The food itself was more or less ‘meh’, as the pizzas we ordered seemed to be somewhat undercooked(crust was well charred but the cheese wasn’t fully melted and the crust toward the center of the pizza wasn’t crispy in the least bit)… Drinks were fine, but the prices for beer seemed to be $ 1 – 2 too high(and on this topic, the random cents that each menu item had was both confusing and irritating). Don’t know what it is about this location, as Barter and Private Social both seemed doomed as well. Ho hum.

If you are looking for a place with great service and delicious food you should stop by Patrizio on McKinney. They have a wonderful selection for lunch/dinner and, of course, fabulous cocktails. The wine menu still need some extra attention, some of the most tasteful wines were not there but they do have a good selection of wine available. Price, well, it doesn’t feel expensive. The servings are huge, the presentation is pretty good and the service is great. Overall ambience is comfortable and the lighting makes it cozy, perfect for a dinner party and perfect for a business lunch. If you don’t care for TVs in restaurants then I am with you, I don’t love all the TVs around but once you ignore them you won’t even notice. I love it, I can’t wait to go back!
