First, I didn’t know that Pei Wei was fast food Chinese(was expecting more of a sit down type venue). I saw the commercials on TV and it looked good, so I thought I’d give it a try. I ordered the Honey Seared Chicken and an egg roll. The egg roll was okay. When they brought my entrée it looked nothing like what I’d seen on TV. I was presented with a bowl of dry, white rice and, on the side, was 5 – 6 small pieces of chicken nearly devoid of sauce. It was disappointing and unsatisfying. I did send an email to Pei Wei and they sent me two $ 10 dining cards. Don’t know if we’ll go back that location.

This place has always treated me nicely and had my orders ready to go so quickly. Food is delicious and friendly, win win!

The chicken tasted really old and the lettuce cups were old as well. There was also not enough chicken. Very disappointed. I usually love pei Wei. I like the Knox location better.

I recently was diagnosed with Celiac’s Disease. This makes it much more difficult when going out to eat. Luckily for me Pei Wei has a GF menu. Not a lot of items on it, but the Vietnamese Salad Rolls and Pei Wei Spicy with chicken are delicious. My old favorites were Kung Pao Chicken and Thai Dynamite. But I guess I can learn to stay away from them as long as I have two new favorites that are gluten free…

Best asian food ever!!! Sometimes is a tad dirty, but not usually. The employees are affable and polite. Fast service and a nice location! :)

Standard Pei Wei. Good for fast, medium quality, Asian food. Our main reason for coming is that the kids love it.

Good location. Food is consistent. If you order to-go, always check your order. 50% of the time something is always missing.

The ‘to-go’ took forever. I even gave them a half hour to make it, and I still waited for 15 minutes.

Good, fast food. A little pricey for what it is but I have always been satisfied when I have gone there. Plus I can walk there from the house which is always a plus.

It’s amazing that Unilocal does help some people and some places thrive but what does saddens me is that I’ve been to this Pei Wei plenty of times and had a great experiences. What makes me mad is the people who have such a negative out look on life that there entire life revolves around negative comments. These people are not experts in being service industry and I can bet they have been negative to other people in other restaurants. Just shut up and eat else where. Get over your crappy life and stop being so angry on a freaking website! That’s just so passive aggressive!

Ordered takeout online from there tonight. Got it home and the sushi was warm because it had been packed in with the all of the hot items. This seems like such an obvious no no. My sons tofu was way overcooked and gross. I’ve tried this place 4 times because my husband likes it and every time I’m disappointed:/

We typically like Pei Wei, but today they must have been off their game today. We ordered take out of the Wasabi crunch roll and 2 orders of chicken fried rice. One made hot and spicy and the other just regular. None of the food had any flavor and the chicken had a «weird» taste. We each had approximately TWOBITES and THREWITALLINTHETRASH! It was so bad that I don’t know if we will ever go back.

It’s Pei Wei. It’s okay when you’re in the mood for something Asian/Wok style! I ordered the ginger-broccoli w/beef and requested it to be spicy… it wasn’t. There wasn’t too much broccoli and it was a wee bit undercooked… meaning too much crunch… like it was raw broccoli. The beef was tasty but not the most tender beef I’ve ever had. Oh yeah… not a hint of ginger in this dish. I also ordered the pot stickers. Honestly, don’t waste your time on these things. They’re small and not much filling in them… and deep fried beyond recognition. If you live in East Dallas and you’re craving something Asian/wok style… it can satisfy that craving, but definitely not some place I’d frequent regularly.

Their cream cheese rangoons and mongolian beef are my go-to’s here. Their sushi is ok, nothing special. Their mongolian beef was just like P.F. Chang’s mongolian beef to me, except cheaper :)

This restaurant looks really nice and is always clean. The staff are super friendly and cool. I really enjoy how clean the menus are advertised. The problem is that the food just isn’t that great. Everyone I talk to in the are eat here and really enjoy it but every time I eat here I try different things and I’m always disappointed. It’s a good environment and clean but the food just doesn’t do it for me.

So I am really upset! This is the third messed up meal I received from this peiwei. Today I order Mongolian beef with tofu and I get beef broccoli. Last time I ordered pei Wei spicy and I got Thai dynamite. I mean how difficult is it to get my order correct?! So I guess I will not be going to this pei Wei again.

Love the Lettuce Wraps… this spot is not as good as the downtown location but it’s closer to home. Good wise. Although the staff is just as nice.

Take salty soy sauce, add powdered ginger and sugar — that’s their brown sauce that’s on almost EVERYTHING. Oh, and salt. Did I say salt yet? Super salty, couldn’t eat the beef & broccoli. Food got to us fast — so fast the broccoli was still raw. So you know the berg had been cooked for god knows how far in advance. Even the brown rice was low quality and tasted stale. Husband got the Mongolian Beef — same flavor profile but with added sugar. Yuck! I was sick for hours after the little I did eat. The staff seemed to care — but this is a chain so their hands are tied on the menu. We got our food about 5 minutes apart. Awkward. The place was crowded. I’ve been to other locations and didn’t have the tables so close to each other that even the staff cleaning them tries(they really did — there just isn’t any room for them to work!) to arrange them in inviting ways and it still is just a couple of inches apart between tables. Best part of the meal was the sliced oranges. I know they are meant for your drink, but the salt level of the food was so high — and unprocessed — made a simple orange slice practically orgasmic. If you are in the mood for Asian in Casa Linda shopping center, just go across the street and order anything from the menu at Szechwan Pavilion!!!

FINALLY!!! I live right across the street from this place and have been anxiously waiting its grand opening. Before I’ve been driving almost 25 min to the nearest PW location. Line is always out the door. Order online if you can. Be prepared to wait for a table if you come at peak hours. I got great and friendly service. My order was made fast even though I was a walk-in. I love PW. Their dishes are always good. PS — Get the Kung Pao chicken on Noodles, hold the peanuts. My favorite.

We visited this new store at the corners of Garland and North Buckner and regret that we did. Ordering is simple enough. We visited online and ordered food via the website. The site told us when we could expect our food and even gave us a total that we were able to pay prior or picking up the food. That is about the only bonus of the entire experience. The food is salty – incredibly salty, throat and mind numbingly salty. We ordered the Mongolian steak, chicken salad rolls, wonton soup bowl, and chicken and fried rice. The soup came with a full plastic bowl of broth with three measly wontons wraps, meaning I got less than one wonton per dollar spent. The vegetables were fresh, which was a bonus, but the meat was incredibly – indescribably – salty. I am thirsty still and have had two glasses of water already. My wife said her stomach hurts from eating the warps. She does not know why. I cannot help but adamantly disagree with the precious reviewer. I am not happy Pei Wei is in our neighborhood now; I am sad I wasted $ 35 on a meal I could have easily purchase from the worst Asian cuisine in the neighborhood at $ 12. We won’t be back to this place — ever. Not worth the heartburn or the money! Gets two stars for fresh vegetables and for vegetables only!
