Peking Kitchen

i have been ordering from peking kitchen for 10 years. the employees are polite and helpful, the delivery always on time, and for the price the best chinese in oak cliff.

This is nothing fancy, but really good cheap Chinese food. I always order the fried rice with extra egg rolls. The portions are large and the employees are friendly. If you’re looking for something above a typical Chinese take out place, this isn’t your place, but if you’re looking for cheap and decent Chinese, this is it. Also, if you call in with 8 ORDERS over the phone, you’re the one who’s a jerk. There IS a minimum for delivery.

I know a 1 may sound harsh but after the experience I just had I will never order from there again. I called from my work to place an order for 8 people which I know can be a lot so I called at 10:30 (to make sure they weren’t busy) I placed the order fine and asked if some of the orders could be paid by credit card and the girl said ok but when I got to the third order she decided that the minimum to run a credit card was $ 10 and asked if she could just charge the third card with the remaining balance, I said no obviously and told her the rest would be paid in cash. When we received our order many of the orders were incorrect, the right entrée but missing rice or wrong rice. No big deal except when I called to let them know we were missing an order completely (which was the only thing one person ordered. When we called the girl said, well can I just give you a credit for next time. I said no because it was the only thing this person ordered and that was her lunch. Her response was that they had other deliveries so once those were done they would bring the rice. I have no words for this place other than this is the last time we will be ordering from them

I say a 3 because of the fried rice, egg roll, and broccoli with brown sauce. It was all pretty blasé. However, the sweet and sour chicken was awesome, and the delivery was super quick! I’ll for sure order again, but def not the broccoli or egg roll.

I have been coming here for over 8 years and this is still my favorite Chinese buffet. Best bang for the buck. I usually call in my order to go of egg fried rice, jalapeño chicken and a side of orange sauce. Feeds a large family for cheap and most of the buffet items are great. No complaints. Staff is attentive and friendly.

I’m alarmed to find out that a family friend reported maggots in the lunch they purchased from Peking Kitchen. When Peking Kitchen was contacted, they snidely told our friend not to bring an «empty box» back because they are not refunding their money. I’m just beside myself right now.
