WORSTPHOEXPERIENCE. hands down the worst customer service and food. Do not order the rice entrees. Chicken entrée is not fresh at all. All wayyyy too salty. They did not even care to apologize.

I love phở and I’m glad a place in Dallas is able to execute this. Unfortunately their service doesn’t match their food. The people are rude, pushy and if they fet your order wrong they give you attitide and act like it’s your fault. I love the food but the horrible unfriendly service here is a real turn off.

It is basically fast food Phở and Banh mi. It’s not bad by any means but there are a TON of other Vietnamese places you can go too that taste better at a fraction of the cost. But when you don’t feel like driving all over town for something and Phở is for Lovers is down the street? It’s a great option.

This was my third time to stop by this particular restaurant to pick up a carry-out. The service was great as usual. I normally call in advance and place my order whenever I come to get my carry-out. My wife loves this place and it is sad they don’t have a location in Plano! I believe they are in three locations, SMU, Allen, and in Dallas(Preston & Belt Line). The restaurant is always clean when I visit and the food comes out pretty quick and hot even if you did not place the order in advance. When I arrived, the staff was friendly and immediately recognized me and provided me my carry-out package, making sure it was everything I ordered. I normally order the following: $ 9.79 Beef Phở — Comes with Filet, Brisket, and Meatballs in soup with rice noodles served with a side of sprouts, basil, jalapenos, and lime. This is delicious! 9.79 Seafood Phở — This is my wife’s favorite meal. This comes with Shrimp, Scallops, and Calamari in soup with rice noodles served with a side of sprouts, basil, jalapenos, and lime. They have plenty of other choices which are delicious and next time I’m in the mood for Vietnamese food, I’ll definitely try the other menu items. Overall, I think for the price of the meals, the big servings, the friendly staff and the delicious food, this place is worth for you to check it out!

The Phở is alright! And if you hear this from a Vietnamese dude, it means it’s not so good.

This was my first time trying Phở is for lovers. I ordered the Kbbq Beef Phở, Chicken Phở, Chicken Bahn Mi, and a Beef Bahn Mi. The Phở’s were delicious, great portions, and flavorful broth. I was not impressed with the sandwiches, even though the french bread was very well made(not sure if they make it in house). The chicken for the Bahn mi was mediocre, and the sauce was nothing special, over all I was very disappointed in the sandwiches. However the soups were flavorful and great in portion size. Honestly, i will probably keep looking for great Phở/Bahn mi sandwiches.

Slow service during lunch. Lots of un-bussed tables, overpriced and angry people with no food in front of them. I’ll keep looking for my phở spot.

I found this place in an article as having one of the 9 must have sandwiches in Dallas, so decided to give it a whirl. The sound of korean bbq bahn with kimchee just sounded marvelous. The place itself is nice, clean and decorated modernly. It was pretty empty for 5pm but hey just means I get my food faster, right? Not exactly! I ordered the KBBQ bahn, order of egg rolls and a Thai tea and had a seat. Took about 10 minutes which, in my opinion, wouldn’t have been bad had there been more than 3 people there but there wasn’t and I ordered a sandwich. I finally get my food and go to dig into to the egg roll and much to my disappointment, it was luke warm. I figured no big deal and decided to move on to my sandwich. Welp, it was cold! Ughhhhh! How frustrating! Add insult to injury, the bread was super chewy! Flavor was great but hot food would have been fabulous! I am thinking for about 10 minute wait my food shoulda been piping hot! Unfortunately, I was extremely pressed for time so I didn’t ask for a remake. I wrapped everything up and took it home. I will say though, after I got home, I nuked my sandwhich and it was quite tasty hot! While I won’t write this place off completely, I probably won’t break my neck to go back. Disappointing.

This is my go-to phở place in Addison. I always order the same dish — bowl of chicken phở. Pretty great considering the price point, location, and quality.

The place is clean and nice but as for the phở… the broth is very bland. Tried it out 3 times and different phở bowls but the same. Not bad but that’s about it.

Came here for lunch with my gf because we were craving some phở. The place was very clean, with natural light from windows, and good food. I had the spring rolls, and chicken phở. It was good, I’ve had better phở with more goodies inside, but I will definitely be back. The service was fast, and the price is right.

I have been phở-deprived since changing jobs, so my ranking may be overrated. My favorite phở selection is raw steak, but due to my desire for more protein, I usually alternate between the steak/brisket or steak/meatball offerings. This place only offers one beef phở, and it is loaded with all three meats. Broth has good flavor and is not overly fatty. Pricey for Vietnamese food, and it’s a chain, but I suspect it is consistent. ps. If you rank phở spots by their chicken, you are an idiot.

Got here at 8:40 tonight the girl at the counter said we could only take food to go, since they stop seating at 8:45, husband told her it wasn’t 8:45 yet and she said oh well… Pretty rude… Seemed like she just wanted to go home, so we left, we will take our business elsewhere…

I so wanted to like this place! The inside was nice. People were friendly. I was craving phở(I always am) and assume that this place would have a lot of phở options considering phở is in the name. I ordered the beef phở to go. When I came home and mixed it all together, I was most disappointed in the noodles. Everything else was fine but the noodles were subpar. & I’m not even a picky eater ! My go-to phở place is farther north in Plano, called Phở Apple. Better selection, better noodles.

My review is for the service and chicken Phở only. I really enjoy this place and it’s the closest I have come to my favorite place in CA. They are super fast. Every time I come here they are polite and fast. I have called ahead and waited for take out and really it’s fine to walk in and order to go. They are more than generous with their fresh ingredients and I have never missed a spoon, napkin, sauces or chopsticks in my order. I go here often and would recommend to anyone.

My first time here and decided to try because my fave phở spot don’t open till 12. Décor and set up is nice and clean, but doesn’t have any pizazz. It just seem like a corporation own type of look. Tried the phở of course and its blah, it doesn’t stand out like any other phở place. Also had the Korean BBQ which I find a bit odd Korean at a Vietnamese restaurant, but I decided to try. It was ok I expected more flavor out of the meat. Overall experience wasn’t bad but it didn’t convince me to try again either.

There was GLASS in my food. Wow, I am so disappointed. My mom and I went here more than a week ago and she ordered spring rolls and took a bite. She bit on something really hard. It was a «plastic» as the workers in the back said that looks and feels like glass. How did a piece of glass that’s an inch long get in her spring roll? The glass hammered down to her tooth and it bled and now her jaw/whole mouth is in pain. On top of that, her molar got chipped. So my mom got their manager’s number and talked to a girl name Jennifer. Apparently she’s not taking this seriously because after my mom told her about how much pain she had, the«manager» just offered free meals… and then said, «Oh, and didn’t we also refund you back?» She then says the owner will email or call us, which never happened. I have record of sending my email address through text and recorded the whole conversation. I am so disappointed with the service and how they don’t even care for what pain my mom is going through because of an incident that shouldn’t have happened. They are not taking any responsibility over this situation. I am so disappointed, this incident happened through their mistake and resolving this through free meals is not acceptable and right. Even if they offered me 10 free meals or lifetime meals, I would never go there again. We can’t even trust their food. Now, we wonder what else could have been in the foods we ate that were not detected beforehand like that glass piece. It not only concerns us but everyone else that eats there. My mom is not even sure if she swallowed glass pieces which definitely could be a possibility. It makes me wonder how I can ever trust them when they don’t keep their word, because what else can they be doing in the kitchen that consumers don’t see. We are consulting with our attorney.

My maiden voyage to Phở is for Lovers was a good and enjoyable experience. Sadly, I took the food to go so I didn’t get to enjoy their modern and hip venue, but nonetheless the food was very delicious. I had the tofu summer rolls and they were splendid. Light and fresh, they went well with the tangy, yet sweet, dipping sauce they provide. They are more filing then they look so be warned! I also had some of the beef phở(my sister ordered it) and it was very good too. Great noodles with lots of yummy broth and meat. I will definitely be returning. A must-try for any Vietnamese lovers out there. ~Carpe Diem~

I have had their Phở once, at their Lover’s location. I actually wanted to try D’Vegan, but the traffic was horrid and this was closest to where I was shopping. I started with the Tofu Summer Rolls. Hmm, what would be the best description of this… Yawn. So dry and boring. No taste. Chewy in some weird way. I don’t know, it was just odd. The service was extremely slow, but the Tofu Phở finally arrived. It was tasty and hot, with chunky vegetables and big chunks of tofu. Granted, I’ve only tried Phở at this restaurant chain. Do you normally have to put so much sriracha in it to add some zest? I really need to try some other vegetarian Phở elsewhere so I can compare.
