Nancie is an exceptional instructor. I did private lessons with her via Groupon and she was doing the movements with me, counting and guiding my breathing every step of the way. I felt an improvement in strength and mobility with each session! She has a mélange of equipment so you can definitely add some tools to your toolbelt by the time she’s done with you. Her hours accomodate working people which is great. She is well worth the $$ and she is a «no sales pressure» kind of person. Give it a try!

This is a Fletcher Pilates studio, so there’s a focus on dance, coordination and precision. The percussive breathing(think loud Ujjayi breathing) is still hard for me to get used to. Fletcher Pilates also focuses on towel work, which I had thought was kind of silly, until I learned how challenging it is. For me, this style of Pilates is more relaxing than other styles. This studio has one instructor(Nancie) and three students at a time. A class can be any combination of work on the ped-i-pul(also called a ped-o-pul or a ped-a-pul), the step barrel, the towel, or the reformer. The small group of students get to know each other and come at the same day/time every week. The downside is that the classes fill up and are hard to get into. The space doubles as a dance studio, so there’s often some nice music playing in the background. Parking is easy — there’s a lot across the street. Since I came in with a Groupon(or something similar), I appreciated the opportunity to check out this studio. Now I just need for someone to drop out so I can steal a permanent slot.

What a terrible experience! I just moved to Dallas so I was looking for a pilates studio close to home. I saw a deal on Homerun for Pilates Squared and decided to purchase it to try it out. The manager(Nancy?) called me back to set up an appointment, however when I mentioned the voucher her tone immediately changed. We scheduled a lesson, but she just kept asking about the voucher, whether I was sure it was for Pilates Squared(seriously?) and was the expiration date ok(6 months from now still). She later called about 3 times asking the same questions, and finally told me it was a mistake and that I should try to cancel the voucher and get a refund. Never did she apologize(!), invite me to the studio or mentioned the class we have already scheduled. So rude. Surprisingly bad service. Luckily, there are plenty of nice places around to do pilates. Highly do not recommend.

Pilates Squared is excellent, unmatched for Pilates instruction! Nancie is so personable and knowledgeable about pilates and what works for your individual needs and /or limitations. The classes are very small so you can receive personalized instruction to recieve the full benefit of the movement. Additionally the private and class instruction is very well priced compared to other local pilates studios. If you are thinking about starting Pilates, dont wait another day. I can honestly say this place has changed my life and my body!!! I only wish I had done it sooner…

I am so glad I found this place. I did pilates, I am very picky on instructors, I only like the ones who are classically trained, and had a proper dance background. I do turn my nose up at those so called pilates classes at big gyms. Well, I am thrilled I found this place and instructor Nancie is a great Fletcher Pilates trainer.
