Pizza Patron

I have only tried two things at Pizza Patron and both were awesome! The first thing I tried was the spinach pizza and it was amazing. The price was $ 7.99+TAX at the time and for the price I think the pizza is a good size and tastes pretty awesome. The second thing I tried was their CHURRO’s which are 2 for $ 1.99. The churros have a dulce leche filling inside and are freshly put through the oven when you order them. These churros are NOT the typical fried, crispy, oily churros. They are crispy on the outside and moist on the inside with the nice delicate filling. It’s almost like a gourmet pastry from an expensive bakery or restaurant. SERIOUSLY THE BEST CHURROS! Everyone should try one! hehehe

For the price you pay it is not too bad. It was not my favorite pizza but it was good for a hungry college student. Better than little cesaers so I was satisfied.

Great prices but u know what they say… u get what u pay for, I decided to give Pizza Patron a try after hearing several radio ads but what a disappointment! Quite frankly the food was completely disgusting and the cashier’s english was so bad he couldn’t understand that I was asking for parmasean cheese & crushed peppers, luckily, another customer who is truly bilingual was present and she acted as translator. Do yourself a favor if u don’t feel like paying big bucks for pizza go to Cici’s instead.

I really wanted to like Pizza Patron. This pizza chain leaves no doubt at their target market: the Latino community.
From their Spanish menus to even accepting the Mexican peso for payment, Pizza Patron gets props for embracing a true multicultural vibe.
Their prices are also extremely affordable which, again, gives opportunity for dining out to those who might not be able to afford it otherwise.
The extra star in my rating takes into account the above.
Having said that, I could not get past the pizza itself. I opened up my box and pools of grease had already collected on the pizza. Pizza normally has some amount of that but this was really disgusting.
After sopping up 5 napkins, I was extremely disappointed by the rubbery texture of the already hardening cheese. The bread was also on its way to rigor mortis even though the pizza had only been out of the oven less than 10 minutes.
I hate that I would rather eat Pizza Hut or Domino’s over Pizza Patron.
