Filthy tables and sour wine. Looked like the tables hadn’t been wiped in days. I would have left if I had the time to not eat.

The good: — food for the hungry traveler — nice location, at second floor D18 The bad: — pizza dough was«different» — 3 draft options, pricey

A sorry watering hole. That about sums it up. Came in at 6:30 Monday, October 5th, sat, someone approached asked what I wanted to start«cocktails, shots, etc…» I just wanted water and an entre. I asked for water. The water came, then I waited, and waited. I let it go for over 40 minutes, as I had a multi-hour layover. Then had enough, asked the guy on the way out where I could get good food. The reply, maybe downstairs at McDonald’s. Wow… You know it’s true I would have received better service, an possibly food at McDonald’s.

Terrible I ordered the gluten free pizza, so not to risk bloating on my trip. The worst gluten free pizza I have ever ordered. Should’ve known from an airport restaurant. The waitress said, «well, it is gluten free» Oh well, DFW, one down, loads of other restaurants to go to.

Veggie Pizza is awesome! Be sure and ask for it crispy for best results. Add a glass of wine to compliment and you have a great meal!

Like this place and it is my new hangout when hungry or need to pass time at DFW. Comfy seating just outside the main dining area. They will bring your food out there to you if you like. Chill which is very welcome for the international gates. Good pizza. Ordered the Pepperoni/Sausage/Onion… Super tasty. Beer/wine/soda and fresh brewed iced tea looked good. Clean and modern dining/bar area. Staff is excellent! Friendly, patient and on task. Also, saw two different flight crews eating here. For those of you unfamiliar with what is a good gauge of where to hang out in an airport… follow the airline cabin crews and you won’t go wrong.

Got here this afternoon on a layover. Memo to lazy waitress. If the glass the wine comes in is dirty then you should change the wine as well. Not just pour it in a new glass. That’s exactly what she did. Disgusting! Also is it too much to ask to get additional ice when a soft drink is refilled? Obviously this additional step was not in the capability of this lazy waitress. The place only had 4 other people in it. Food was hit or miss. Prosciutto pizza was good. Pesto pasta was not. Should be called cold drizzled mayonnaise with a hint of garlic. Not good. This so called waitress was more interested in chatting up her co workers than actually tending to her guests.

The staff is really friendly. And the crust on the pizza is delicious. It’s a nice tucked away place to chill out.

The first time I went there I was intrigued by the ham apple & fig preserve panini. It was wonderful! I have been back 4 – 5 times & that is the only thing I eat…

Been here a few times now. Its a good quiet place to hang out and people watch for a while. The wines are good, but expensive. The food is OK, probably better than most airport food. I wouldn’t go here if it wasn’t at the airport, but for the airport, its a pretty good option.

Indifferent service, barely warm soup, pizza just so-so. Ordered pasta with just a little butter, they were out of spaghetti noodles and delivered penne swimming in about a half a cup of butter. The only good thing was a Caesar salad. Oh yeah and they were out of iced tea. REALLY? That was a waste of $ 60.00

Jesus G. — great service! Food was tasty but sent it back twice because it was cold. Too bad, with the service and the view this place wold have easily got 5 stars if the food service ways up to par!

Pizzavino is up stairs above Tigin Irish Pub however they have an elevator now along with a new menu from spaghetti to lasagna this place has it all not just pizza. Very happy with the options to choose from.

This is more a 3.5 star review. I had the«never ending» pasta bowl which was decently priced given that it’s an airport. I recommend that you stick to the pesto sauce which was great. The marinera sauce though was terrible. Weird metallic taste, not sure how to describe but I didn’t dig it. The service was terrific. Very friendly and fast.

Pizza was very good!!! OK… it was excellent! I had the Margarita and do not think I left more than some crumbs behind. I travel extensively both inside and outside of the U.S. and I can honestly say this is the best food I have had at any airport. I could not believe I was in an airport. For sure the next time I am passing through DFW airport I will schedule my flights with plenty of layover so I can enjoy this place again. On my must go to again list!!! Check this place out and I assure that you will be glad you did.

I absolutely love when I have a layover in Dallas! Why, Pizza Vino! Even when I don’t end up arriving or departing from D, if there is time, I head over here for lunch or dinner. Pizza is delicious, thin crust and served fairly quickly considering they do make the pizza to order. They also have a very nice wine selection. Haven’t ever had a bad meal at this place!

I can’t tell you how many hours I’ve spent at DFW killing time between flights. Most recently I had 3 hours before my next flight to MIA, so I found this place and opted for a goat cheese with mushrooms pizza for about $ 10. Nice thin crust, just the right amount of toppings, not too salty. It was surprisingly good considering the other nearby choices for food — belch. Service was excellent and there was no rush as I sat there above the masses, spread out all my travel reading material, and took my time reading quietly.

Dreadful restaurant even by airport standards. Glass of meh wine set me back $ 11. The sign at the stairwell said«pasta bowls», but after climbing two flights of stairs we found nary a pasta item on the menu. So I went for the garden salad with bacon and cheese. The salad was long on tough lettuce stems and stalks and short on everything else. Service consisted of someone stopping by to take our order, dropping off our food and dropping off our check. My only chance to ask for a water refill was when our server brought the bill — without asking if we wanted anything else.

I had a 2 hour layover at DFW and saw the sign for PizzaVino and thought I would try it out. The waiter was very friendly and explained some wines and the menu very nicely. I’m a big pizza margherita lover so I decided to give it a try. The waiter warned me it would take around 12 to 14 minutes and that they didn’t put red sauce on it. I’ve had pizza margherita both with and without red sauce and the more authentic versions usually don’t have the sauce which is fine with me. The first thing I noticed when he brought the pizza was that it was covered with a balsamic vinegar reduction that had been squirted(not drizzled) all over the pizza. Also the tomatoes were finely diced and peeled. I was very disappointed because I was hoping for some excellent nicely sliced beefsteak or roma tomatoes. The balsamic vinegar alone ruined this pizza but the tomatoes made it even worse.
It was almost time to board my flight so I asked for the check and took a quick look then handed my card to the waiter. I waited for around 10 minutes and he never came back with my card and receipt so I had to flag him down. He was sure he already gave it to me then realized he hadn’t even run it through yet. Not a big deal but in an airport I expect a little more promptness.
