OK, I know I only tried this place at the State Fair of Texas, but they, hands down, have the best fried chicken and waffles combination. I wish they would open a food truck and park next to my building, serving only dark meat chicken with buttery, fluffy waffles. They are the only food I crave at the Fair every year and it has become a tradition. The staff at the Fair is friendly and great at what they do. They should change the name of the restaurant. I stuffed 2 waffle platters in my mouth and didn’t care that my face was stained with grease and butter.
