This place is a lot like the old HitchN Post or Top Rail so if you are from Springfield Mo you’ll know I found a great little place. Live band tonight. Bar type seating instead of tables. Pool tables and tv.

Meh. Good little dive country bar, but their drinks are outrageous. We had 2 drinks and it was nearly $ 20.00. Totally not worth it.

Local place, most customers are regulars. Thursday is Ladies night no cover, Friday no cover, Sat. $ 5 after 8 o’clock. If the band is good the place is full Thur. and Saturday. Fri. is usually slow but good dancing space. Nice mix of customer base, down home country feel. Early (till 10:30 or so it is a little older crowd, then the younger group comes in and get a little more roudy.) Décor is nothing fancy, working class group most of the time. If you want to dance, you will not get turned down very often. Over all just a nice little Texas dance joint.

Was out with girlfriends on a Saturday night and we were feeling daring and wanted to go somewhere different. My friend Lauren mentions this place and remembers her mom used to go which should have been a warning that it’s not a place for young girls like us but whatever. We saw somewhere on the website or maybe they called?! I can’t remember for certain but it was assured that there was no cover charge so we get there only to be told it is 5 per person and my friends are out on the cheap so we leave but why say no cover then charge?! It can’t be that bad as I saw a few regulars in there so I willgive the benefit of doubt and with that, an extra star.
