Protection Networks has done a fine job of monitoring for the past 9 years. But beware of the contract you sign. I wanted to cancel my service because I found several other reliable companies who could monitor for $ 19/month instead of the $ 30/month. Unfortunately, when I tried to cancel I could not get out of my contract until next June. They automatically renew your contract every 2 years with no notification of renewal. I sent a letter to the President of Protection Networks asking for a response to my concerns. However, he has not taken the time to contact me. After being a loyal customer for 9 years you would think he could take the time to respond.

Horrible customer service. You call and you are transferred over and over. Anytime you need service on your account or system they charge you. When we needed a new battery I was told to go ahead and go online and buy one because they would charge me too much to come out. What is the point of paying a service fee if you will be charged for everything that goes wrong. Anytime we call we get no solutions, they just say the system doesn’t do whatever it is that you want it to and that’s it. They are not helpful at all. I cannot wait until our contract is over. BECAREFUL*** The contract is for 2 years, if you just want to try them out I would NOT do a contact with them. We are stuck with them for a while and honestly I don’t feel like they monitor the system at all.

When we switched from Directv to Uverse our 17 year old ADT alarm system was not compatible. Protection Network responded much more quickly to my need to replace the system — switch to the compatible wireless and digital. Their techs are all very curteous, clean and knowledgable. They recently came to address a signal transmitting issues and again were timely and effecient. I have and will continue to recommend Protection Network to friends for homes or businesses! Great company!
