Food = ? Price = 3 Experience = –1 Without asking me… the bartender took my Driver’s License and entered all my personal info into their POS system!!! What the hell??? At minimum, ASKFIRST!!! This is an incredible act in this era of rampant ID theft. It’s not that I don’t trust this place… I just don’t trust ANYONE with this info. After objecting, I was told it was a local GOVERNMENT requirement… REALLY? I’ve never seen this before and I’ve been all over Dallas and Texas. They may be a totally rightous crew… but, it’s just not wise to allow anyone to gather, record and hold such highly important personal info. MANAGER: Tell your staff to ASKFIRST!!!

There is a smell of smoke in the building… The food was very good but the menu didn’t seem to fit the venue neither did the prices. Attracts an older crowd 50 years +. service was on point.

Bartender ignored me, he was busy watching the game. I ordered Makers Mark and coke. Too strong! Didn’t taste right after i asked for more coke to be added. I think their fountain drink lines are dirty. Below average neighborhood bar. I wonder if they serve food? Placw nwwds a good cleaning and customer service training.

Great neighborhood bar and grill. Great food, great selection of beers and full of fun people. The best part is the hot bartenders and waitresses. Diana and Olivia are smokin hot. Recently moved in to the neighborhood. Been in Dallas my whole life. Even came here before when it was called Sterlings. Basically a great neighborhood bar and grill with awesome scenery. Ha ha

This place is so much fun. It’s a good size and the patio is nice. They often have live bands on the stage! The greeters and bartenders are always attentive and funny! Simon and Ben are so great at making the bar scene a good time.

I visited Red Rock last weekend to shoot some pool with a few friends. I had a great time! Lots of pool tables, good prices on drinks, and everyone including the staff is super friendly! My friends and I ended up playing pool with another small group and we has a blast, They even picked up my tab! The people there are a great crowd! Another plus: They have a live band on the weekends and the music was right up my alley!

Last night my friends and I were looking for a place to hang out because we were a little short on time. We decided Red Rock just because it was so close. Walked in and the place was bigger than I expected. The exterior looked small. This was like 95% men. Seems like a great place for guys to just hang out. There wasn’t any perverted guys or anything. & most of them were pretty attractive. The attire is casual but I was a little dressed up but still felt«in place.» They have a patio too which is nice. After the rest of the group came, we decided to play pool. Now, their pool tables are pretty out dated. It takes quarters. They should just charge a one fee to play as long as you’d like. The live band was really loud so it forces you to get real close to people when talking. I like this place! I definitely underestimated it but would definitely go again on a «chill» night out.

Simon the bartender was great. Kept our drinks full all night long. The bands on Thursday are amateur, so if you like live music avoid the last Thursday of the month.

As I drink my way around DFW, I thought it was time to head in to Red Rock, not that I’ve not been here many times, but now I get a chance to review it. First thing you’ll notice is you get carded when you walk in, even old guys like me. I guess it makes me feel kind of special. I’m not sure if they do to more regulars or not but if I don’t frequent a place often then I have no problem with that. As you walk in to the left is an L shaped seating bar and a stage, far right are some games and high top tables, then in front is where I was heading… the bar! I plonked myself down and one of the bartenders, Simon, recognized me before. They have all the regular beers on tap plus a few different ones such as Golden Monkey(yum) and Dragon’s Milk(also yum) so I had one each of those. There’s always a friendly crowd around the bar and it didn’t take long to strike up a conversation with some of my fellow drinkers. Actually, I did come to Red Rock that night because my friend, Kent, was drumming in a new band, The Tazmaniacs, and I was there to offer moral support. Not that they needed it, they got the house rocking with Crazy Train followed by a slew of great songs. Keep you eyes on these guys. It was their first gig as a new group and I’m sure they’re going to be popular on the Dallas circuit. Oh yes, there’s plenty of eye candy too! So yes, you’ll find me here every couple of months or so, it’s definitely a regular stop on my rounds. Overall, great music, great drinks, great. things to look at, just wish I didn’t have that 15 second delay running my card and getting in the way of beer time :)

I’ve been coming here for about 10 years. The name has changed, but the service has always been great. The staff is friendly and quick. They have a free poker game in Monday’s and Tuesday’s. I highly recommend.

Avoid the nights when the«Meet Up» group is there. A guy in a green shirt reserved all the tables around us and told one dining table they had to leave when they were done eating. 1⁄3 of the group drank water while enjoying the band… the server was gracious but what an injustice. Time for the manager to start a cover or per table $minimum…the Meet Upettys acted like they owned the place. I spent over $ 100 while Mr Green Shirt drank water. I have a heart for servers.

Pretty surprised by the high reviews on this spot. The service sucks, the waitress finally took my order after 15 mins with only 8 ppl in there. The drinks are ok and the food is nothing to write home about. Definitely for the older crowd or the locals within a 1 mile radius. I’ll never go again.

My boyfriend and I went there tonight. We have been there on other several occasions. As soon as we went in and sat down at the bar, a cocky douche black bartender immediately says«the seats are taken and you have to move» I get a little irritated by it and he could tell. But of course following rules… we get up to move. Then douche bartender says«do you have a jacket cause you can’t have a tank top» As me and my boyfriend look around… the waitress and a few other customers are in tank tops. I assume it’s because I’m heavily tatted. But then of course it’s probably because a cocky bartender is behind a counter and would feel dominant knowing if someone gives him a slight eye roll he could just throw us out. Needless to say… we respectively left and didn’t start anything. That’s what he wanted… But there is no dress code. Don’t recommend this place.

This is a guys hangout, for sure. My boyfriend loves to come here for a little poker with his buddies. Last week, I found myself meeting them for a brief second and grabbed a drink while catching the NBA Playoffs. Not much to say here except that the bartenders and staff are super down-to-earth and make you feel right at home. The drinks are reasonable too. Check out the pool table if you’re not into poker, and grab something off their food menu if you’re hungry.

This place is a solid 3 stars for me. It’s not your fancy Dallas bar. It’s just your local spot that has cheap drinks and pool tables. The food menu isn’t anything special, but it is suitable to curb your munchies. There are bands on the weekends. It’s a good place to play pool with your date or with buddies without breaking the bank. And the friendly bar staff will always take good care of you.

I ventured off my normal path to RedRock Bar to see a band called viynl tap. The band made the night… great stage and dancing area… very roomy. There is pool and darts and giant jinga. It is large and thank goodness smoke free. Beyond this, it is your average strip mall bar. The big negative which makes me question whether to drop them from 3 to 2 stars is the fact that their drinks came in super small glasses and were very weak… I will give them a pass as maybe it was the bartender that night. nothing special but with a good band and great friends… you can have a great night.
