Riverside Inn & Suites

Awful! Beds are like sleeping on the floor. Never renovated 60s and the service leaves a lot to be desired. Booked for 2 nights and stayed 1. They would not even refund the 2^nd night. Will never stay here again!

The entire family that runs this place is incredibly rude, they acted like they were doing us a favor when we had paid and reserved the room in advance. The woman operating the hotel stand was condescending and berated us for needing accommodation for my fractured ankle (a room on the first floor). My friend and I booked a one bed room to save money and the woman tried to push us into paying for seperate beds and when we told her no she gave us (my friend, while I waited in the car with my broken leg) a dirty, disgusted look, threw us the hotel key and walked away in a huff without saying even a thank you or have a nice night. The rude service didn’t end there, all night the woman’s husband glared eerily at us whenever we returned to our car for luggage. Not even a hello, he stood in the doorway of the room next to us and stared at us as we quietly gathered our stuff. Inside our tiny room, the ceiling oozed a creamy brown substance, and the bathroom tub was speckled with dead bugs and what looked like tree bark. Mind you all I could barely walk, but the staff treated me like some kind of annoyance. We checked out the next day, but before we left, my friend asked to extend checkout by ten minutes and the lady gave her shit again. Finally, we left, but not without leaving an expensive pillow behind. We came back a day later for it and was «greeted» by what I believe to be their son, we thought he’d be more polite than his parents, but then as we sat in the parking lot for 10 minutes or so trying to put the coordinates to Washington in Google Maps, he very rudely went to our car and told us to get out of their parking lot, which would be fine but the way he so rudely told us to pretty much fuck off left us with the most sour taste for this entire hellhole of an establishment. Honestly, fuck this place, why pay to be treated like cockroaches when you can get another inn for a better price and stay?

This place is horrible. Im up in Oregon for a funeral, or I wouldnt waste my time unless it was a real problem. This place is a mess. Where to start: We have a two bedroom suite. It has one bath towel. One coffee cup. A small tv from the 60’s. Carpet with matted dirt, it feels sticky. Shower head and sink both shoot water everywhere, clearly backed up. We got up early to get extra towels and the office was closed. CLOSED. The sofa is from the 50’s and smells. They still use actual keys for the rooms. The whole floor creeks every time you walk. This place is dirty, old, nasty and both times we spoke to lady who runs its, she was rude and put-​out that we even said anything. Stay away from this dump.
