I drive past over a dozen beer selling establishments and no less than three actual liquor stores to shop here. I couldn’t imagine a more friendly nor accommodating staff and I refuse to spend money anywhere else.

Highly over priced!!! When I questioned the clerk about the high prices she said: «We are a store of convenience». For who? Overcharging is not how you retain business, so this was my first and last time at Ross Liquor.

This Place seems SKETCHY at first, and i hesitated to go in the first time i went. But don’t let the exterior scare you off. The people who work here make up for it. Im always warmly greeted and the employees are always attentive and helpful. The deaf Man who works here is incredibly friendly and has a great sense of humor. The ladies that work there are also incredibly personable and eager to get you anything you need. This is my «go to» place for all my liquor.

I would easily give a place like this one star. They didn’t have what I wanted x 4. Seriously! I asked for Lone Star, no. Tecate? No. Dos Equis? Yes. Can? No. Ok. How about Tullamore Dew? You have unique requests. Really? This is a liquor store ain’t it? Nothing worked in my favor here. The store is very limited on beer and liquor. Homeboy is Def, doesn’t read lips, and, all communication is through pen and paper. I put a little sympathy in my voting here. I wish him well.

I admit, I was afraid to go into Dallas liquor stores alone, I haven’t seen any in my area that are inviting and frankly, they’re all a little f-in’ sketchy looking. I had been eying up Ross Liquors for a few weeks and I sucked it up and walked on in here just before the holidays… with my boyfriend… and I was delighted to find this place was well lit, had a super friendly guy behind the counter, extensive hard liquor selection and priced quite right. I do wish they had real limes and lemons, but the squeezy plasticy lime variety will work too I suppose, at least they have that. I’d go back AND I’d even go in here alone. Overall my adjustment to Dallas from Chicago has been pretty smooth… but dammit, why can’t I buy vodka and broccoli at the same store?! Hmphhh.
