He’s great, efficient, funny and the best eye dr. I’ve ever had!

I have been going to Dr. Schpok since the mid 90’s. He is absolutely fantastic. It’s easy to get an appointment and I never have to wait long in the waiting room. Most importantly, he takes the time to explain everything that I should know about my eyes. I have never left an appointment thinking «I should have asked…» He’s kind, funny and thoroughly informative. I moved to the other side of the metoplex last year, but have no intention of ever changing eye doctors. He is worth the drive!

I would like to first mention that this has only been my 2^nd eye exam, so I’m quite new to the whole eye exam thing. My last prescription expired so it was time to get a new one. I’ve been looking for a good Optometrist nearby and I decided to give Dr. Schpok a try. I was able to get an appointment in the next day which was a Saturday.
My last eye exam (with a different place) went by fairly quick. I sat in the waiting room longer than the actual eye exam with the doctor. But with Dr. Schpok, I waited about 10 – 15 minutes if even. The eye exam lasted a good 45−60minutes. I was surprised he took that much time with me. It was thorough and I was confident that I would be leaving with an awesome experience. He was open and I felt that he actually cared.
I’m going to go back and I’m going to recommend my family and friends to go. You will not be disappointed with Dr. Schpok. Give him a try and you’ll see what I mean.

Dr. Schpok is an independent optometrist with his own shop. He’s very personable, and his prices are reasonable. I’ve been going to him since forever, and I’ve been taking my daughter there for about 12 years. She likes him a lot, he’s part of the reason she’s going to med school. It’s nice to find an independent shop like this, where you can go for years and always see the same optometrist. He used to have a lenses and frames guy next door, but now he sends people to Pay-​Rite Optical about a mile up Greenville Avenue.
