Sharp Floors

I found this company on Unilocal and thought it would be great to give my business to a family owned operation rather than one of the big box stores.
Big mistake! This business is «Grandpa», «Dad» and Patrick. It was nothing but mistakes from the very beginning. The installers put down a laminate floor tile that immediately popped back up. They put down a rolled laminate in the bathrooms that didn’t run straight with the walls, and they didn’t pull up the shoe mold to get the flooring under it. The guy got it close and caulked.
They sent out new material and new guys who installed the flooring nicely, but then put down white shoe mold next to stained oak cabinets.
All the while, the three men were bickering and blaming each other for the mistakes.
Not one time during this fiasco did they ever call to see how the jobs went. They also installed granite, after telling me they had their own yard, I found out they use one of the local granite companys off Harry Hines. That guy said he’s done with them because they are so awful to work with.
Three weeks after the job was finally finished, they suddenly remembered I hadn’t paid so that was the first time I was contacted. Patrick hesitated to give me a written warranty on the labor saying I could read it on their website. He also balked at itemizing the original invoice, which would have resulted in my paying $ 300 for something I didn’t even get.
Beware of these guys, run, don’t walk away from this place!
