I’m not a fan of painting. I’m not very good at it and I’d much rather be doing just about anything else. But there comes a time in every homeowner’s life when something is gonna need a fresh coat of paint. If this is your time, I highly suggest you skip the home improvement stores and make your way to Sherwin-Williams. Straight up, Sherwin-Willaims isn’t the cheapest option around. But there’s a reason for that. Cheap paint might look good for a while but try to wash off a dirt spot and tell me how well it works for you. Sherwin-Williams charges more for their paint because even their lowest quality paint is still really good quality. Using a good quality paint means you have to paint less. I’m so down with that. The employees are the reason I choose Sherwin-Williams time and time again. Ever ask a Home Depot employee the difference in paint types and what will work best for you? I sure hope not because lawdy knows what type of response you got. Try asking a Sherwin-Williams employee the same question and you’ll feel like you signed up for Paint 101. Have a question about color? They’ve got you covered there, too. Don’t quite know what color you like? No worries, just pick up a sample and give it a try. It’s much easier to change your mind when you’ve only spent $ 10 on a pint. You can also store all of your paint colors so you don’t have to worry about keeping track yourself if you ever need a touch-up. Before you leave the store, be sure to sign up for their email list as they send out coupons and advance notice of sales.
