Seriously so helpful!!! What a delight the lady who helped me was! So friendly and so knowledgeable!!! Which I appreciate because I’ve never been to this place. If you are looking for a fun fruit smoothie(not a health shake) they have them! For example the«Tropical Squeeze». I was looking for a health shake with a fruity taste, but wanted the protein!!! She suggested I do the«After Workout Formula». I substituted pineapple for the banana, that’s just a personal preference. She also asked if I wanted the extra sugar that comes with it… It’s so sweet to begin with there was no need for the extra– and I’m more than thrilled to say, she was right!!! The shake did NOT need extra sugar! It’s perfect! I got the 32 oz size! It’s wonderful! I also got a $ 1.00 off — Thank you Unilocal!!! If you have no idea what you want– walk in and just talk to them! They can help you find what you are looking for! Also, thank you for being open in the mornings!!! The other health shake places didn’t open till 11am. That seems dumb to me– have health shake products and don’t offer them until lunch??? No thank you! Great stuff! Fabulous shake! Service was amazing!!! Thank you!

Smoothie factory is not the same as smoothie king but is a mix between smoothie king and jamba juice. The choices on the menu are healthy and a lot of the items have protein. What makes a mix between the two is their smoothies have a healthy taste like you get at jamba juice. But it’s a smoothie not a juice so it’s similar to smoothie king. Anyways the price here seems to be a lot higher than the two and there isn’t a lot around town. What I did notice is smoothie factory seems to be next to or inside 24hr fitness. This location is next to 24hr fitness and Cindi’s. What I got was the very berry but without the protein and raspberry. I added bananas instead and it was good. I didn’t see the guy put in the honey but he did use turbinado sugar. For a regular size it’s close to $ 6 and the size of the cup is a longer than medium drink. The smoothie itself was not too bad but I could make it at home for the same cost. The smoothie has rice milk which is squirted out from a bottle. There were two workers there and one seems to spend a long time cutting the wheatgrass. The guy who made my smoothie made two others while the girl was cutting the wheatgrass. This has nothing to do with the smoothie but it’s just something I caught.

Smoothie Factory is located a few businesses to the right of the large gym in the same plaza. They offer freshly-made smoothies of many varieties, along with a large selection of retail items. There is something for everyone as far as the smoothies go. They had classics that included simple combinations of strawberry, banana, and the like. They also have more protein-based smoothies that can sub as meal replacements. They also have a list of smoothies that have some more tropical flavors. I don’t get nearly as many veggies in my diet as I want, so I opted to add spinach($ 1 extra) to my Island Delight smoothie. The smoothie was, most importantly, smooth. It was creamy and the right balance of sweetness and tart. The small(21 oz) was definitely plenty for me. I had looked online for nutritional info, and could not find it, so I was glad that they had a copy in-store. Nothing drives me more crazy than a business based on health & nutrition that don’t provide this info. The employee stated that the info was available online. Once I was back at my office, I found this nutrition guide on the .net site(instead of .com): I’m not sure which website is correct, but this is the right set of smoothies. It’s worth noting though, that this linked PDF and the version I saw in store don’t exactly match up. By the way, those values are for the 21oz version… most smoothies have more than enough calories in this size to replace a meal. Order the Classic Shake if you’re trying to replace two meals! :D The employees that attended to me were friendly and helpful. The store was clean, with a few tables and chairs to enjoy your smoothie if you want to stay there. Total cost for my smoothie was almost $ 7 — for a small with spinach. Although I liked the quality of the product and felt the service was good, I think it’s a little pricey for what you get. I’m looking forward to getting back to making smoothies on my own, but Smoothie Factory will certainly work if I ever find myself in a pinch again. PS — Be sure to Check In on the Unilocal!App for $ 1 off your smoothie!

I’m a first time customer. The store was neat and tidy inside with radio music in the background. Only one fella was working and 3 people were in front of me so it took about a 15 – 20 min wait. The employee worked swiftly and thanked each customer for their patience. I used a $ 1 off discount and due to the long wait, the employee deducted another $ 1. It wasn’t necessary though, but I appreciated the gesture. I work with kids so I have a lot of patience. Plus I wasn’t in a rush to get anywhere. My total was $ 3.48 and I tipped the employee a dollar while waiting in line. Oh and my Tropical Breeze Smoothie was super delicious! I do recommend!

You know how all the protein powders say they are so delicious, you will just love it; simply mix with water and stir. So, you look at the package and she looks happy drinking this protein with just water… so you go for it… only to gag in disbelief that you even tried that! Well, guess what! For just about the first time ever, in over 20 years of searching for the truly delicious protein mixed only with water… I have actually used every single envelope and returned to buy MORE! I recently had surgery and am on protein shakes for a couple of weeks. 40 grams of protein per packet… mixed with water… I do use a bullet… I buy the Vanilla Ice Cream flavor of Labrada Lean Body. Even my doctor was amazed! I am hooked!!! So when you go and try this magical tasty protein powder, get yourself a great fresh smoothie, or fresh juice, or fresh shot of wheatgrass. Also, this place is family owned and operated. SHOPLOCALFOLKS!!! Support your locally owned businesses! They make your neighborhood and they support your community. Unless of course you think fresh juice or smoothies are coming to your local BIGBOX store. You won’t be disappointed!

The employee is very nice! But the online menu is not the same as what’s in store. There is no labeling to find out what is in an «immune boost» and all their other silly add-ins. This place is geared towards the post work out crowd trying to stuff themselves with palatable protein. This is not for your health and nutrition focused consumer who wants a plant based, unrefined, whole smoothie without questionable ingrediants. I will say the prices are fair but they really don’t have juices like a juice bar does despite their advertising.

I’ve been coming here ever since I started attending UTD three years ago. It has always been tasty since day one. I’ve had one or two times when it wasn’t great but they gladly made me a new smoothie to my liking. It’s a fresh taste and convenient for me when I’m on the go. I would recommend trying it out, I never go to any other smoothie factory because I love how friendly the people are here & how well the smoothies are made. They also have a variety of nutritious snacks and supplements for the exercise aficionados.

I recently had wisdom teeth surgery, so I’m pretty much limited to smoothies/shakes. I decided to try Smoothie Factory — very comparable to Smoothie King, Jamba Juice, etc. The only downside is that the first drink I’ve ever had here turned out to be incredibly bland, or the fact that it had the fewest amount of calories. It was the Pineapple Paradise. I don’t know if this is at the fault of the recipe or the person who made my drink. Although I really didn’t enjoy my drink, which I threw out after taking a few sips, I’m not going to let this one visit prevent me from going again. I just felt that the visit here was a waste of $ 4.87 + time, which probably would have benefitted a homeless person than the drink itself.
