I just had lunch from Southpaw’s Organic Grill two days in a row. Yesterday I ordered the spicy beef sandwich. Today it was the«Elvis» and a grilled cheese. The Elvis is a PB&J and banana sandwich. It was quite tasty, and contrary to popular belief, healthy. I highly recommend this place.

I order via the uberEATS app. I had the wrap with two orange slices and watermelon. This made for a perfect lunch. The avocado wrap was delicious especially with the wrap. And fruit was fresh.

Went here for breakfast. Nice menu variety and helpful staff for a first timer. Anything from wraps to acai bowls to coffee for breakfast. Easy parking early in the morning also.

Order in from here every Thursday with work, consistently good with fresh ingredients. Great lunch spot. The Thai Lettuce Chicken Wraps are my personal favorite. Highly recommended!

I’m not a huge fan. This small uptown café serves organic, subpar food. The food is a hit or miss. I recently tried the Dallas sandwich and build your own bowl, and it was mediocre at best. Sure, we’re all looking for quick farm-to-table options that provide nutrition and taste, because it’s possible to have both. They provide nutrition before taste which we can do in our own kitchens. However, it’s a balanced meal, reasonable prices, and they don’t skimp on portions. It’s not hard to come across health conscious options in Dallas, but it is limited and even more so when it comes to reasonably priced organic options.

I can not believe South Paw actually charged money to serve romaine lettuce, peanut butter and deli turkey. These were a sad excuse for Thai lettuce wraps… I would not order from South Paw ever again.

Consistently good. Love this place! Acai bowl and tuna melt are to die for! Parking is a pain and a half so picking up a to go is difficult. They’re also too busy at the counter for lunch but the food is so good I always go back! Pricey.

I went to Southpaws for the first time the other day and was pleasantly surprised. I got the Zaza rice bowl and it was excellent. The chicken was fresh and delicious and it was quite a lot of food. I went in, ordered and sat at the bar while I waited. My food came out minutes later. It was about $ 10 for the rice bowl, which is kind of expensive — but you are paying for organic/quality ingredients. I will definitely be back.

Food: 5 stars Service: 2 – 3 stars The food is always fresh and delicious. A bit on the expensive side, but it’s Uptown so everything is. The only issue I’ve run into is the staff seems pretty unmotivated — they kind of do the bare minimum. Also, don’t expect them to remember if you ask them to do anything out of the ordinary. They’ll forget. But like I said, good food and I still eat here all the time.

I loved the food. it was fresh and tasty!!! Delivery was timely and driver was friendly. I will definitely order again when I am in Dallas. I live in Fort Worth and I so wish we had this kind of place to order from in Fort Worth. I guess I will just keep dreaming. lol I ordered the Turkey sandwich, grilled Parmesan sandwich and the avocado sandwich.

There is no excuse for the«chicken Thai lettuce wraps.» It looks like they put peanut butter on a piece of lettuce and then put lunch meat slices on top. No. And when I tried to send it back and get something else, they said no. Again, no. Will never be back.

Love love love the organic and vegan smoothies. Wish they were open on Sunday too! Would like to see more vegan options on the menu but overall I’m happy!

This is one of my favorite healthy options. If I worked closer, it would definitely be one of my go to lunch places. Fast casual but good organic fresh ingredients. They have a nice patio as well which is great for nice days. They have a variety of options from salads, soups, sandwiches, and bowls. My personal favorites are the green gobbler(I get it with the whole wheat wrap and grilled), the lettuce wraps, and I love to build my own bowl. Building your own bowl is a great dinner option because you get all the nutrients you need in one big delicious bowl. You have the choice of a base(I usually do sweet potato), then you pick your meats, and toppings. The bowls are large and filling without making you regret finishing the whole thing. All the entrees come with a side of seasonal fruit. Their smoothies are also great and refreshing. I always get the peach one and add strawberry. If you are health conscious and like a good clean meal — then this place is definitely worth checking out!

It’s a great option for healthy delicious food! Perfect for Lunch, they have many options for fresh juices(Sweet Tooth is my favorite) and healthy and tasty meals. The small patio is very inviting! My personal favorite is the Thai Chicken Lettuce Wrap. A little spicy, very tasty, each bite feels like an explosion of flavor in your mouth ! Yummy!

Outstanding healthy lunch option. This place has quickly become my go to spot for lunch whenever I can stop in and find the time. They are great with online and phone orders to help you avoid the rush at lunch and simply walk in to pick your food up. Smoothies, sandwiches, rice bowls, and more. A lot of the sandwich options come with a bit of fresh fruit. They don’t add sugar to anything as well as use only organic and natural options that do not include nitrates. The inside is very open where you can see the workers working and putting your meal or snack together. There is also outside seating to enjoy the weather and people watch.

Because this is Dallas and not California or Austin, Southpaws gets 4 stars in my book. No one else in the city makes the same effort to bring us organic and heathy options(for lunch). I love their wraps, especially the Dallas with turkey, hummus, Guac, and jalapeños. The fresh fruit is always refreshing and the no-frills vibe is a welcomed change of pace for Uptown. Some of the grips in other reviews are justified: it’s on the upper end of my lunch budget and they could spare another slice of meat, but given the context, I’m a strong supporter of Southpaws. Excited for the Downtown location!

Attention athletes, or those of you trying to get healthier! This review is for you! I like this place! Love that here, a person can get some healthy meals and it does not feel like a gym! There is a nice long wooden food counter /bar and the kitchen is right on the other side. It’s an open kitchen where you can watch them prep the food, which I like! Short version: get the Rocky Balboa for the sandwich, or Tiffany’s avocado bowl with the tuna as a healthy meal treat or the smoothie«Sixx» if you’re after a smoothie! The long version: The folks here are friendly and fast! The place is nice and clean! The food keeps coming out looking great! Well plated, nice healthy portions, not terribly big but healthy looking! Great atmosphere with fun music piped in. I’m writing this review for that inner athlete in you that is just dying to get out as well as that office type that is just right around the corner and you would love to get that heads up on your healthy choice! Here they put their food together with out added sugars, syrups, nitrates, or preservatives. They also state that they carry natural, clean and sustainably raised products purchased from local to surrounding states. I like the fact that they have organic and natural produce that are based upon season and availability. Listed below are some of the favorites: Tiffany’s avocado bowl; half of a avocado filled with your choice of hummus, tabbouleh, and /or tuna on a spinach and balsamic vinaigrette. (Bowl with tuna is calories 260, protein 26, carbs 12.) Brianna smoothie(strawberries, bananas and fat free milk) has 332 calories, 32 grams of protein and 72 carbs.(Below I have shorten these labels.) Zara rice bowl; has gluten free brown rice, free range grilled chicken breast, spinach, tomatoes, bell peppers, and mushrooms. Cal.312 pro33 carbs41 Scott’s spicy tuna salad; spicy white albacore tuna mix, baby spinach, cherry tomatoes, avocado with seasonal dressing on the side. Cal173 pro25 carbs14 Power salad; spinach, black olives, hearts of palm, feta cheese, mushrooms, red onions, pumpkin seeds with dressing on the side. Cal384 pro25 carbs34 Green gobbler; oven turkey, Swiss cheese, spinach, sliced avocado, tomatoes, hummus on either bread or wrap. Cal236 pro21 carbs5 Chicken Thai lettuce wraps; rotisserie chicken, spicy peanut butter sauce with carrots and almonds on romaine heart lettuce wraps. Cal111 pro15 carbs6 Tunita; white albacore tuna mix, mixed greens, black olives, pickles and tomatoes on either wrap or bread. Cal160 pro26 carbs19 Rocky Balboa; rotisserie chicken, baked ham, provolone cheese, mixed greens, tomatoes, red onions, light mayo, oil, vinegar toasted hot on either wrap or bread. Cal310 pro30 carbs5 This little sandwich is one of my favorites! Raging Bull; melted mozzarella, tomatoe, pepperoni and basil on your choice of bread, served with a side of olive oil.(It’s a grilled cheese sandwich, I’m not putting down the stats on this one. They have a whole group of grilled cheese sandwiches! The Birdman; free range grilled chicken breast, provolone cheese, mixed greens, tomato, onion on bread or wrap with dijon and spicy herb vinaigrette on the side. Cal309 pro33 carbs12 The only con I’ve seen in this place is chicken tortilla soup, it’s ok, does not look that great. It’s a hearty soup, but it just does not look that appealing. The smoothies and juices look pretty epic as well! I like the smoothie«Sixx» it has strawberries, pecans, vanilla yogurt and almond milk. For a dollar more I will have them add a shot of whey protein(that’s an extra 26grams of protein.) For the juices, I like the«Prodigy»; kale, parsley, lemon, apple, celery, cucumber, and spinach, it’s pretty damn healthy! BTW, i’m not trying to sound snooty but it really is an acquired taste! New smoothie /juice menu available to print from They have healthy breakfasts also! For their breakfast menu, I like the Moose Wrap! Moose Wrap; four eggs, tomatoes, peppers, jalapeños, and spinach served with salsa and fresh fruit. For breakfast it’s pretty tasty! Right now they are open 7am to 9pm Monday — Thursday; Fri7am-10pm; Sat9am-10pm. Sundays they are closed. By now you could tell that I like this place! It is located just a few miles north of downtown Dallas in what’s called Uptown. Hope you get to come down and try this cute little healthy foodie place out!
