I love this boutique, it’s awesome!!! BUT can someone please tell me where it went? The Pilates studio I go to(Beyond Studios) is now where strut was. Which totally put a damper in my little workout-treat yourself with something new routine :(SAD!!! Help!:)??

Well to start off this is not just a shoe store! There are clothes, jewelry and handbags along with shoes. I love this place, never seems to fail me. Amazing sales from time to time. Great quality and reasonable prices! If I do not have an outfit for an event I always make my way over to Strut to find something to wear.

Super cute and super affordable. I have a teen. Enough said… But I will say more. The clothes look like they lifted right out of the fashion magazines but they won’t break the bank. And my daughter loves to try to break the bank. We were not shopping at the store proper, but instead were at one of their cute pop-ups in the Bishop Arts District on Saturday. We were doing mother/daughter brunch at Oddfellows and had a little time to kill around eating. My munchkin got the cutest pair of pink shorts known to man. The other gal bought a super snazzy blue shirt with lace panels, summer dress and denim shorts. We hit the gold mine! This place will be a frequent stop for me when we need more cute stuff! It’s like Vogue on a Forever 21 budget!

I went to college in Austin, so I was a regular at 2 of the boutique locations there. I love their clothes, because they always have some unique things that you can’t find anywhere else and the prices are pretty great considering that, and the fact that they have periodic giant sales! The quality is all over the place, but for a boutique in this price range, that’s to be expected. There are some unique pieces of jewelry, and stylish and practical shoes as well. In my opinion, the clothes are on trend with boho and hipster accents. The Dallas location is not as great as the Lamar location in Austin, but there are still great finds here. Only drawback: the occasional surly salesgirl. Making a trip down is worth it though.

I feel like this review could end up sounding super advertisement-y, but I promise I don’t work at this place … instead I am just doing my part to evangelize it. Strut is a super cute boutique that I am excited has made it to Dallas for shopping trips when I return home there. It also has 3 Austin and 1 San Marcos store. A number of the other similar stores on Lovers Lane such as Elements, Hemline etc are a lot more expensive, but this place is very reasonable and has great sales too. Unilocal has(incorrectly) classified them merely as a shoe store, but they have a wide selection of women’s clothing and jewelry in addition to the shoes/boots. Most of the items are fun, bold, and trendy, meant for people ages 15 – 35 or so. I have admittedly had fairly limited interaction with the sales staff, but they’ve been fine when I did employ their assistance. One girl was nice enough to give me 30% on anything I purchased that day after I was unable to return a scarf from there my mom had bought me for Christmas because it no longer had its tag. She also was very gracious and went into the back like half a dozen times because I was super indecisive about my all the shoes I wanted to buy with said discount. Parking can be kind of a pain in this shopping center, but Strut is worth the hassle; if you are in the area I highly recommend you stopping in this boutique!
