The food is fantastic. Great selection of sushi and other treats. You also get one free bowl of either miso soup with tofu and seaweed or ramen soup without ramen noodles. They changed their name and they don’t accept the little stamp cards anymore.

Woke up and my eating buddy(my sister) went to get her haircut, so I walked to the Plaza of the Americas to get food and stopped here for sushi. Lots of food to choose from! I love eating the sweet potato tempura here, it’s so soft, but crispy on the outside, and always has a good potato to batter ratio. The sushi is mediocre, but VERYCHEAP. Definitely a quantity vs quality place. The place weighs food by pounds and rice separately, so I got about 10 rolls, a cup of fried rice, three shrimp tempuras, a few sweet potato tempura disks, and a free bowl of miso soup for 12 bucks. WHAT A STEAL! The sushi is actually a lot better than some hyped up fancy sushi restaurants, so I recommend coming here if you live nearby, its worth the try! It’s a buffet type place so get what you want(all ingredients are listed above). Also the service is decent, so stop by here for a quick cheap eat!

This place isn’t very good, which makes it even more sad that I come here all the time. However, it does have 3 things going for it: 1. It’s fast — they mainly have self-serve ready-made sushi 2. It doesn’t any good competitors — the alternatives are fast food and long wait times 3. It has free soup — miso or ramen Other than that, they mainly serve imitation crab with a little bit of tuna, salmon, and yellowfish.

It’s located in a food court close to Comerica and many financial institutions in downtown Dallas. The sushi restaurant offers around 12 – 15 types of sushi, nigiri and tempura fried sushi. You can get however much sushi you’d like and pay per lb($ 5.99 I believe, 6 rolls will get to about $ 6-$ 7). The food is fresh and has fast turnover. I don’t recommend the tempura fried sushi because they used too much batter and is just not great if you don’t get them when they first come out. There are 2 free soup you can choose from, seafood or miso. They have green onion, tofu cubes and seaweed for you to add to miso. Very fast and convenient with good sushi.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place! Normally cheap sushi scares me, but this was excellent. And a great value! They also have many different options to choose from. I will definitely be back!

Discovered this place while at a competition at Sheraton Dallas nearby, decided to try this place out for lunch. I love the way the restaurant is designed! You pick whatever pieces you want, and then at the end you weigh it! You don’t have to commit to one roll! I tried most of their tempura rolls and all were great. They also give you free soup and the ramen soup was delish. Will come back if I ever go to Dallas again!

This place is located on the lower level of the Plaza of the Americas. It’s a good court with lots of options and lots of seating. You pay by the pound and can actually get a good amount of sushi for about $ 10 to $ 15. The rolls are pretty standard but very fresh. They have some fried options, dumplings, seaweed salad, etc. The only problem is that if you want any condiments(ginger, wasabi, soy sauce, eel sauce, etc.) you have to put your to go box down and get each of them separately. It’s a little of an awkward process when people are waiting behind you. Maybe they could have some of those pre-packaged so you could grab and go Anyway…a good option if you work nearby.

This little sushi restaurant is located in the Plaza of the Americas building in the food court. I’ve been about three times and really enjoy their food. If you’re a sushi snob, you won’t be impressed by this fare but if you’re hungry and want something quick, then it’s every bit as good as something you would get at an in-store sushi counter. They have a wide variety of sushi and also have sliced breaded chicken and terraki chicken, chicken satay, tempura shrimp & vegetables, fried rice, pot stickers, fried green beans, and a few other things. If you tend to eat vegan, they also have some kind of carrot & cabbage salad that my lunch partner opted for and some very tasty seaweed & edamame salad. They offer a frequent buyer punch card and have free egg drop soup with your order. Food is weighed by the pound. On my most recent trip I spent $ 5 bucks and had a decent lunch! I’ll be back!

Think industrial sushi. It’s fast if you are in the building, but nothing shines. You can get freshly made rolls, but it’s set up cafeteria style. Very generic stuff. The«side dishes» if you want to call them that, are often not hot. I’d like to see restaurant inspectors get here with their thermometers. I say they’d majorly fail in the keeping it hot department. Oh, they have a frequent flyer punch card – if you can stand going back for crappy sushi that often.

This place is awesome for lunch! There are several things that make it great as weekday lunch destination. 1. Convenient location(if you are in the area) and you can walk over to the food court. 2. Fast paced service, walk through and pick your food from the buffet line of sushi. 3. Good food and reasonably priced, pay by weight. Pay for what you eat, makes me think of «you keep what you kill» from the Chronicles of Riddick. 4. Small buffet line dishes, this means the food turns over quickly and is fresh(ish). Now is this upper shelf sushi? Not at all. But it is a good fast food staple sushi place and for a workday lunch fast and efficient. The staff was friendly and quick on the register to keep the line moving. In addition to americanized rolls there is a tempura bar with good vegetable tempura, not too thick and doughy but also not undercooked veggies. The is some nigiri available and sashimi. The americanized rolls were made well and as long as you keep on an eye on what you are getting pretty good. There is also chicken karage and katsu to round out your lunch. I ate here several times while I was at the conference center nearby and would return again if in the area.
