Taco Bell

Went 20 minutes before close and they already put everything up. Said they were closed. Never been to a fast food place that closed early in a Saturday… Just put close at 1 if you’re not cooking past 1:30 anyways

I love this place, the 5 or 7 layer Burritos rock.

Okay, for those that know me they know I don’t write a review for major chain restaurants like Taco Bell. So for me to write such a review you know that there must have been something special.
So to clarify this review is not a review of Taco Bell in general, but instead a review for THIS particular Taco Bell.
The neighborhood this place is in is a bit run down, in a not so great part of Oak Cliff. I’m only really here, because my mother is around the corner seeing her favorite doctor, Dr. Berg. There is only so much I can take of that waiting room.
I came here for just a soft taco and a soda, and a chance to pass the time with writing on my laptop. In fact I’m in the restaurant right now as I write this. No, I don’t think there’s wifi in here, but my 4G connection’s got a good signal.
The restrooms were clean. The tables were wiped. The food was standard Taco Bell quality. That all earns three stars by itself. The extra star was for one particular employee, who went beyond the call of duty. The name on the receipt says «Brigida» but I’m not sure if that’s her name. She took each order with a cheery smile, she delivered orders to peoples’ tables when there wasn’t anyone at the front. She took the time to ask each of the guests how their meal was, and offered to put away trash for the guests.
Brigida, if that’s your name, you’re awesome!

Great food, I like how they are always inventing new tacos and things. You cant beat the 5 buck box you get a burrito, soft taco, gordita and soda all that for 5 $ thats a meal in itself.
