Worst customer service! Answered the phone happy as a Disneyland employee but the second I was hesitate about giving my credit card info, the rep seemed pissed and was really rude. I wanted to make an appointment for singing lessons and asked if it was possible to schedule something that day(since it was still early). the Rep told me no and I couldn’t schedule anything for a week! I have a crazy schedule so I cannot plan anything a week in advance and I let him know. He started to get really pushy with my credit card and said I can prepay. I was only on the phone with him for a few minutes and did not feel comfortable giving him my card number and asked him if I could just set up an account online. He said I could but it’s better to do it through him and again pushed for my credit card info. I told him I don’t feel comfortable paying for lessons when I don’t even know when I could make an appointment and that I’d rather pay when I schedule the appointment. It was like he wasn’t listening to anything I was saying at all and kept pushing for my card info. He became so rude and irritated.. funny how he went from being overzealous to an as*hole in such a short amount of time. then he preceded to tell me that with every single vocal coach anywhere you must pay in advance to have any lessons and that I needed to pay. He said i could pay for all my lessons upfront and whenever i make an appointment I could use my credit. he pushed the credit card along with his bull sh*t yet again. I told him if I don’t know when id be able to make an appointment I don’t feel comfortable paying ahead. He then asked me what I wanted to do so I told him if I was interested I’d call back and thank you. Then he hung up on me. I ended up finding the same vocal coach I was interested in online and made an appointment with her for the same day! I payed less for the hour then was stated on the take lessons website and believe it or not, I didn’t have to pay in advance. Payed right after my lesson! Don’t use this site! You don’t need to. Better just to do it yourself. They do not seem trusted!

I tried to use this website to organize piano lessons for my son, after a few phone calls listening to their sales pitch and time spent researching the teachers I did go ahead a book a month of lessons. Only to be sent an email 24 hours later saying that teacher is not accepting new students anymore. Would’ve been helpful is this was noted on the website. Particularly frustrating since I turned down another teacher after signing up on this website. Only plus side was that I was able to request a full refund. I won’t be wasting my time here again.

I went on line to search for a voice teacher and found this company. I picked out a teacher on line and when I spoke to the business, she was not available when we were. So we went on the recommendation of the salesperson. We could not be more pleased! My daughter has enjoyed her lessons and we have learned a lot about singing. I would use them again.

I am extremely put off by this business and their practices. I went in search of a vocal coach and found one that sounded good in theory on their site . Using their ‘complete this to ask questions’ form I submitted a question I thought would go to the teacher in question. My question was very specific and in no way asked for more details about their company. An hour or two later I get a phone call from . Immediately the little girl(and I say little because she sounded like she was 12) goes into a marketing spiel — all of which I already knew from looking at their website. I stopped her mid pitch and told her I didn’t need a commercial, I needed to ask the TEACHER a question. I submitted a question for the TEACHER while on their site, and wanted a response from the TEACHER. She then informed me that 1) she saw no such question from me — which is bull pucky since my phone number was attached to that submission and the only way she could have gotten it was to have gotten said question. But here’s the kicker… 2) No, she said. you may not speak to the teacher until you pay for lessons. period. Now — they claim to have a 100% money back policy if I pay for lessons and hate the teacher after the first lesson which I am sure is true, but as I explained to her, no sane person pays for something in advance without having done the proper research. I don’t want to ask my question to a random disinterested party, have that person ask the teacher, then get my answer filtered back to me through the grapevine. I want to talk to the actual person to whom I will be giving my time and my money. Just thought you all should know this, in case you are like me and are not comfortable with the situation.
