I really like this gallery. It is located by the beginning of the Katy Trail in Highland Park. It is very close to Javier’s. I found some street parking across from the gate. As I walked in the door, I was greeted by a very nice lady. The lighting and the space have a great feel, especially the back room. Every time I have been here, I have seen a David Bates painting. I love his work. One piece from his New Orleans series was displayed, and it was wonderful. I also saw a Joseph Havel sculpture. His pieces are always interesting as well. I really enjoy his work. I also learned about some new artists, who immediately went on my research list. I look forward to attending an opening here. It’s a great gallery in the Dallas art scene, and it is definitely on the short list of the best galleries.

There are several good pieces worth seeing, however, you will be treated with disdain then ignored when you walk in the door. Very rude and unfriendly art venue. Sad!

When Roscoe drug me here for a small exhibit of Joe Havels I remembered the handsome building, but the art for sale today was solidly good, and for a Dallas collector with money, affordable. Works by Pearlstein and Havel were the main features, and a nice print by Damian Hirst, $ 16,000 would look nice in someones Highland Park dining room. Work from $ 1,500 to $ 6k by notable artists makes this a good local gallery, for perhaps new collectors with a few extra grand.
