**To note: When you are buying a fly rod, I would highly suggest you ask to have them load up the fly rod with a reel and line to test casting the rod! Get the sales person to cast first, notice the «action» on the rod! First know where you are going to fly fish, this helps on picking what weight line/​rod you are trying to get!
Bang for the buck, I really like these rods! The rods have a great feel and great control! I would match them up with a great real reel and line. Even the small/​light weight lines are so cool it will melt in your hands! The small weight lines are so sweet that the feel are so fun! Do check out the rods around the five weight as well! When the winds pick up and you need to punch out a heaver fly across the way, these rods rock and with a great price point!
Fly fishing can get really expensive, watch your wallet, these rods are a great value!
I have fly fished since I was a child and have a bit of an opinion, I would highly suggest you check out these fly fishing rods!

YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE THIS!
I shipped two rods to TFO to get repaired. I also sent in a $ 60 check for the cost to repair the rods. One rod was sentimental to me because my father bought it for me as a gift. The other rod ran me $ 200 on sale at Sportsman’s Warehouse.
I shipped my rods via USPS (which I will NEVER do again). I made the mistake of only insuring the package for $ 50. TFO called me two weeks later and said they finally received the rod package, but there were no rods inside. So basically, someone working for USPS most likely stole my broken fly rods (lucky them huh?).
I called TFO back and asked if I could speak with a manager to inquire about possibly re-​purchasing the rods for cost price. Instead, the woman on the phone said I can pay the $ 60 repair fee over the phone, and they will send me two brand new replacement rods since mine most likely got stolen.
I couldn’t even believe the level of customer service I was provided. I went from being incredibly bummed about losing $ 350 in rods to feeling like I won the lottery.

TFO makes the best fly rod for the money anywhere. My first was a Lefty Kreh 9′ 2-​piece rod I paired with a Ross reel I already had. I was fishing Park Creek at Southfork, CO with a friend who is also a guide & outfitter-​a real Sage snob. A really great guy, but feels his guide customers expect the high-​end brands. Anyway, he tried my set-​up & was impressed by the action, balance & feel and couldn’t believe the price.
I wanted a travel rod & got a «Healing Waters» 4-​piece with case & opted for the TFO reel paired with it. I love the setup and the reel is comparable to any top-​end reel I’ve used.
