I like their wings with the Saigon sauce. It’s delicious!!! A must-try, guys!!! The chicken tender is good as well. Sweet potatoes are good. I think it’s better than the potatoes. The shrimp cocktails has delicious fresh shrimp but the sauce is not really tasty. I think it has too much celery. The sausage in boiling seafood is too fatty. Really fatty. I think they should change to a healthier option. But overall, it is good!!!

Been here about 4x. And let me tell you, their flavoring are not consistent. When it’s good, it’s finger licking good. Other times, it’s just plain bland. The good thing about this place is that the wait is not 1+ hour like Boiling Crab and they actually have a waiting area. The restaurant itself looks pretty clean. They serve margaritas and beer also, so that’s a plus! Hopefully next time when I come here again, it’s finger licking good.

Good environment, great seafood, kinda pricy but worth it for sure! I got the shrimp and crab.

This place was empty compared to Boiling Pot. We liked that there was no wait and it appeared to be clean. We orderd crawlfish, crabs, and oyster ceviche. The crawlfish is same taste as Orchid City sonce samw owner. The ceviche oyster was just not to my liking since on the small side and too tangy. The crawlfish is $ 8/lb and huge! The claws was meaty. My daughter ate most of it. They have disposable gloves if you not wanna get dirty.

I was pretty excited to try this place after reading other reviews. Majority of reviews were positive and very few were negative often saying the crawfish was bland. Unfortunately, i would have to agree with those negative reviews. We ordered sack #6 which comes with 6lb crawfish, 3lb shrimp, 4 clusters of snow crab and corn/potatoes/sausage in extra Shazam(hot). The crawfish heads had some flavor but the tails were bland as can be. The shrimp was even more bland. We also ordered the wings which had good flavor but too salty. On a side note, this place serves beer and wine but no liquor. With all the crawfish places opening up in Garland, I rather spend my money down the street at Boiling crab.

Great asian butter/garlic sauce on their seafood! Shazam level is the perfect heat level… spicey, but not too spicey! And I love spicey! Clean/modern/hip décor. I would say it’s as good as boiling crab without the 2 hour wait! Especially when you get to the bottom of the bag, all the buttery and garlicky goodness is soooo tasty! Kinda pricey per pound but it’s good! $ 9/lb crawfish, but they are big! Corn and sausage is tasty & amazing in that sauce! I would come back! Huge crawfish & shrimp! Snow crab was good! Fish sauce wings were tasty! I like how they give you a bib and gloves! My nails were pristine after eating all that seafood! And you get your own crab cracker too! Service was great and friendly! They even have lobster on the menu! Mostly Asians there but mind you, it’s in asian shopping center. ;p Located next to Bistro B!

I’m always down for some crawfish! This place means business: bibs and gloves provided. I think Crab Station does an excellent job of getting the *yummy garlicky flavor without overpowering the taste of crawfish.* No doubt, this place is going to get PACKED… I’d say it’s in good competition with Boiling Crab crawfish-wise, and I am ready for Round 2 For my CRAWFISHCONNOISSEURS, here’s my comparison: Boiling Crab– better, stronger, thicker flavor(oh lordy that garlic), maybe even too strong… Crab Station– still great flavor, but not as thick and saucy Tasty Tails– lacks flavor –1 All the other stuff: service was bad – waiter was pouring the water oooover us. Cajun fries were kind of bland. Shrimp and grits was waaay too rich and did not look appealing(looked like vomit). I will applaud for seating our 20-person party without wait. That would never have happened at Boiling Crab.

For 2016, this is the best place to get crawfish so far in my opinion. It’s very consistent with good sized, fresh crawfish. The unique flavored wings or baked flavored oysters however, do not get. I appreciate new stuff and sometimes things don’t work out. No worries. But baking really shrinks the oysters and the flavor on the wings are too strange of a combination for me.

Yay for crawfish season!!! Just under Boiling Crab, the Crab Station will be my official go to place when in need of a crawfish fix! I came here with my family on a Sunday afternoon to beat the crowd and luckily there wasn’t a wait. The Crab Station is located next door to Bistro B and within the same shopping center as La Me(another favorite of mine for Vietnamese food). The real question is… What didn’t we order under the seafood menu option?! The seasoning is probably the best compared to the other crawfish joints out there besides Boiling Crab(of course!). The sausage, potato, and corn is a MUST when eating seafood aka Crawfish. We also ordered the seafood gumbo and it’s definitely better compared to Boiling Crab’s version. I wish that they would peel the shrimp completely when incorporating it into the gumbo so I wouldn’t have to worry about being poked in the lip by the sharp edges of the shrimp’s skin. The hush puppies and fries were good too! The shrimp and Gritz were good but it’s a little to rich for my taste buds. Overall, my experience at The Crab station would be rated at a total of 3.5÷5 stars. The food was really good but the customer service can only be described as below average. Maybe the restaurant was understaffed?! Anyways, I hope everyone gets a chance to give The Crab Station a try if craving for some good ‘ol crawfish. I guarantee that you will not regret it!

Crab Station isn’t Boiling Crab, but I guess it’s the closest thing you’re going to get in the Garland area. Best of all, you don’t have to deal with the possible(and most likely) two to three hour wait. That in itself earns another star for me. The current market price for crawfish is $ 8 a pound. Nice, considering the last time I ate crawfish was in Austin, and it was a dollar more expensive. You have the option of seasoning your crawfish by heat, from Weak Sauce to TKO(with three options in between). The sauces are pretty much all the same – they simply get spicier as you raise the bar. I love spicy food, but unfortunately for me, TKO was out, and I had to settle for Flame Thrower. On the sauce: in my honest opinion, Boiling Crab’s got it better. So does my mom, who has spoiled me with homemade crawfish since I was five so nothing really compares anymore. Crab Station’s sauce is SUPER Buttery with a capital B mixed in garlic and a less proportionate amount of seasoning, meaning you’re getting more sweet butter than salty spicy. Maybe try less butter and more seasoning for a perfect, even ratio. I didn’t get to try TKO, but I got a taste of Weak Sauce to Flame Thrower. Flame Thrower’s spicy level was meh. I had to ask my brother to give it a taste to make sure I wasn’t just immune, but he also said the sauce tasted like it should be spicy(whatever that means) but didn’t have any kick as it should. On the crawfish: fresh, meaty, good size, yum. Nothing left to be said. All in all: Crab Station is good enough, but there’s been better. Four stars because there was no wait for a party of 5 on a Saturday night. Would have been happier with a more even and spicier sauce. ‘Til next time, Crab Station.

Absolutely loved this place! It might even be better than the boiling crab. No line and delicious food! Hubby and I drove by the boiling crab only to see there was another line outside the door! I didn’t want to wait of course because my 5 month infant would get fussy. Moms know once we put our babies in a car seat, the timer starts, and we only have a matter of time before we HAVETO take them out. And for wanting to eat crawfish, I knew I wasn’t going to enjoy my meal. So we drove on down to the crab station. The place was practically empty, which worried me about how good, or not good, the food might be. Still we decided to try it out. Looking at the menu, they didn’t have much of kids items for my 6 yr old, but likely I found chicken tenders and fries. As for my husband and i, we decided to share bag no. 1, which was $ 29 that day. We didn’t want to order too much only to be disappointed with our food. Sack no. 1 came with 2 lbs of crawfish, 1 lb of shrimp, corn, potato, and sausage, which seemed good enough for us. As we waited for our food, the waitress brought out a plastic table cloth, bibs, gloves, and a trash bucket. I was impressed and liked the idea of not getting my hands too dirty. Right away, my daughter put her gloves and bib on even though she wasn’t going to get messy lol! Our crawfish came out and from the sight of it, it looked heavenly. Sadly I forgot to take a picture of it cuz I was so hungry and couldn’t wait to dig in! We got extra sauce on the side to dip our food in. You can choose from different levels of spiceyness. Everything was beyond delicious! This was the best crawfish I had tasted so far in the Dallas area. The sauce that it’s drenched is beyond words. I even dipped my daughter’s tenders, which were delicious as well, in it because it was soo good! I highly highly recommend this place. Will definitely be coming back very soon! Also, they have weekly contests where you can win $ 40 worth of food on Facebook. Check them out!

Crab Station will be right under Boiling Crab if you’re talking Dallas crawfish– more specifically, Garland. My friends and I got a total of 13 – 15 pounds of crawfish, two plates of chicken wings, Cajun fries, corn and potatoes(in the crawfish) and some Rockefeller Bacon Oysters. I got the Shazam(which is the hot flavor) and it wasn’t too spicy. The corn and potatoes that came in the bag were on point. My friend had ordered corn too, but didn’t receive hers and when we asked our server(which took 20 minutes to find her), she told us it’d be right out, and 20 minutes later, she would show up with half a corn on the cob. A total of 40 minutes of waiting was pretty bad for just a corn… Maybe it was just the server– I’m not sure. The food came at a reasonable time, but it would’ve been great if we had just gotten sides first– like the Cajun fries, oysters, and chicken wings… Instead, we got everything at once. I will be coming again, but would hope that the service would be a little better/faster.

This place was so good. I’m not from Dallas, so I don’t know which side of town I was on, but GPS will get you there. Okay so it’s located in what seems to be an Asian shopping center that had plenty of parking available. When we arrived there was a 30 minute wait. Waiting area had plenty of seating which was a good thing. In about 30 minutes or so we were sat. We decided to order sack number 3 which included crawfish, shrimp, crab legs, corn, potatoes, and sausage. This particular night the price was 66 bucks. I noticed the price wasn’t on the menu. And that was probably because prices vary. I liked this spot because you actually have a server that comes to the table, and brings everything you need. Refills, buckets, butter, cocktail sauce, etc. The restrooms were clean. They had 2 individual restrooms and a coed sink. I liked the place. Whenever I’m in Dallas this will be my go to crawfish spot.

Crawfish station may be my new favorite crawfish joint! I use to love Boiling Crab but hate the long lines. Then came along Tasty Tails which has excellent food but the last two times I recently went, the crawfishes were over done. This restaurant is nicely decorated. It has the typical seafood shack décor but has a touch of modern with their red and white quatrefoil booth back cushions. They also have a big waiting area. I appreciate the sink outside of restrooms because when eating crawfish, you have to wash your hands and it’s nice not to have to wait in line for the bathroom to do so. The crawfishes were very fresh today and they were also very plump. We tried them in Hot, which was good but wasn’t hot enough. Extremely hot, which was just spicy but lacked flavor. Extra Hot was just right with the spiciness slowing sneaking in with each crawfish you eat. I really like the crawfish flavors, it wasn’t as buttery as most of their other crawfish joints I went to. The oysters were not good though. It tasted like they rinsed it it so you couldn’t taste any of the natural flavors of the oysters. Cajun fries were good. Saigon sauce chicken wings were okay. I don’t mind the fish sauce but I didn’t like the sweetness of the sauce. One of the other best part of the restaurant is that they serve different flavors of Sangria and margaritas, which I think compliments seafood really well. I had the mango passion sangria and my friends had the classic red sangria and mango margarita. We all really enjoyed our drinks. Our waiter was very attentive and nice. The food came out super quick!

Came here with two friends during the week, although it was empty and they plenty of staff we weren’t given menus or a waiter for a good 10 minutes after we sat down which was disappointing. However, our experience got better after the delay. We ordered the asian wings and the garlic oysters, both were very good. We ordered one of the Sack options that came with crab legs, crawfish, potatos and shrimp. It was a good combination and decently priced. The food came out quickly and the best part was that the restaurant had no wait! I preferred the pricing and the flavor to other crawfish locations and most importantly the lack of wait. I’d definitely return when I have a crawfish craving! Great place for no wait and fast crawfish.

My boyfriend and I were very impressed with this place. We actually went two days in a row. The day before Mardi Gras and the day of Mardi Gras. On the very first day that we tried out this place– it was a little later but our server was very attentive and was very helpful with walking us through the menu and answering all of our questions. My boyfriend had snow crab, I had oysters topped with ceviche(very impressed with how massive and fresh they were!) and crawfish. We also shared a basket of Cajun fries which were comparable to Wing Stop fries but not as sweet! I was a little disappointed with the size of the crawfish, being crawfish season and all but the seasoning was very light and less oily than a lot of crawfish joints. We came back the next time during Mardi Gras during busy dinner hours. We still had impeccable service! Although it seemed that the servers didn’t have assigned sections, our server was very accommodating. This time around, my boyfriend tried their King crab and we also ordered some shrimp with extra garlic. The shrimp was juicy, big and not overcooked and mushy. Both experiences left us craving more! Although I’m a loyal customer to the Boiling Crab, one of the best things about this place is that they don’t have a lingering line! We’re actually going today for our weekly date.

Fave crawfish place ever. I wouldn’t compare it to the boiling crab but it makes a pretty good option. Plus there’s never a wait so that’s a huge plus. I usually order one of the bundles consisting of snow crab legs, crawfish, and boiled shrimp. Either with medium or the extra Shazam sauce. The extra Shazam is a bit spicy but still really good flavors. I also like ordering the Cajun fries and the wings. Wings are some of my favorites. Only complaint is that the size of the crawfish are usually really small even during crawfish season. Hope they fix that soon. Other than that, this is my place of choice when I’m craving crawfish.

After seeing so many friends picture eating here I definitely wanted to try it myself. It’s kinda out of the way drive for me being deep in garland, but their crawfish was really good! We ordered the garlic cajun parmesan wings to start off with, they were good and big, superrr cheesy from the parm, but don’t see why they called it Cajun. wasn’t spicy or anything. Nonetheless, pretty good wings. Came with celery and carrots! :) Crawfish was decent sized! We ordered the Shazam sauce(suppose to be medium spice) and to my dismay it wasn’t even spicy. I honestly wanted a little kick, but the really good, garlic-y flavor made up for it. I love that it wasn’t too oily like other Asian crawfish places. My friends ordered the combo that came with crawfish, shrimp, and king crab which looked awesome! My friend loved her king crab legs and it was her first time having it. The shrimp was really big and cooked perfectly as well(not mushy). What I found weird was when asked for Cajun powder to make my lime juice, salt & pepper dipping concoction they said they didn’t have any… But this is a Cajun restaurant lol with Cajun flavored things like fries… ?? Oh well, lol. Service here was average. I would definitely come back here to eat crawfish again and try some of their oysters!

I decided to try this place after circling the Boiling Crab parking lot 3x and still not able to find a single parking spot. So we drove to Bistro B instead. That’s when my boyfriend spotted The Crab Station. Food — 3⁄5 1. 1 lb shrimp with corn — The shrimp was perfectly cooked. They only have one sauce option with different levels of hotness. We got mild and wow, it definitely had a kick. They are very generous with portions here. It definitely looked like more than one pound. 2. Chicken basket — I wish they were seasoned like the chicken basket at Boiling Crab. I really thought their chicken was from Chicken Express. It had the same flaky batter. The fries were like Wing Stop fries, but without the same yummy seasoning. Service — 3⁄5 There were maybe 4 tables around 7pm, but we still had trouble getting our waiter’s attention. Overall, I still can’t decide if I’ll return or not. My boyfriend liked it, but I think we still prefer boiling crab.
