The Owners Box Sports Bar and Grill

Front door says be treated like a VIP. Sadly, not the case unless you are a regular. Sat at the bar, servers barely made eye contact with me and stopped by one time to check on me after food was served. Ordered a burger, it was okay at best. I will check out other places hopefully with more outgoing staff.

I’ve been here 4 times over the past 6 months. The waitresses are super nice… when they check on your table that is…, but tbe service is sloooooow. They are way more interested in the gentlemen at the bar than families and couples sitting at tables. Plus it smells like stale cigarettes and cigars. We have tried giving them the benefit of the doubt, but if you’re serving mediocre food, the least you can do is have attentive and speedy service. Not coming back :-(

DO NOT ENTER! Worst service and food prep in the area. The owner obviously does not care about customer service or quality. Long waits, poor service, and terrible attitudes among staff. «Triple decker club sandwich» had two pieces of meat, no cheese, one slice of onion and tomato, and half a piece of bacon… Not the «piled high» description on the menu. Staff was constantly placing blame on each other for problems… Worst restaurant experience in years.

Food was delicious and service was fine. This was our second time there and although I wasn’t impressed the first time, I am happy we gave it another chance. I had the Green Bay burger and my husband had the Denver burger, we were both happy with our choices. We were regularly going to the place down the street but their stuffed burgers are not near as good as what I had today. Will most definitely be back.

Don’t go here! I really wish I could because the food is really good, but the service is so bad its comical. I have been it three times and all three times the staff is lackadaisical at best and sometimes doesn’t even notice you. Which is really sad because the burgers are really good. If they change staff and get a half way descent server … just one … oh god please just one, I’ll think about returning

While there was nothing here that was just HORRIBLE. .there was also nothing that rated any praise either. The wings were crazy expensive and slightly undercooked with a mediocre sauce. Well over $ 1 per wing. not impressed. Kind of a dingy and dark place that looks shabby behind the bar as well as the dining room. Not a place I will ever go back to.

I stopped by here on a random Saturday. I was pleasantly surprised with the service. I had the turkey burger, which tasted freshly grounded. It was a solid burger, very juicy. However, I added an side salad and the lettuce probably should of been thrown out the day before. Not as crisp as you would expect. We also had fish and chips and it was pretty good too.
Places looks new. Cool neighborhood sport bar. The owners appear to be proud of what they’ve created.

This was my first and last visit to Owner’s Box. It was a Friday night and the place pretty empty. Now I know why… food is terrible and overpriced.
I ordered the wings and fries. My wings were very dry and tough. When I asked about the celery and carrots that came with the wings, the server told me that they were out. The fries were so salty that there was a pile of salt at the bottom of the basket. The kids meals were greasy too.

Wish I could give them a 0 but it’s not available. The wife and I have tried this place out twice and each time we walked in around 4 pm where hardly anyone is there except for the beer drinkers… we sat down in a booth and there isn’t anybody to greet us nor do we see a menu or anybody who gives a flip who we are. We waited for 15 minutes and left. Just yesterday we thought… well maybe the last time was an ‘off’ day so we tried again. Unbelievable… it happened again and there was only one other table that had people but their wasn’t a waiter to greet us nor did we see a menu and the person behind the bar serving the drinkers could have cared less about us. This place is situated in a strip mall where business come and go to die and I’ve seen at least half a dozen businesses come and go there… I guess this place will close down and it won’t be too soon for me. You’d think during these times that a food business would at least care about their consumers… I even sent them an email for them to at least explain what happened and haven’t heard back so now they reap the whirlwind.

Service was great, but there were about 7 people in there. Food is pricey for what you get. The wife and I had their burger, and as I took a bite out of mine, I found a clip for a bag that you would get off bread. After about ten minutes, the owner came out and was very apologetic. In my days in good restaurants, that would have gotten something, if not the whole meal, comped. I guess an apology was enough. Won’t go back there, and if you do, search your food for hidden «extras!.» I could have choked on that
