Went to the little shop in Richardson and the crew was very helpful. Michael helped me out when returning the boxes and had a pretty conversation with him afterwards. I’ll be referring friends to this little spot for boxes in the future. Just remember to ask for moving boxes over retail boxes :)

Great deal on my boxes and they will buy them back. I was too lazy to take them back but it was highly recommended. Lol!

This company closes on a whom so you never know when their hours are. Very unreliable!

I felt that the service and value was good… they even stayed around a lil bit afterhours for me to pick them up. I have not tried to sell them back, we will prob just keep the boxes for all future moves. The people were friendly and the price was reasonable with everything you need for a move.

Highly recommend. Either lightly used boxes that are still absolutely re-​usable or even some brand new ones that were misprints. I’ve used their TV boxes for mirrors, pictures and televisions. Their online deals are often a great option too.
Good service, but sometimes you have to wait a few minutes since they are so busy.

This people are absolutely full of it. I spoke with Nancy on at least two occassions to explain my move to Austin. I scheduled and PAID for my rental of 25 plastic moving crates for a 14 day period and thought everything was moving smoothly. I even called back to confirm that my boyfriend could pick them up since I could not get there before closing. Never once was there a conversation about needing an additional credit card on file nor was there an issue with my using the crates to move to Austin. When my boyfriend comes to pick up the crates suddenly they need to have a credit card on file. I refuse to provide a credit card over the phone so she states «well I will just email the agreement to you and you can confirm through e-​signature». I agree to that only to be called back because NOW there is an issue with my using the crates to move to Austin. I explained to Nancy that although we were moving to Austin, I would be returning to Dallas on Sunday 11÷25÷12 and the crates would be returned on Monday, well before the two week deadline. At this point, she claimed her issue was that she had no way of knowing whether I would be able to return the crates on time since I was using them in Austin… clearly because using them in Dallas does guarantee that they would returned in time. All in all they’ve lost a customer and I’ve learned that customer service doesn’t exist. This happened on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 5:30PM and I signed into Unilocal to post this review before I even hung up the phone. Next I’ll be posting to Facebook so that my 912 friends may read this as well. You have other options for rental crates… Suddath, Green Vanlines, etc.

Excellent customer service. Worked to find solution to my large size shipping box. Great use of recycled boxes. Good quality heavy grade corrugated cardboard not the cheap ones you can purchase new at the chain stores. Great prices.
Recycle, reuse, reduce. Save trees, our lives depend on them.

I recently moved to the Dallas, TX area and needed a place to get rid of all my moving boxes. I decided to use Treehugger Boxes and get some return on my boxes. On 3÷12÷2012, I dropped the boxes off and was told at the time I would receive a check in the mail in about a week. This was a little annoying considering the fact that my boxes totaled only $ 40.00, but I accepted this and left without complaint. It dawned on me after I got back home (I live in Plano) that I was given absolutely no receipt whatsoever. Granted, they took inventory when I dropped the boxes off and had me sign a ticket, but I had no proof other than my own word that I’d done business with them. This needs to change. They need to provide their customers with a carbon copy of what is inventoried. Two weeks goes by and no check arrives so I place a call to their office. I’m told that they have been extremely busy and haven’t had the time to write and mail the check. (Really? It takes that long to write and mail a check for $ 40.00?) They assure me that I will receive my check shortly. Once again, I accept this without complaint and wait for my check to arrive in the mail. Another two weeks goes by and I still get nothing in the mail. At this point, I’m starting to get aggravated. On 4÷6÷2012, I decided to drive back down to their office to find out what was going on. When I arrived I explained the situation and that I expected payment. I’m told they can’t locate my inventory ticket, but are looking for it and will mail me a check as soon as they find it. They assured me at this time that they had no malicious intent to not pay me. They also told me they typically write their customers a check right there on the spot (this wasn’t done for me because they had apparently run out of checks at the time I turned over my boxes). In this situation, an Owner wanting to provide good customer service would have written me a check right then and there and sent me on my marry way. But instead I was told, once again, that I needed to wait for my check to arrive in the mail and, according to their website, checks were mailed in 4 – 6 weeks from the date of drop off. (This is false information. Their website clearly states 30 days.) Another week goes by and STILL no check in the mail. I drove down to their office again today, 4÷13÷2012, and as soon as I step in the door they tell me the check was mailed yesterday. Sure enough, when I got home I found it in my mailbox. All that for a lousy $ 40 bucks (probably spend that in gas driving to and from their office).
In summary, if you want to get some quick cash for your boxes DO NOT go to Treehugger Boxes. It took me nearly 6 weeks to get a check for $ 40.00 (let’s hope it doesn’t bounce when I go to cash it). Also, get a copy of the inventory! It makes me wonder if I ever would have received payment if I’d not been as diligent as I was in tracking it down.

Love the concept of using recycled boxes, and then being able to sell them back to be reused. I was able to work with one of the owners, Nancy, and she was wonderful!
I used their sister business, Serenity Now to help me pack my belongings; they did a wonderful job. The only complaint I have is that they used way too much paper… I had advised them that they didn’t have to wrap my plastic items, or certain plastic/​glass items; that I was really only concerned about a set of glassware that was my grandmother’s. They wrapped everything in paper; even my baby’s plastic bottles. While I appreciate the careful packing, it has made unpacking a nightmare. I have bags and bags of paper taking up space in my new place, alongside the boxes waiting to be emptied. They do not buy back the paper, and I had to pay for it when they packed my items. I am sure the cost wasn’t nominal, but I had requested that they not use so much.
However, I would use both of their services again, and to be honest, if I had the extra cash, I would have them come and unpack my items, as well as take away the boxes and paper. I will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for packing help or packing supplies.

Treehugger boxes is the best concept I have ever encountered for moving supplies. They have just about any kind of box and supplies you might need for your next move. They also buy the boxes back from you when you are done. Since they only sell used boxes you always get a great price.
Please consider this group of earth conscious people for your next move or even if you don’t know what to do with excess boxes you already have.
