OMG We love the Vertskebap :) Fresh beef and lamb ground together and slow roasted on a spit, served hot on fresh bread with impeccable fresh toppings! We love Mediterranean cuisine, and the Vertskebap fills that crave very nicely, thank you :)

Could’ve been great. But in my opinion, the entire line staff needs to be retrained. Terrible customer service, poor serving distribution, a stressful experience as a whole. Look elsewhere.

Great shawarma, so close to actually eating it in Israel. The chicken shawarma can be made perfect if grilled with lamb fat. Next time I’ll try the beef/lamb shawarma mix.

Today was my first time in the restaurant. The staff was warm and welcoming with my ignorance off their practices and food products. The first question when I walked inside is if was my first time. That was great because I didn’t have to stumble around the menu trying to pick something out. The staff promptly informed me of the process of getting food, what they recommend and(which I greatly appreciated) how to save money. I selected the pita with lamb and beef. And asked to taste all the veggies and sauces they had to offer. They were neither rude not did they rush me to make a selection. They smiled and waited to see what I would like and what I didn’t. This was satisfying because most restaurants are stingy with that type of stuff. I order my pita to go and got a couple of sides. All the food was prepared well and and the lamb and beef was seasoned well. It could have too salty but with the fresh ingredients and yogurt sauce they had, my sandwich was really balanced in addition to fulfilling. The restaurants was clean despite customers eating inside. I didn’t look at everything since I was ordering to go. Overall, for my first time the service was quick and enjoyable. I will definitely come back and try it again.

AWESOME! This food is fresh and delicious with vibrant flavors. So many choices to make different entrees. One of few places that offers spice/seasoning options. The staff at this location are friendly and attentive. On my first visit, the Manager even noticed that I was missing the lemon wedges that I’d asked for and brought them to my table! I’ll definitely keep coming back!

Best build your own restaurant. Who needs subway?!! This was seriously delicious and filling. Try the meatballs. I had the pita with beef and lamb smothered in veggies and tatziki, hummus.

3.75 stars —- Not bad. Interesting concept. Mediterranean version of chipotle. Order at the counter and pick either pita, wrap, rice bowl, or a salad… Then add your choice of protein. Followed by whichever toppings and sauce you would wish. I chose the salad and the portion was nice and large. Good options for vegetarian or if you’re looking to increase your veggie intake. The meat was plentiful in both their salads and pita(kebab). The original kebab from the menu had 2 types of sauce. Taziki and a vinaigrette sauce… It made the bread soggy so that was not as good as it could’ve been. The roasted red pepper dip with pita chips was good especially if you mix it with their most spicy sauce on the menu… Assuming you like a little a kick. We were impressed by their service. The people behind the counter were nice and courteous. The credit card machine was not able to charge more than $ 25 per transaction so we had to break up the order. I’m sure they’re working on getting the machine fix.

Really laid back, fresh food and tasty options. Cool staff and good music make this spot a top choice. I don’t think you can find a tastier shawarma on a 20 mile radius. Sweet potato fries hit the spot on any day.

The place was not at all what I expected. I thought it would be a more formal sit down place, instead it is more like a Chipotles. The ambiance is casual and you order at the walk through line and they bring you your food. Even so, I liked it a lot. Once you get the hang of the process it is fun. I got the falafel in a pita. Next time I will get it in a wrap as it all just falls out the bottom of the pita. I was concerned because the falafel balls looked burned but instead they were perfect. Crispy brown on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside. Very good flavor with a bit of kick from spices. I played it safe and got lettuce, tomato, cucumber for my salad and then had hummus inside. It was one heck of a good falafel! I would get it again in a heartbeat. We split an order of sweet potato fries and they were some of the best I ever had. Very crispy and flavorful. Great job to whoever cooked them. I got a root beer but noted that they have some craft beers on tap for only $ 3.99. That’s for next time. I am definitely a fan and will return.

Ugh, so sad to write this updated 3-star review. Verts has now changed their menu and overall concept as they go from«VertsKebap» to Vert’s Mediterranean Grill.” I have no idea why they made the changes they did as this place was so good as-is. Today was our first visit after the menu change took place earlier this month. Gone are the delicious, creamy sauces that made these kebaps soooo good. No more creamy red sauce, garlic sauce, or super spicy red sauce. Kebaps are now called«pitas» and corn has been removed from the menu and fresh red onions changed to pickled ones instead. There is the new addition of quinoa and carrots along with fresh jalapeños(yay!). You now get a very small squirt of sauce on top. As we sat down to eat, I tried to keep an open mind. The fresh jalapeños were good, but they certainly didn’t make the absence of some of my favorite fresh toppings much less noticeable. And the sauce… ohhh the sauce. :(Spicy red, I miss you. The red pepper sauce was awful, I am sorry to say. Chunky, lacking in flavor, terrible on the fries. Customer service here used to be great. We didn’t have that experience today and that could just be a fluke. I don’t think we’ll be back after all the food changes. The sauces were so good on the kebaps and the fries that their removal from the menu makes these«pitas» as generic as all the other pita chains around.

We came by for a quick lunch Saturday afternoon. We’d been once when the place first opened up and we figured enough time had gone by for them to get their stuff together. Well… maybe not. We both ordered the lamb&beef pita sandwich. The young woman behind the counter gave my boyfriend the remaining bits of meat in the container and asked me to wait while they got me «fresh meat». Giving what was left in the bin a shot, we didn’t suggest to wait for him to have«fresh» also. The servers seem confused and fumble around a lot for an assembly line /step by step process. The server at the veggie/sauces station wasn’t polite and skimped on everything. Finally with our fries and falafel and sandwiches in hand we sat down. By now a large line had formed behind us and it was moving slowly. My sandwich was very good, but my boyfriend said his meat was tough and«jerky» like. If the line hadn’t been so long we might have complained and asked for a few slices of the fresh meat. The fries were nothing special, but decently seasoned. One bright spot was the falafel. It’s crisp on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside, and just plain good. However, the tzatziki they served me while tasty, had a giant whole garlic clove in it. I’m glad I caught it because even though I’m a big fan of garlic a whole clove would not have been good. So, I want to like this place. Casual Mediterranean is great, but this place has to get it together. Service wise and food wise. Good prices though!

Postmates delivered kebab on bread. With. carrot slaw, cucumber, onion, red cabbage, lettuce, tomato, and tzatziki sauce So good. Full of flavor and I inhaled it. Bread not even soggy even though I had it delivered. I wasn’t so hungry but literally became hungry after my first bite… nom nom

This place has potential but they need to work out some kinks. It took nearly 30 mins to stand in line and get my food, at 1230pm on a Friday. It was lukewarm by the time they handed it to me, and the falafel were cooked way beyond crunchy, edging toward hard all the way through. The counter has a 4′ tall glass barrier, with clerks who were speaking too quietly to be heard at all. I truly did not hear one word the prep guy said. Plus, then had to stand in line to get out(!) because of weird floor layout with seats blocking the exit and trash can at the end of a narrow exit corridor. Even with all that I’ve been here twice. But they need to get it fixed or we’ll be giving up on them soon.

At Verts, I had the beef & lamb kebap, and it was scrumptious! The sweet potato fries was delicious as well! The service was really awesome! FOOD: 5⁄5 SERVICE: 5⁄5 AMBIANCE: 5⁄5 PRICE: $

I’ve never had a kebap, and it’s been years since I’ve had a gyro because I never acquired the taste for lamb. None of that matters because the chicken kebap is the best sandwich I’ve had in some time, and I’m grateful that it’s offered as An alternative to lamb! Y’all know how much I love sandwiches. They’re my caviar and kryptonite. This one is on my list of must-haves. Anyway, the original dressing with greens, feta, spicy sauce, and dressed cucumbers combined with shaved chicken on some phenomenal bread was just divine. It was healthy, affordable, and delicious!!!

So happy I finally tried this place! Drove by the billboard that advertised this funny named place multiple times last year and made a mental note to try it and it was so worth it! First I love when new developments spring up in Dallas. The star of the new Preston Hollow Village shopping area is the Trader Joe’s but there are a bunch of new restaurants and shops worthy of a try, including this place! The restaurant was very clean with a sleek aesthetic to it. Loved the pops of red incorporated throughout. This is some of the friendliest staff I’ve encountered in awhile. You walk in and they proclaim«Welcome to Verts!» Julie did an awesome job explaining how the place works and what tasted good. I decided to get the snack size kebap with beef and lamb meat and fries. Once you choose your meat and bread, they have suggested«style» combinations for what to put on your sandwich/wrap, kind of like when you look at a burger menu. I didn’t find it that helpful, because the food line is set up similar to Chipotle where you can pick and choose what you want, so I just did my own thing. There are a good number of vegetables and sauces to choose from. You can also add hummus and feta at the end, for free as well. All their ingredients were so fresh and crisp, and the best part is you can get as much as you want at no extra cost. I got all the sauces on the side to try each one and my fave was the red pepper sauce. When I was finished, I couldn’t wait to dig in(hence no picture, my bad), the meat was so juicy, vegetables were very fresh, and the kebap bread was toasty and warm. The fries were tasty as well and for getting a small size it was larger than what I expected, which was great! More fries for me! My first experience here was great! And the price was very reasonable for unlimited toppings, I hope this doesn’t change, the more popular this place becomes. I promise if you come here you won’t be disappointed and will leave with a very happy and full belly!

I’ve passed this place may times and worked up the courage to try it one day. I walked in right at 11. I believe I was the first customer. I was greeted very warmly. I got the snack size beef and lamb kepab with garlic aoli and various veggies they were a little skimpy on the sauce… I just asked for more and they gladly did so… YALLKNOWBLACKFOLKSLOVESAUCE… It was a bigger portion than I thought, even though I wasn’t STARVING. All the flavors together was like magic… yes that’s the adjective I’d use… very fresh and colorful. The place is spotless as well… which is a plus. Next time I’ll try the chicken.

Good selection of natural sodas. Interesting selection of foods to choose from. I got the original vertskebap and it was very tasty. I really enjoyed chowing down on it. the only problem is… for me the spice is too strong. Two hours later I was in the bathroom and all system were clear if you know what I’m saying. That’s no fault of Vertskebap but if you have problems processing very spicy food like I do, be prepared.

This place is unlike anything I’ve had before, and I loved it. Very fast and fresh, my new alternative to Chipotle. Don’t let the funky name scare you off, it’s an easy comfortable place to order and eat. We’ve all had fast casual food, also Mediterranean, and maybe German, but this is a hybrid of all 3. They have wraps, sandwiches and salads, and you can order with your choice of lamb, beef or chicken, roasted on a vertical spit Mediterranean-style.(I’ve only had their salads with chicken — it’s great, why change?) The chicken is moist yet crispy slices cut right off the spit, and they give a good quantity of meat for a salad. You can customize up to 10 or so veggies, but I have them mix everything. The vinaigrette is fantastic and has a nice dill flavor that goes well with the meat, haven’t needed to try the others. You can get sides of falafel and a few other things, but its enough to fill you up without them. They also serve beer on tap, which must be a holdover from their German origins. The staff is really friendly at both locations I’ve visited and they move quickly during lunch rush. I really like this place and I think it’s going to be part of our regular routine.

You don’t even know how excited I am to eat something that resembles a Doner Kebab from Germany!!! Yes it’s a chain, so it may taste like the equivalent of Chipotle to Mexican food, but it’s good! Doner Kebabs are one of my favorite things to eat back in Germany and ever since middle school, I’ve tried to find the same thing back in the states. Shwarma, gyro, they never looked the same! So I’m ecstatic to see this appear in Dallas! I got the beef&lamb(we overheard the guy say it’s 90% beef, 10% lamb aha), various veggies, and the house sauce. Whatever you do, always get the white sauce! It’s a staple IMO. The bread is thin and has a semi-chewy texture to it, not the puffy pita pocket I miss, but still good! I will definitely come back A LOT.
