Vista

Great location is one of the reasons I decided to lease here… although I had been considering other options I’m glad I moved in here. The office staff was very polite to me thus far and have no complaints except for the fire alarm that goes off from time to time.

I have lived in the Vista for a few years now. They finally fixed the problem with the fire alarms but now theft is the problem. The garage originally had a bike rack. All the bikes were stolen. Now they’ve built a bike cage with a door and a code. All the bikes were stolen. People have had items stolen out of their cars, I’ve had items stolen off my vehicle. No steps have been taken to add security. The only response is to file a police report. 24 hour security monitoring video cameras should be a priority for the price they are charging to live here.

Great small community in a beautiful and convenient location. Residence perks are consistently made available by management and the staff is very friendly. I really enjoy living here!

Fire alarms! Ugh! They go off all the time with a different excuse every time. This has been an on going issue since we have lived here for the past 18 months.
After a few months fire alarms have been fixed. Thank you.

Nice apartment. But after 18 months and the fire alarm going off ALL the time, I am fed up. Twice today! Saturday at 8am and again at midnight. Totally unacceptable.
If you want to live in peace, look some where else.
After 50 false alarms, if there ever was a real fire… hmmm, it wouldn’t be pretty.

Beautiful place, excellent location… But extreme fire alarms going off weekly for no reason or lame reasons at ALL HOURS of the day/​night will drive you mad and cause major concern that this continuous issue has yet to be resolved or yet to be taken serious as firefighters leave their post to come every single time and sometimes simply walk in and switch off the sirens and leave. HOW IS THIS SAFE? HOW IS THIS REASSURING?! It’s not.
It’s midnight and here we are sitting outside on the curb across the street waiting for the sirens to stop, the firefighters to leave and to get the ok that the coast is clear. ITS MIDNIGHT! This happens ALL THE TIME!

So, 9 months later, The Vista is not doing any better. I feel obligated to tell you that if you move into this building, you will be subjected to false fire alarms at all times of the day or night, often. I have probably experienced at least 10 in the past year, not to mention a day long police SWAT operation that kept me in my apartment all day, and missing work.(There was no gun! ha!) Here’s the thing: If management would just communicate. Apologize. Tell us what the fire alarm goes off every month instead of blaming it on the building next door, or threatening all the residents that the security cameras will catch us if we pull the fire alarm. Being friendly when people go into the office. Welcome them. This is their home. And you work for them! I am really beginning to think this is the most unprofessional, and least friendly team of leasing people I have ever had contact with, and given that I have been in property management for more than 20 years, that is saying a lot. Visitor parking was taken away in front of the building so that the leasing office could park their cars there. They «TRY» to be nice when you go in the office, but you have to go looking for someone EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. They just seem constantly overwhelmed, and this is a little complex. I don’t know, I still sorta feel sorry for them, because it seems that they are not trained. I always believe the attitude comes from the top. So I am steering clear of ZRS from now on. Sad but true.

So I stayed with a friend in Dallas who lives here. These are beautiful spacious apartments in the heart of downtown Dallas. The one bedroom and two bedroom are laid out very nicely and ample space. Secure parking and secure entry makes it safe spot for anyone. This apartment building is located with in walking distance to several resturants, bars and the American Airlines Center (go mavs! go stars!)
