This is a TERRIBLE dry cleaners! Two weeks ago, I brought a 3-piece women’s suit to the location at Preston and Forest. I was told it would be ready in 24-hours. Nearly two weeks later, the blazer STILL isn’t ready, and nobody will tell me why there is a hold up. I’ve tried to reach David the manager, but he won’t return my calls. If they lost the blazer, they need to replace it, and they DEFINITELY need to give me my money back. I will absolutely never go back.

With their advertised recent hike in prices(I’m not sure how that would affect me as their attendants are not forthcoming), and the lack of friendliness from their staff, I’m fairly certain that I am not going to be using them anymore. I don’t like institutions that make you pay up front, particularly in the service industry as you never know what kind of outcome and unpleasantness you’ll come about when you actually receive the product of your service. Apparently they can keep credit cards on file, though I don’t like the thought of having something that can be charged whenever my name is typed in. They also don’t seem to do a great job on more delicate clothing — in previous dry cleaners that I’ve used they seem to examine what I’m given and based on the fabric or some embellishments they’ll tag it for extra care. These guys don’t seem to care, as I’ve had two shirts come back and noticed after I stripped them out that there are small threads hanging from them because the fabric wasn’t taken care of properly. If you do use them, give them heavy duty things that they can beat about, and don’t expect a quick turn around — usually it takes about 3 – 4 days on average with all of my articles.

Do not use zoom dry cleaners!!! I had a horrible experience, I went to the dry cleaners yesterday at 4PM and dropped off 7 items. They are supposed to offer same day or next day turn around and I was eager to take advantage of this opportunity. I am going out of town for a month business trip and needed at my work clothes dry cleaned by closing time today(7PM). So thats 27 hours… they guaranteed they would be ready by 5PM. I knew I would be working late and might not make it in before close so I asked my dad to go pick them up. At 6PM he arrived at the cleaners and had to argue with the manager for the clothing to be released to him ‚…even though he had the ticket. They returned from the back with 6 of the 7 items but refused to give the other piece. My dad dropped my clothing off at my apartment and then called me about the situation. I then leave work immediately to go over to the cleaners. I make it there at 6:55PM and they are already closed … I knocked on the door and received no answer. Called the phone with the hope that someone was still in the back… no answer and also NOVOICEMAIL! I finally leave at after that and go home to see what items were returned to me to find that 3⁄6 items were still stained and do not look any cleaner than when I brought them in. I paid $ 30 … for 3 sort of clean items, 3 stained items and one item that they refused to return. If you want clean clothing, fair turn around and a business that is open when they sat they will I recommend you go somewhere else!!! If I could give less than 1 star I would !!

reasonable prices but good luck at being able to pick up your order in one trip! If you figure in the cost of gas(not to mention hassle) of making 2 – 3 extra runs to pick up your order, isn’t such a good value. I’ve used Zoom 7 – 8 times. three of those times my entire order wasn’t ready. «we held it back b/c we are still working on the stain…». was told to come back 2 days later. returned 3 days later and item(s) still not ready. I asked why they didn’t call or email me, as they have all my contact info on the check-in slip. They just don’t do that. Finally, went back a week later(1 ½ weeks since i’d dropped off my stuff) and my item(s) were ready. Exact same thing happened to my daughter, who has a different last name. She took her comforter in 2 weeks before returning to college. She made 3 trips to re-claim it. to her knowledge, it had no stains, just needed cleaning. On the 2nd trip she told them she HAD to have it back — cleaned or not — by August 2nd as she was leaving for college the next day. But still, 3 trips… Sure, Zoom smells clean and fresh while you’re waiting, but i can only recommend them for end-of-season cleaning, when you can wait 3 weeks and make ONE trip to pick your items up. If you’re pressed for turnaround time or believe them in their«promise date», you will be sorry.

I do not recommend this place what so ever. I have been in three times and the lady working the front counter could care less about her job and for that matter you. Recently I dropped off dry cleaning on Monday, went back on Wednesday and it wasn’t ready; so no problem I’ll swing by on Thursday. Then, Thursday came, and it still wasn’t ready. I told the same person working the front counter that I must have it by Saturday and that I would be back, in which she promised it would be ready. On Saturday, the third time of going by, I swing in and the same lady said it still wasn’t ready along with an eye roll from her. Kind of like I was doing her s disservice of coming by. I even mentioned that she promised it would be rady in whcih she responded i just work at the front… Since I had to have it, I asked if I could take it as is. Long story short DONOTGOHERE! This wasn’t my only bad experience but just the icing on the cake to not come back.

In my(want seems) never ending hunt for a regular dry cleaner, I decided to give Zoom a try. What caught my eye? Location(to/from route to work) and they RECYCLE. Why don’t more dry cleaners do this? I dropped off 15 men’s shirts and a pair of pants. A little higher than my normal subarbian prices($ 1.59/shirt), it was very reasonable for Uptown. What I really liked was the cleanliness inside. Both cashiers were very polite and prompt. I was told I could pay on pick up. I even asked if I provided my own hangers, if they could hang my clothes on them. I was told«sure, if we aren’t too busy.» Another plus. Definitely going to give them another chance but I’m hoping my hunt is over.

This place is fantastic! The service from the new ownership is outstanding and incredibly friendly! I recommend them to all of our park cities friends! Please ignore the one negative review. It’s the product of a disgruntled ex employee.

This is my new place for great prices on dry cleaning! I used to go to the big drycleaner in town and after realizing a dress cleaning was $ 15+ I knew I needed a change for my WALLET! I drive by ZOOM on my home every day, so I gave them a shot with just a few things at first, then I was hooked! It’s convenient, well priced, and they do a great job. The new manager, David, is friendly & super helpful. I trust them with my khakis AND my evening dresses. Great value without sacrificing quality!

Worst place ever! Was great when Nadia was there. But now the two guys are awful– they know nothing about cleaning, asked if a scarf should be cleaned or laundered, clothes are never ready and they are never at the front to check clothes in. Always a wait. Customer service awful! Keep driving if you are nearby– not worth it. And they are trying to charge $ 3.75 for some items and not telling customers. Sign says $ 2.75 for all items. Shady to say the least…

Love this place! By far the best value in the area. Flat rate $ 2.75 per item just pay as you drop off. They also offer some great options to avoid all the plastic and paper that typically comes with dry cleaning service.

Used them for the first time last week and had a great experience! I dropped off 4 items around 1pm on Friday and they had them ready by 11am on Saturday. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and they even called me when my items were ready to be picked up. The fact that they have a flat fee of $ 2.75 regardless the item(with the exception of leather/suede/household items) is a big bonus because I’ve been lured in before by the dress shirt specials and then charged like $ 8 for a dress or extra if the shirt wasn’t made of cotton. Don’t even get me started on the amount I’ve paid to get my suits cleaned. For those reasons I feel like $ 2.75 an item is a dirt cheap steal! I like being able to know how much I’ll be charged simply by the number of items I have. Will be going back and recommend others definetly check it out!
