To start with, I would give my server’s name, but we haven’t seen him in so long, I can’t get it. We have been sitting here for 30 minutes at a minimum out of drinks, waiting on our check, and would like a small to-go box BUT our server keeps passing by avoiding us. No one stepped in to help. I had to go to the register for assistance. The most I got from the manager was a pitiful apology and my check. They were slightly busy when we arrived(5 minute wait for a table), but but the end of our meal, it was very slow. Order taken and filled satisfactorily, one drink refill of a ½ empty glass and then our server disappeared. Oh he could easily show up to deliver our check after I get the manager. Be warned! If you get a male server with a beard and his hair in a small bun(name possibly Luis from information on the check) ask to be seated elsewhere. It’s terrible to have the service detract from the decent food.

I visited this Cracker Barrel at the right time. It wasn’t busy so I was able to get a table as soon as I walked in. The service by my waitress was very attentive. menu items ordered were: green beans, pinto beans, corn, turnip greens, corn bread, biscuit and of course a sweet tea. All this food was country cooking at its best. I got chow chow for my pinto beans and pepper sauce for my turnip greens. It turned out to be a perfect combination. I’m definitely coming back here on my way to Atlanta to eat. I want same parking place, same waitress, same table and same food.

Biscuits sucked. Like hard little rocks and not warm at all. Service was sub par. Lacking southern hospitality. Won’t be going back to the dalton Cracker Barrel. On a positive note, the grilled roast beef was good but not the sides. Butter was soft so that was good too.

Ok, here’s the deal on one star. Normally I truly love each and every Cracker Barrel. They always have great food and friendly service. They did both, however they served my chicken livers to another table and the waitress quickly discovered her mistake and pick it up and came over to my table. She was very appalled by what she’d done and said she’d get another plate. Now here’s what upset me. She took the plate back and another person within 30 seconds or so brought out that same plate to me. I guess they thought I couldn’t count. NOWAYCANTHEYCOOKANOTHERBATCHOFCHICKENLIVERSINTHATSHORTOFTIME!!! I’m just upset to think I could buy into that. I didn’t say anything to cause a ruckus, I just enjoyed my meal. Whew, brother maybe it was because I was over 65 they could fool me. The funny thing was if she would have just sit that plate of chicken livers down originally I would have been good with that. I took a picture of the a ledge chicken livers lol

Seriously, you knew what you were getting into before you parked in the lot. Is there a bad Cracker Barrel? NO! This place gave us fast service and delicious, hot breakfast. I do like eating here, where ever here might be. They are all the same.

It is a cracker Barrel, If you can get out of there with your wife spending less in the store than you did on your meal your doing okay. Food is very good, and consistent from place to place. This is what makes this place good. Love to sit by the fire, and relax, Don’t be in a hurry when you go, because this is not a quick kind of place.

I’m a big Cracker Barrel fan, and I’m here on business. I came in on a Friday and only had a 10min wait. I recieved service right away, and my food came out so quickly! Very friendly service and the food was spot on. I had the chicken and dumplings and it tasted homemade. With two sides and cornbread I certainly did not leave hungry. All under $ 10 too. I couldn’t leave without checking out the fun store too.

We arrived to a full house with an estimated wait time of 15 minutes. Waited around 30 minutes. Which wasn’t ideal but considering it’s Saturday we understood. Our server named Sabrina C. Greeted us immediately as we noticed she was triple sat. She took our drink order and brought it back very quickly. Our food was amazing! We ordered a sunrise sampler and the double meat breakfast and our son ordered a kids chicken finger meal. This server went above and beyond what I would consider Cracker Barrel policy. She was overly positive and provided gracious customer service. We even noticed she started cleaning random messes that most would say, «that’s not job». On top of that, she brought my son a piece of cake and ice cream on the house for his birthday. I pray she moves up to management as many other servers on this facility could learn a lot from her. Kudos to Sabrina.

Small town… Must have a «solid» for a restaurant while traveling. After asking multiple locals and trying over 10 restaurants in town over the course of our 4 day stay, it is evident that there is no «local flavor». Stick with the chains, you will be just as disappointed as usual. Cracker Barrel is fantastic in situations like this. Good all around and diverse menu. Good selection of University of Georgia gear, though we are not from GA.

Consistency is key and this location is as good as most the others. Chicken and dumplings were good though the dumplings were a little doughier than I would have liked. Too, and this is for ALLCB locations, I wish they would put MORECHICKEN in their dumplings. Is that asking too much? If I talked about chicken and dumplings in all reviews I wrote for CB, I would have to make this comment. Add more chicken! Either that or make sure every portion has a given amount and it be more than what winds up in a serving currently. Did I mention the dumplings were a tad doughy. Anyway, the fried okra and the pintos were good as always. Yesterday, cabbage was the veggie of the day. Not good. It appeared as though bacon had been boiled with the cabbage; and perhaps the cabbage was a little over boiled too? No matter. I am NOT a fan of this locations current cabbage. The good news is that there is probably plenty of other good, better stuff on the menu for a side. I understand the biscuits here, at least for dinner, are really quite good. Of course, after our biscuit experience at the Cleveland location earlier in the day(Yes, we ate at two locations in the same day.), these could only be better. If you’re coming down out of TN, stop off at Exit 333 and have yourself a bite a this location. It’s not bad at all.

It’s a chain! The foods always good, it’s hot, it’s fresh, what more can you ask for?!? This location though– it’s very very clean and the staff is super nice!

I thought the place was cute. It’s nice to have a place to shop/window shop while you’re waiting for your table. I came in the afternoon and it was packed. After about 15 minutes, we were seated. Our waiter was extremely friendly… and how do i put it… very open. He opened up to us with his life story and how he was put on this earth to serve. Very friendly man. I got the sampler plate which came with meat loaf, ham, and chicken and dumplings. The chicken and dumplings was AMAZING and some of the sides were delicious. I was not a fan of the okra, but the macaroni, mashed potatoes, and brocolli caserrole were delicious. The apple cider was really good as well. The ham was way too salty– I got country style which the server told me people thought was too salty and he was right. The meatloaf was pretty good… but it’s hard to screw up meatloaf! Overall, good experience, I’d definitely come back.

Always good food. One of my favorite places to eat. NOT five stars-not the price either. You may not want to write home about CB but you will have a good meal-usually for about ten dollars. Everything very good. ~ Lunchtime on Sundays after church is crazy. Be prepared to wait. Other times are usually quick seating. I love being to get breakfast food anytime they’re open.

Great breakfast food anytime of the day. I really don’t think I have ever had anything other than breakfast in all the years I have been eating here. One word of advice… DONNOTGOONSUNDAY. this has to be their busiest breakfast /lunch day and half the time we decide to go there it turns out to be Sunday… go figure. It will be packed and you will have to wait.

My husband and I asked a Georgia native sitting next to us on the plane before we landed in Atlanta, «What’s some good southern cooking we should eat?» His best answer was to go to Cracker Barrel. I’d been to Cracker Barrel once before in Virginia. This was my husband’s first CB experience. Wow, the service we got from a young man was highly commendable. He was polite and kept checking on us without being obnoxious about it. He got a very sweet tip! The food was OK. My husband said he’d had better Chicken Fried Steak and my Chicken Dumplin’s were OK. It was all good, but nothing rave worthy. I had to give Sweet Tea another go, and their tea didn’t cross my eyes and put me into a sugar coma, so I was able to enjoy it. The General Store part of the restaurant didn’t turn us on. It’s a good place to spend a bunch of money on some cute stuff. Some of the food items were very tempting, though. The prices were very reasonable. So if you’re hungry and want a good deal from some pretty good food, this is a good place to fill up.

day 35 why did no one tell me about this awesome wonderland? its a general store. no its a restaurant. no its both! its like awesome and rad at the same time! the store has a lot of cool goodies. the restaurant has amazingly good and cheap food. good old american food. funny how you can’t get real american food in los angeles… i got fried apples, carrots, salted ham, meat loaf, mash taters, chicken and dumplngs, corn bread, and biscuits. oh my! welcome to the country of flavor. and 7 short mins later the devastation. my server was so good. young kid. but how courteous he was, man you probably can only find that in the south. or deep south as i only know one guy that courteous and he lives in new zealand. he made my day. so did the food. cracker barrel is the omgosh good! now i have energy to drive 15 more hours!!! but this trip made me realize, man i eat really fast and i eat a lot! i almost disgust myself. i sent a friend a pic of my food, 7 mins later the empty plates pic. she told me she seen me eat, i dont chew, or breathe, just inhale… ps: they take credit cards. you don’t gotta ask like i did. another thing. driving with sprained ankles suck!!!
