This was a great find for us and we highly recommend! We were out running around and decided to try something new, so we jumped on Unilocal and started looking for something interesting. We found this place and thought this sounds promising. So we located the restaurant and had a wonderful lunch. The hostess/server was very friendly and helpful. The«menu» is very simple and makes for a much better and affordable experience. We both ate for less then $ 10. This little restaurant was similar to ones we visit in my husbands home country so it was nice to enjoy some home-cooked food!

Great grilled chicken! No menus because that’s all they have;½ or whole chicken that’s been wonderfully seasoned and grilled. You get rice, beans, and tortillas. Seat yourself and self serve salsa bar to load your chicken down.

Best grilled chicken around! Service is quick and the food is out before you know it. Very limited but exceptional menu. If you are hungry for grilled chicken then this is the place for you

One of my favorite places. They do one thing and they do it well, roasted chicken. I love that there isn’t a menu. I love taking visitors to Dalton there. A gem in the rough.

My brother turned me on to this place a while back. They only serve chicken with a choice of rice and beans, but it is excellent. It’s also very cheap at around 8 dollars for a half chicken with the two sides. The outside of the restaurant doesn’t look like much and it isn’t in the best part of town, but the inside is nicely decorated and the staff is friendly.

My father raved about this place months ago. I generally don’t like chicken, so I refused to drive to Dalton to eat somewhere I probably wouldn’t like. Now that I HAVE to be in Dalton, I finally tried the happy chicken. I liked it, even though I had to park across the street in an abandoned gravel lot and worried the whole time I was eating that my car would be towed. You have two options at this restaurant: half a chicken or a whole chicken. There is a small bar with salsa, cabbage, onions, and other garnishes available, and you can order rice and beans(refried or black). I basically made tacos with mine. It was messy, but I devoured my food as I sucked down my mango juice. Luckily, my car was still there when I left the restaurant.
