My wife and I had dinner here 6⁄14. We both had nice meals and had a lot of fun. I had found a $ 5 Red Lobster gift certificate from back in the 80’s. I asked our waitress, Hannah, if I could use it. She said she hadn’t seen one like it before and that her manager would love to see it. John, the manager came to our table and we had a few good laughs about the age of the certificate. He said he collects that type of memorabilia and gave us credit for the $ 5. He kept it to show his regional manager. We were impressed with the friendliness of the staff and will make sure to back when driving thru. Also, they had the best Caesar salad that I had in years. Tom H

Red lobster is pretty consistent around the US. Unfortunately for me they don’t offer lots of non-water based animal options. I ordered the burger. All of the components were nice. The burger was cooked to the point you could be assured it would never walk again. I sure wish they would ask how you want it prepared and then execute it. The service was good. The place was clean. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Great service today! Our waitress Jennifer was very attentive. The food was delicious. It is the first time we have been to Red Lobster in a while. We will not be strangers for so long next time. Can not wait till pay day.

Oldie but a goodie. Great service even though I am a single. Jeff P was very pleasant and responsive. Food was delivered in proper time. The Pick Two, of coconut shrimp and shrimp alfredo, was really good, prepared well and more than I could finish. Biscuits fresh and hot. 10 out of 10!!!

I have never been disappointed whenever dining at a Red Lobster restaurant until we dined at the Dalton branch. We love the cheesy rolls and I always order Calamari as an appetizer but both were so disappointing that the experience of that meal just needs telling. The rolls were far from the quality of those I’ve enjoyed at other Red Lobsters and when I order fried Calamari I expected Calamari-not a 70⁄30 mix of FRIEDVEGGIES with a small portion of the Calamari. What doesn’t that establishment get about offering a what customers demand and not portion controlled by substituting VEGGIES for heavens sake. To be honest that meal I describe to you, the readers visiting this page was weeks ago and I have labored over whether or not to post this scathing report because I don’t like petty picking and feel that people should draw their own conclusions when they dine out. But I decided that people need to be forewarned that this Red Lobster is clearly not the same caliber you’d expect from a Red Lobster.

Being from the Boston area I’m used to an abundant amount of fresh seafood restaurants to choose from. When I visit my family in Dalton we always go to Red Lobster and although it is not exactly the same as eating next to the boat that caught it, the fish & lobster are very good here. I would recommend them to anyone. We have eaten there a number of times & never did a Unilocal review-time to fix that. I had the shrimp tacos which had a great cilantro flavor plus a bit of a kick. I tasted the lobster pizza — delish! The lobster bisque had lots of lobster meat in it(better than the bisque I just had last night in a MA fish house). Fried shrimp platter really good, not overcooked. May I suggest asking for tartar sauce because for some reason they only give you cocktail sauce. The prices are reasonable, the service can be a bit iffy though but you can overlook that because the staff is friendly, polite and eager to please. And of course, who can not love those biscuits! One more suggestion-you can order a lobster tail on the side but it can apparently only be cooked grilled not steamed and they would not steam it when asked. Can steaming be an option?

I do like Red Lobster. This one was pretty good. Our food all came out in a timely manor and was hot and tasted fresh as seafood should be. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive.

Passing through to FL, decided to stop for a bite; haven’t been to Red Lobster in a long while. Wait was 45 mins(Saturday evening @ 7p), but was able to sit at the bar immediately. Service was awesome; better than most places we go. Everyone was happy, pleasant and staff worked well together as a team. Food was very good and prompt. My BF had fried shrimp and I had the grilled trout; both very good. We were in and out within 30 minutes with full bellies. Bathrooms were clean as well. Recommend if you are in the area. :-)

Stopped in Sunday just before dinner and had a short wait. Friendly staff as always and great food. I had a couple of orders of scallops(fried) and shrimp scampi it was delicious. My wife had the rock lobster which she said was excellent. The cheddar biscuits were hot a fresh. We eat here about every other week, most of the time for lunch. If eating lunch try the sailors platter for a great deal on a delicious meal.

I’ve also noticed how clean its been each time that I’ve visited. I will definitely be visiting again in the future :].

When can you ever go wrong with Red Lobster? Not when it’s Crab Fest and they bring you crab til to can’t stand it anymore. What about Shrimp Fest? Can’t go wrong there either. We head«strait» to the bar. Scott is the usual bartender, who has been with his signifigant other for like 19 years now? He doesn’t mind to tell you a thing about his life partner. It just makes the Tom Collins that much better. Oh-and the massive Lobsterita’s too. My son loves the Shrimp Scampi, he can eat 4 portions and nothing else… by himself. All that crab, all that shrimp and all that drawn butter, Lord take me now. The wait staff is okay, enough drinks and it won’t matter. The wait time on Friday and Staurday is about an hour to an hour and a half… what do you expect, we only have one Red Lobster. Sit back, unbutton your pants(under the table) and enjoy!
