The Smoke Shack

We were all extremely hungry after a long day of moving. My dad picked up the food and brought it back. So I can’t critique the facility.
The okra was excellent. Even when it cooled down it was super tasty. That’s not an easy thing to do. The rest of the food was simply lackluster. Everything needed extra sauce and seasoning. Apparently it’s just a Dalton thing to under-​season food. The extra sauce and salt didn’t help much. Shear hunger made the food disappear.

I arrived at this place with a very hungry 10 year old girl and her 14 year old brother.
I was very hungry after a long flight and only peanuts to nosh on. Thanks Southwest.
Georgia BBQ is a dark dry rub. It’s not my fav but certainly very good.
We shared the smoked chicken wings.
It’s not easy to get the right amount of smoke flavor in food.
These folks have it just right. Really Fantastic.
I was surprised with the cheap blue cheese and ranch. Not good quality.
The sauce with it was molasses based and very good too.
I had the baby back ribs. All the meat fell off the bone with ease.
The coleslaw and potato salad are home made and yummy.
Very nice size portions.
Even with hungry kids and me we only ate about half the food.
We will have leftovers for lunch tommorow.
You will not be sorry.
