Benjamin Franklin Intermediate School

Great principal in Mr. Parrish, who really cares about the students. For a public school, they hold very high standards and they really value good education.
During these hard times, we always hear of school districts cutting back in Sports and the Arts… not here. They really value everything, which they should, and it just enriches the students’ experience… albeit a short one, it will be truly memorable.
And speaking of the Arts, they have a great Band Teacher, Mentor, Conductor and Person in Mr. Servantez. He took this program and made these students from Daly City dream big. By big, I mean nationwide. For two years running now, he has taken these kids and competed with other bands from middle schools not just in the Bay Area and California, but in the entire United States.
And guess what? They have taken the Gold Rating for two years in a row. Oh yes, all the kids, parents and students in Daly City were cheering and supporting them on during their competition in a far far away place called Fremont. And yes, we represented, and we were the loudest.
This school have their priorities in order. Oh, can you tell by this review that my kids go here?
