Duo Dance Academy

An absolute gem to the community. Megan and Leah are amazing teachers. Their background, training and experience make them masters in the field of dance. Daly City is truly blessed to have their dance studio. My daughter has been taking lessons from them for a year– and absolutely loves it.
It’s a wonderful way to get your kids active, engaged, socialized — all wonderful life skills. Along with introducing them to fine arts.

This place is great for dance classes. Offer many types of dances… Teacher so so great with the kids.
Lost a star cuz of parking lol… So happy that my niece can dance … Hahahaha

Little tiny dance school in Daly City. Teacher Leah is super friendly and they offer tap, ballet and some other dance classes. At the end of each semester/​session, kids can attend a recital to show off what they learn!

Excellent ballet studio for my little girl. She loves going to class here. Ms. Leah is a very patient, caring, and talented instructor. I highly recommend this studio for ballet. The highlight for me is the 2 annual shows: 1 winter holiday show like the nutcracker performance and 1 start of summer performance. Watching the show, seeing the elaborate costumes, the excitement on the children’s faces and the different dances performed is amazing! Great job, Ms. Leah!

Very small dance space.
I took an adult ballet class there a few months ago. I guess the regular teacher was out? The young girl who led the class was cute, but I can’t say she led ballet. It was more of a modern dance class with bits of ballet movement in it That wasn’t even the worse part. The worse part was that she ended class 15 minutes early and said to the class of four of us, «oh, you don’t mind if we end right? You all want to go home right?»
I haven’t been back and do not intend on going back.

It is one small room dance studio with plenty of parking especially at night time. I took Zumba with Ariana there and there was about 12 people which was comfortable but yet I can see how it can get cramped there.

Parking in this area is relatively easy, which I’m happy about. I came to Duo Studio for a Zumba class, and was running late. Somehow I found parking right out front and I could keep an eye on my car throughout the class.
The studio unfortunately is quite small compared to other studios I’ve been to. The Zumba class was packed (about 25 – 30 ladies) and I felt a bit cramped, even though the instructor somehow fit everyone in somewhat comfortably.

Small tiny dance studio tucked away in the Mission Top of the Hill area. You would not even know about this place unless you’ve done some research on them. Good thing for me, this place is less than 5 minutes from where I live.
I’ve started coming here for my daughter’s tap/​ballet class for tots every Saturday morning. The dance instructor, Ms. Leah, is super nice and extremely patients with all of her students. I give her the upmost credit for being able to handle a class with little ones jumping all over the place, but she manages to do a great job. My daughter loves going to class every week.
I recommend this place for any parents looking to take a breather from the standard weekend schedule to give themselves a little coffee break while your kids work up an appetite or tired themselves up before nap time.
