Rude staff and managers, bad customer service i tried returning an item but they refuse to why? Beacause they dont wanna lose their commisions.
The managae rhere embarassed me infront of a lot of peope.

Not my store at all. I remember when this store first opened here and I gave it a chance and I was disappointed. Since that time I have given this place numerous opportunities to change my mind but the selection of shoes is just not appealing. It is definitely a «Journey» trying to find quality shoes here. Idk. Good luck to all of you that give this place your time and money.

I just had a great experience at this store. I’ve always been a fan of Journey’s, but today I had some excellent customer service.
I came in looking for a new bright pair of Vans, as mine have gotten old and are starting to fall apart. Tamara (I think that’s her name?) quickly asked how she could help me just when I decided I wanted to try a pair.
I asked her to get me a size 6 (I usually run between a 6 and a 6 ½). When she comes back with BOTH a 6 and 6 ½, right when I entertained dropped the idea of asking her for one.
As I tried the 6, she laced the 6 ½. As we walked toward checkout, she mentioned socks were $ 5 off, which was a great up-​sale, especially because I am the Queen of Lost & Damaged Socks.
As I’m checking out, she took the time to double check that both shoes are the right size. I was so surprised to get such great service, but it really made my day.

I love Matt and Allen! They helped me get some Heelys for my kids. They were very patient and sweet. They have the best customer service ever. Good job!

I bough 4 items (2 vans t shirts and 2 shoes) last week and when I tried to exchange the other shoe today for a backpack the guy gave me an attitude … I even pushed to be friendly by saying… «hi Mat»…he then called the other guy to do my transaction. The guy said «I love returns» in a sarcasm way. I tried to make conversation by saying they’re way too big for me and I would like to make an exchange for that… pointing to a backpack… he acted like he don’t understand me by staring at ME. So when he handed my cash, I’ve asked. that if he can only just put it back in my ATM. He said that if its DEBIT he can only do cash transactions. So I lost my appetite and took my cash and left.
If they handled the transactions differently, I would buy 2 more shoes… Haha!

Sergio and Victor are excellent with customer assistance and they are super friendly. Great selection of shoes too!

I searched a bunch of stores for these particular pair of shoes for work. Journeys had them! I was so happy. I called ahead of time and had them put on hold until I got there. I came in, tried them on, purchased, and walked out! The three people working there were nice and helped me right away. Good job, journeys at serramonte!

First thing I noticed when I walked in was one of the employees, bringing several shoe boxes out and helping a customer, greeted me with a smile and said he would be over to help me in just a sec. It really makes my day when sales people are friendly and really eager to help. The sales guy helped one of my friends find the right size, and even though they were sold out in the style I wanted, he helped my find one that looked similar. Awesome customer service, and sick ass shoes. A little pricey, but hey, what isn’t? Will definitely be returning here

It’s amazing that in this day and age and the state of our economy that I had to beg for assistance to spend money. When I walked in no one greeted me and the shoe that I wanted they only had in brown.
I asked them to take a look in the back to see if maybe there was black pair, the brother looked at me crazy and deferred to the little Philippino girl. She acted as if she couldn’t be bothered even though I was the only one in the store.
She quickly replied «yeah that’s our only pair they are old and our last one of that style» I then asked if she could call the nearest store, she was reluctant to do that as well. I liked the style of the shoe so much that I almost purchased the brown pair, and if it weren’t for such as poor attitude by the staff I probably would have made a purchase.

i love journeys cause they carry heels, boots, kid shoes, clothes, and sneakers. i found these cute boots but they didnt carry my size. the worker was really helpful and greeted me once i walked in.
