First I must say that it’s interesting that«Sean P.» would review his own company, saying he was the perfect DJ for his wedding. Did he DJ his own wedding? Sean P. is the owner of OBP, by the way. Sorry Sean, but the truth must be known. Sean Patterson of On Beat Productions DJ’d our wedding this past weekend. Although I gave him a $ 100– tip and thanked him profusely(I’m too nice — and didn’t want to stress myself out any further), we were unhappy with him the entire time we worked with him. ESPECIALLY considering he played the WRONGSONG as we walked back down the aisle after being announced as husband and wife. Also, he was late and didn’t start playing any music until 4:30, when our ceremony was supposed to start. Our contract stated he should have begun playing music at 4pm sharp. In addition, he requested to stop playing music at 11pm, and our contract stated he stay until midnight. Due to guests leaving and us being tired, I agreed with him, but then he only gave us $ 50 off of the entire contract bill. Hey Sean, you forgot the half-hour in the beginning too. Also, he was impossible to get hold of and was difficult to make a meeting with prior to the wedding. He kept the music going pretty well because I was on the dance floor the whole time, but I’ve seen better. He was slightly too mellow for our tastes. Sean, if you’d like me to delete this review and write another one that is more positive, I would be happy to do so. I’m not afraid to write more reviews elsewhere. But I would appreciate a monetary contribution to my wedding fund if so; perhaps a return of the tip plus a little extra that we gave you due to breach of contract.
