Is it closed? I loved their food and the service was nice. The chicken biriyani, naan and chicken tikka masala were the norm for me.

Chicken biriyani is my jam. I order it and it last me for lunch and sometimes even dinner the next day as well! It’s lots of food :) I enjoy the fact the food is quick and the service is very nice. I like that it’s nearby, there’s parking, and honestly not a long wait. Order a mango lassi while you’re there!

By far, this place is number 1 in service, food quality, and overall value. For those who want to get into the restaurant business, you should come take a look at what they are doing. $ 5 for great tandoori wraps are the way to go. Bring your ID and don’t forget about HAPPYHOUR. Order that large beer(no its larger than a 22oz), its about two big glasses of booze for only like $¾. This is my go to spot. I have only been disappointed once on a to go order but this place is really consistent. Food is great, check it out yourself!

Came to tandoori oven because that is the only Indian place around the neighborhood. We ordered seek kebab($ 6.00 for three tiny pieces which is way over priced compared to other places) and it tasted very blend and not hot at all! The seek kebab is barely warm so I bet it has been sitting in the kitchen for a while. Totally sucks. Over priced and doesn’t taste good at all. Now it is entrees. I got the chicken tikka masala dinner plate for $ 11. Again, very disappointing. These guys doesn’t know how to cook delicious Indian foods. Rice is too hard and dry and the naan is barely warm! I am very disappointed and don’t get how it is rated 31⁄2 star. Definitely wont come back again. My worst Indian food I had so far(I love Indian foods).

If you are a student, you already know about this place. If not, listen up. They got $ 5 wraps that will blow your mind. I love their chicken wrap! I always ask for extra mayo and it’s amazing. It also comes with a side salad. I always go for the potato salad. I have to say I don’t enjoy their curries much because I don’t take heat well but it’s also $ 5 when you order it a la carte. Love their bottomless chai too! Service is always friendly. Remember to bring your student ID!

The naan was not good after 15 minutes — it was like cardboard pizza. I don’t know Indian food well enough to say if they are authentic or not. But I enjoyed the Lamb Biriyani and the mango lassi!!! The samosa is ok — tasty but not like unforgettably delicious. I usually ordered to-go and they are fast: D

I called in an order on my way home from a long day at work. The perky young/cute sounding guy on the other end of the line woke me right up. I had planned to order saag paneer with a side of naan and a side of rice but the fellow helping me thoroughly explained the difference between ordering«a la carte» and getting the«dinner». I chose dinner, he said«good choice», I felt affirmed, then went to pick up. When I got to the restaurant my food was ready, paying was fast, and the young man on the phone was just as friendly in person. The place looks casual but clean. My food was delicious. I did, indeed, make a good choice. The dinner came with hot fresh naan, rice, the soup of the day, and a generous helping of my saag. Everything was very tasty. Good price. Will be coming back again.

Tandoori Oven is a fast way to get your Indian food fix. It isn’t super authentic. I ordered– Traditional chicken curry Garlic naan Keema naan pesto naan And it was delicious!!! Tandoori deserves four stars because the quality and flavor you get by far surpass any fancy burger chain. This place is perfect for those who have never tried Indian and now dare to. They bring your food to your table and they can also walk you through the menu. I really like this place. It was worth it. The decent prices, generous portion, great tasting food, good service, and very speedy… I’m already down to revisit.

This place is not very authentic, I was really craving a good Indian meal and this place just couldn’t deliver. That being said, once I got past my initial disappointment this is good«fast food» Indian. The potions sizes are also smaller then ur typical Indian joint

Good Indian food. Not bad. But not that best. Now, that doesn’t mean that I wouldn’t go back here because a 3 star does warrant another visit. Good enough for us to swing back around if we want Indian Food nearby but not a place I would drive 20 miles for. Overall, great customer service. Food arrived on time.

Sag Paneer? More like paneer in some goopy spinach water. I came here after work late one night craving indian food and looking forward to buying the frozen kind at trader joes. Needless to say my standards weren’t very high, and then i saw this place on the side. I figured why not? let’s give it a try. It has to be better than frozen indian food from trader joe’s. Oh how it sucks to be wrong on such a low level. I ordered sag paneer(which for those of you who don’t know, is basically a spinach curry with cubes of indian cottage cheese in it.) Now typically when I have had this dish at indian restaurants in the past, the texture and consistency is somewhat like a thick cream of spinach. You know, where you can actually see the spinach. Minced and mixed in with a thick curry sauce. This was not the case here. I came home and opened my food only to discover my expectations were replaced with a bland, smooth and watery diarrhea. It looked and tasted like they bought a tub of powdered green superfood from whole foods and stuck it in a blender with some water and curry powder. I’ve had iced tea thicker than this. On the bright side, for 11 bucks they throw in rice, naan, and some shitty dahl with a cucumber salad. Long story short, if you enjoy good authentic indian food where they serve nice thick curries, I would avoid this place like the plague. If you’re new to indian food and would like to have a great experience tasting great indian food, I would avoid this place like the plague. If for some reason beyond me you want to eat watery diarrhea with some meat or cheese cubes, you should consider the nearest toilet bowl before you consider this place. Why? Because at least you don’t have to pay for what’s in the toilet bowl.

Not bad. I tried the vegetarian wrap. It was pretty good, just wished it was a little bigger. I didn’t get a kick of excitement out of the food or the atmosphere(I was the only one in a Sunday afternoon). I would go back though and try the chicken and lamb dishes, but for now, service was good, food was good, place was good.

The cashier was SOOO nice and attending to our needs during this visit. First time I was ever walked up to during the meal and asked how the food was! Even had a small conversation while ordering on the best dishes to have at tandoori. It really is noticeable when you see someone really trying to make the customers’ experience the best possible. Just wanted to make a mental note/future reference for myself and others who love chicken korma: Mild is not spicy enough/at all. LOL.(Keep making the same mistake so I gotta put it down)

First visit for me. We started with samosas, lamb curry, fish curry ala carte, and then added a garlic pesto naan. The samosas were really good. The curries were both good, not great. There was lots of sauce to go with all of our naan. Naan makes or breaks an Indian meal for me. The naan that came with our meals and the garlic pesto naan was good, but I was hoping for off the scale great.

This place is pretty tasty :). They work fast and they are nice. We get the chicken tikka masala and jt is delicious. The only reason it gets a 4 is because there are better places in the city. Other than that it is great! Good food and good prices

This time we tried the veggie Bombay burger which was just a regular bun cheese onion tomato mustard and a bland plain potato patty. Nothing Bombay about it. The mutter paneer and rice in the dinner plate special was good but the dal(described as lentil soup on the menu) was just globs of boiled mashed lentils without any flavor. Not the best meal we’ve ever had at Tandoori Oven :-(

My friend and I shared the lamb curry and the Tandoori chicken tikka. The lamb curry was fabulous. I ordered extra spicy and it came out perfectly. The flavors were well-balanced and spicy kick was on point. The chicken tikka on the other hand was a miss. It came out sizzling on a lovely hot plate, so the presentation looked nice. Though once we actually bit into the chicken, it was dry and parts were hard on outside indicating it may have been sitting out for awhile. Probably won’t order that again. The service was nice. The restaurant was clean with cool hand painted interior wall decorations. A little pricier than was I expected to pay for a serve-yourself style place. I’ll probably be back and try out more of the menu.

Saag, Korma, Masala, and Curry are the main things here. My group ordered the Saag Paneer, Lamb Korma, Veggie Tikka Masala, and Fish Curry. The Saag Paneer was very bland and the heat I’m used to just wasn’t there. As for the other dishes, they seemed too salty and the spices were a bit off. The menu is very limited compared to similar restaurants. I would stick with the Masala and Curry if you visit.
