Teeth,Gums & Beyond – Mylene Gandingco, DMD

I am so happy to have found Teeth, Gums, & Beyond and to be treated so well by Dr. Mylene Gandingco and her staff. The first thing that I noticed is the cleanliness of the office… I mean really clean. Second, all the staff is really friendly. They make me feel welcome. Most importantly, is Dr. Gandingco. Her chair side manner, conversation and explanations put me at ease. She has a light and gentle touch with the dental instruments. Never any discomfort here.
The total experience of coming to Teeth, Gums & Beyond is very positive. Parking is easy and free. The office is really clean, and the staff is so friendly, Dr. Gandingco is the best.

Dr. Mylene’s office is clean, neat and bright. She helped my mom with teeth extractions and denture. The cost for those w/​o dental insurance can be very unaffordable but Dr. Mylene gave me a big discount to ease my financial hardship. I don’t need to worry about asking for leave from my work for the frequent office visits as they could always meet my schedule. She provided different options with pros and cons which made the decisions easier. My mom’s beautiful smile tells everything.

This dentist is great! Setting up my first appointment was fast and easy. I told them that I cannot talk on the phone during the day so they text me an appointment reminder a few days ahead of time.
Unfortunately I had to come back for fillings but it was painless and not scary at all! I noticed the office was clean and neat and I like the small tile of blue sky on the ceiling where you sit in the patient’s chair. It helps you think of it as a relaxing and comfortable place.

Dr. Mylene and her staff are the best. The best office I’ve been too and I’ve gotten my teeth fixed alot. They are really nice and make sure you are comfy when they are trying to fix you up. Everything is done with the most care and my mouth feels great.

Dr. Gandingco and everyone in this clinic are great! I even commute sometimes for like 2 hours just to be treated here. They are able to detect problems quick and provide treatments well and sometimes we could adjust schedules around if needed, too. They also frequently do follow ups and always check on you even after treatment. I highly recommend this place! :)

I am always hesitant to change dentists but I don’t regret this decision. The dentist is very light-​handed, professional, and warm hearted.
Even though I had to make last minute changes to a scheduled appointment, I never heard one complaint although it was truly my short coming.
Great updated equipment and relaxing movies to watch while your being seen.

After starting residency comes a different insurance plan and so it was very difficult to find a great dentist and be able to accommodate a challenging work schedule! Because of this, haven’t seen a dentist in nearly 3 years!
Gladly, i found her on Unilocal and she had an opening right away and several weeks later, two sessions of deep cleaning, one cavity filling, you have a happy camper! She does a thorough initial assessment, cleaning, and plans for future dental health.
Incidentally, her husband works at the same workplace, too. And, she loves garlic :)
I have recommended her to my colleagues!

I visited Dr. Gandingco per the recommendation of my coworker, who spoke highly of her having a soft and gentle touch.
He was right! The examination and cleaning did not hurt, and my teeth felt and looked clean afterward!
She was consistently caring and skilled when I returned two other times for fillings.
The office is new, clean and comfortable. On top of that, they have a TV screen connected to Netflix at each treatment area so you can watch/​listen to your favorite shows!
Beth, who assists Dr. Gandingco, is also very nice. She promptly sets appointments and reminds you via calling or text. Dr. Gandingco even checked and responded to my message on a days she was not going to be in, so she could adequately address my concern. Very professional and personable team!

I found Dr. Mylene Gandingco through my dental insurance’s list of providers about half a year ago when I just had my braces of 7+ years removed. I obviously had a lot of dental work to be done since I only went to clean my teeth TWICE in those past seven years… I was actually a bit scared to go to the dentist for teeth cleaning because of all the cavities I expected to have. Scared or not scared, dental work had to be done and I just hoped it would not hurt much. When I finally had the courage to pick up my phone and make the appointment, I was instantly greeted by Beth!
Upon arrival at Dr. Gandingco’s office, I instantly noticed how clean and professional everything is. The entrance to her dental office stands out too because of the window on her door! (All the other dental offices around have regular doors with no windows.) Once through the door, I was greeted by the receptionist/​front desk who happens to be Beth! I didn’t have to wait long at all to be treated as I have already printed and filled them out from their website. Shortly after I turned in my forms, Dr. Gandingco came out and guided me to my chair. (There’s also a TV in every room so you can watch TV while getting your teeth cleaned!)
During examination and cleaning of my teeth, Dr. Gandingco was very thorough and patient; she told me exactly what was happening and what needed to be done. Beth suddenly comes in and as the dental assistant through the cleaning. I love how they let you borrow glasses to protect your eyes! (I’m going to guess this is so that if any teeth gunk flies out towards your eye, they would be protected! Very thoughtful!) Afterwards, Dr. Gandingco thoroughly explained how good/​bad my teeth were, what needed to be done and how many visits I should take to complete my major dental work in the most cost effective way of utilizing my dental insurance (let’s just say I had extreme plaque and tartar build up from the last 7+ years so I needed four quadrants of deep cleaning as well as cavities filled in all four quadrants of my mouth).
Over the course of 3 months with Dr. Gandingco, my teeth were put back into good shape with the deep cleaning, 3 months check, cavity fillings in between, and prescriptions that also aid in making my teeth stronger and my gums healthier! Through every visit, I was as relaxed as I could be. She even took out an old, ugly silver filling and replaced it with resin! During my most recent visit with her, I was offered a free teeth whitening trial! Pretty white pearls will soon be mine! I am definitely not self-​conscious of smiling/​cheesing hard now: D

Dr. Mylene Gandingco is a fantastic dentist. Having a phobia of dentists made it really difficult for me to find one. However, the first day that I met her, she made me feel at ease. She was very gentle, took her time, and always asked about my level of comfort during procedures. She is very passionate about her job and helping all of her patients achieve the best and healthiest smile possible. The doctor and her assistant are very accommodating and patient. If you’re looking for a new dentist, go to her! You will not regret it. :)

I’m excited that Dr. Gandingco finally has her own practice! I’ve followed her over the years when she was at other offices. She’s very thorough, gives great dental treatments, and my teeth and gums are clean and healthy. I HIGHLY recommend her services, go see her now! Oh and her office is beautiful too!

I’ve been going to Dr. Gandingco for 5 years, and was excited to follow her to the brand new office. She is always so thorough, knowledgeable, caring, and friendly. I’ve been sending my friends and family to her for all their dental care needs. You won’t find a nicer, more experienced, and honest dentist in the Bay Area!
