This place has pretty good beef stew. But they had awesome Banh Cu Cai Chien Trung or Bot Chein Tieu Chau(fried daikon egg flour cake). I think it closed and it’s now«Red Bowl Noodle»

really good so sad it closed but red bowl noodles is the same thing! Soup is really good they put crispy pork skin in it soo good! I like the egg noodles in the soup. We also get pan fried noodles and vegetables, which surprisingly is very healthy tasting. Place has a lot of seats, lots of parking and fast service. cash only!

This place is okay for quick lunch or dinner. I have gotten soup and their taro cake and I liked it. Altho it’s not as clean as I would like it, it’s cheap and satisfying.

How sad! This TK closed and I never even had my final order! I used to come here as often as 3x a week(everyday if I could have!) only for the wonton soup. I was here so often that my friend and I ended up having our own server! I mean this guy was super cool, he’d see us walk in and knew exactly what we wanted. How hard was it to remember anyway? But he always ended up taking care of us. Most of the staff was usually nice, but there was this manager-type lady that treated them like she was the queen or atleast the owner of this branch. She would yell at her staff, and her face always looked pissed behind the register. I’ve never had her transact anything with me, but whattabi0tch. Besides that… I love how open and bright this space was. I also enjoyed the fried rice very much. I’m not much of a tapioca person but they had them here too, and it was one of the only places I bothered to have tapioca. Sad to see this place gone.

The broth was pretty bland in my opinion, but they have the tastiest beef balls I have ever had in any soup, as if it was made by Hillshire Farms. The place serves its food really quick, which probably means that all the soups are prepped and ready to go on the fly, but this may be why the broth seems bland. Good thing they have all the spices I need at our table… just throw in some chili sauce and we are good to go! The regular sized portion is really an ok size, but if you are hungry you are gonna want the large size. The dopest thing about this soup is that they put crushed pork rind flakes in it, I have never had that before, but it is a great idea! Another plus is the choice of noodles that you want to use for your soups. Come in if you wanna fix of different kind of soups, pretty decent place, but nothing that makes me want to come back unless I am in the area and want some soup. I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

I rarely ever come here anymore, but when I do. I always get the same thing. I’m not sure what it’s called but there’s a photo attached to this review. It’s so good! You have to drench your dry noodle into the sauce and it’s soooooo good, omg. I can’t explain the taste. PROS: Cheap, fast, and lots of seating. CONS: Accepts cash only, there is a BofA ATM right outside though and they have one inside as well.

I usually go here when me or my best friend is feeling sick. Their soups are good & the service is quick. The only thing that sucks is that they only accept CASH& I usually don’t have cash on me. Luckily, there’s an ATM inside and outside of the restaurant.

Great place to go if you’re not feeling well and you just want warm, spicy, noodly goodness! Clean and extremely cheap(a small noodle bowl will run you $ 5.50). My favorite is the #3 and the hubs is a huge fan of #2. I love all the sauces you can add to your dish(plum, siracha, spicy/pepper, vinegar, etc…). Again, great place to go for cheap noodles.

TK Noodles certainly is quick with their food. Once your order is in, you can almost certainly bank on it coming out in the next 7 minutes or so. They really are that fast, and it’s almost undeniable. However, whether or not you’ll love your dish is a little less certain. The setup is sorta like a psedo-cafeteria style; you don’t really have a set waiter and you end up having to pay for the food at the counter(which makes me wonder if they have a lot of dine and dashes). The menu has a good mix of items, but it’s definitely weighted towards noodle soups, each with varying types of noodles in it. Unfortunately, I’ve yet to find anything truly outstanding at this point. In general, it feels like the broth is a bit thin and a little weak on flavor. Quick and convenient? Yes. Stomach fIlling and budget friendly? Probably. Exciting for your taste buds? Debatable.

Ahhh, I remember when this TK noodle first opened. Brand new walls, spotless floors, I’d stare at the pictures all over the wall displaying all the TK’s in the Bay Area and Socal. Fast forward to today and basically TK is the McDonald’s for Viet soups. You know the routine. Sit down, order, eat, less than 10 minutes you’re usually out of there. Or, if you don’t have anything to do, you can easily spend a good hour and a half with a group of friends w/o being hassled about leaving because you’re taking up space. This place just doesn’t get crowded. That’s what makes TK so special. It isn’t special. It’s comfortable, you know what you’re going to get, you’re not going to get blown away by your rice stick noodle soup, but then you know it’s not going to be the worst you ever had. This has always been one of my favorites. #7. The beef is always pretty tender, there’s a gigantic piece of tendon. Two types of noodles. The broth is decent. Solid 3.5 stars.

Came here one evening with my sister and her bf as they claimed this was a really good place for chinese food. I hesitantly agreed. I ordered a HK fried noodle dish, they ordered noodle soups and also the fried flour cake. I was super hungry and was ready to dig in! But when the food came, it didn’t really look that appetizing. The gravy had an off color and the noodles didn’t look crispy. But I was hungry, so I had to try to find some enjoyment in eating the dish… and couldn’t. The noodles were completely lacking in taste. It’s like they didn’t even try to make the dish edible. =(I tried the flour cake as well… which I thought had a good crispiness on the outside but lacked in flavor overall. The restaurant was quite chilly as TK Noodle is located in Daly City. The staff works hard to keep things in order… All in all, I wouldn’t come back for any meal. The food is unforgettable… in the sense that I couldn’t forget how unpleasant of a meal I had here.

Good service, super quick, super convenient Vietnamese noodles and noodle soup from a small Chinese-Vietnamese chain. This corner strip mall location is huge, easily seating well over a hundred. We placed our order and got our food in maybe three minutes, tops. Sadly, that’s all the good stuff I have to say. The food is authentic, but lackluster at best. Bland City. The noodles themselves are okay, nothing special. Their signature #1 hu tieu thap cam — pork broth, fat rice noodles, shrimp, pork meatballs and roast pork — is tasteless, and could be hotter. The broth is so thin, it might as well be lukewarm water with half a can of chicken broth. And I’m sure that broth is used for the rest of their noodle soups. Considering all they do is noodles, this is a very bad sign. At least they don’t serve phở — the beef noodle soup that Americans actually believe is ubiquitous Vietnamese food. If you’re dying of starvation, come here. You’ll get a huge serving of passable Chinese-Vietnamese food instantly. Otherwise, please, go somewhere else.

This place was alright. The food was decent. I just didn’t like how we had to go up to the counter to pay for our food. I thought it would be like any other Asian restaurant where the waiter would come and pick up our tab. I like how the portions are huge though. The noodle soup has a lot of gease though. The vermicelli noodle soup was pretty good. Flour cake is reccommended.

Fast food type noodle place. It was my first time there and ordered the #1 Combo to go. Thought it will be like other Vietnamese Phở place, but it has mostly pork instead and love that Deep fried pork rind, agreed with Joe. Z that it just gives out a much richer flavor. It deserves 4 stars… I guess it is because when I walk in with a hungry stomach, I wasn’t looking forward for a Great meal or anything. And it turns out to be better than I anticipated?! Yes I am confusing myself too. The place itself wasn’t too appealing and was more like a cafeteria setting. But hey, I don’t mind since I am just picking up mine to go; as long as they have good and cheap food.

3.5 stars. The noodles were actually good! I don’t know ANY other place that has vermicelli noodle soup, except my house when my mom makes it. It’s my FAVORITE noodle for noodle soup. PLEASE, if ANYBODY out there knows where else there is vermicelli noodle soup, message me! The broth was yummy but I didn’t drink it because it was too greasy, though I did sneak in a few sips. Get the large, ’cause the small is too small. Minus 1.5 for the cafeteria-like atmosphere and dirty men staring.

I’ve been ordering the #1 on the menu for like the last ten years of my life. its like the McD’s of phở joints I suppose. mediocre, fast, cheap and you just keep going back because you do.

After shopping at Kukje, we roamed around Daly City looking for a decently healthy and quick lunch. Not many options in DC apparently, which is why TK Noodle barely won out over L&L Hawaiian BBQ and Taco Bell. I’ve eaten at some pretty sketchy places in my time so I’m not sure why I found this place so offensive. It wasn’t that bad, but I sort of wanted to leave the moment I sat down. Maybe I just wasn’t expecting the slightly grimy McD’s-like atmosphere or the downtrodden teenaged waitress that served us. The wonton noodle soup– flavorless wonton, bland soup, suspect meats. Even with the addition of half a bowl of vinegared green chili peppers(my favorite, I tried not to worry about how long they’d been sitting on the table), it still wasn’t happening. I think we should’ve just eaten at Kukje.

This place is definitely not for the«noodle connoisseur,» but it is what it is– fast and tasty, cheap and easy. I love the combination rice stick won ton soup, and the beef satay noodle soup. The taro cakes with egg rock, as well and the vinegar-y dipping sauce that comes with it. I went to this location this evening with a friend, because it is c-o-l-d outside and noodle soup warms the bones. I think all locations are pretty much the same thing– I have been to San Jose, Palo Alto, Mountain View, and it all tastes the same to me. I like TK Noodle. I think I will always go back here.
