Fairly typical small-town auto parts store. They have most major parts in-stock for major makes and models, and special orders never take more than a day or two(at least in my experience). Staff is friendly, knowledgeable. Easy to walk in and overhear an in-depth conversation about some arcane subject, and get sucked in and lose a good half hour. Only downsides are the disorganized layout, the very dim lighting, and the usual auto-parts-store layer of grime over everything. It’s hard to get anything with ending up with black marks on your fingers. But what do you expect when mechanics fresh out of the garage are shopping alongside you?
