LOVE LOVE LOVE! Happy Tails. always a bit of high anxiety for my dog but Shelley and her team always make Rocky feel right at home. What I love most is that Shelley and her team stay on time. If you drop off at the designated time agreed to, my puppy is back in my arms in 2 hours. Love that as I believe it is respect for both human and pet. No pet wants to wait all day for their master to return. nor should they if it can be avoided. Thanks Team Happy Tails!

I made a mistake and got impatient and took my dog to a dog groomer down the street he shaved my dog to the point he had no hair. I know you have to make an appointment and wait here but it is worth it! Don’t take your dog anywhere e

Yay!!! Was hard to find a groomer who could deal with my balls of fluff… Brought my two Persian cats in to be shaved down and couldn’t be happier… They look and smell amazing… The groomers are friendly and take time to know your pets name… We will continue to get are hair done there…

We love Dana Point Grooming. The staff are friendly and our dogs always look great when they are done — love the cute little bandanas they come home wearing. Prices are reasonable and the location is great, right across from Henessey’s off PCH.

I booked an appointment for my standard Poodle today. The owner told her employee that she would be doing her and reminded her that she did her last time. You could tell she was not happy as standard poodles take a awhile. She proceeded to tell me she was very matted and she might start bleeding if she brushed her out it was up to me if I wanted to leave her… I told her that she has been more matted than that in 11years and she was the first groomer to tell me that… I left there not feeling comfortable as this was my second visit to Dana point groomer… as I sat in the car … I went back in after a few minutes and talked to her about it and still she was very rude. I pictured in my mind my beloved poodle paws bleeding I took my poodle with me and didn’t leave her with them … and will spend my 110.00 elsewhere. The manager was standing there and never intervened as she could see I was upset. They both were very unprofessional and I will never go back!!!

Everyone in Dana Point Groomer always does a great job for the client. I have been coming her for a very long time. Tamara the owner will do anything to make sure the client is pleased and happy with the results. Carol has been doing my dog for years and she is tops.
All the girls are great, so easy and nice and will go out of their way to come in early or stay late
if needed. They care about the work they do and the community. It’s a great place.

Fantastic! Alana always does a great job. She really knows what she’s doing and really cares. I will not go anywhere else.

Kea always looks great no matter what. Carol is great even though Kea is always scared she prances around when she gets home.

LOVE Dana Point Grooming and Pet Spa! Every time I go there, the employees are obviously loving their job and it shows in the grooming :) My dog, Baxter loves going there and I always feel comfortable with leaving him there. He’s always in good hands!

Not happy with the brushing and ear job!
I took my husky here today… He got a bath and brush… I was not happy with the way he was brushed and his ears were still waxy. Alotto hair was coming off and he was shedding badly… I understand huskies shed but if they are brushed well after a bath it will not happen this badly… I did not feel like he was even brushed properly… i brushed him when i got home and alotto hair was coming out and the brush did not go through smoothly. If he was brushed properly there shouldnt have been tangled parts in his coat… My husky owns a very soft and has a good coat in general so i can easily tell if he was brushed well or not cuz the coat is not that thick… If the money i paid was mainly just for a bath and other things were taken for granted then it is definitely not worth to pay that much just to a get a dog wet and shampood with no proper brushing and ear cleaning… i do a better job brushing my pupp at home…
I was happy with the bath however. thats the only thing that was done right except he did not smell good. He did look very clean and his white fur was nicely bathed so the bath was done right. but again the brushing was not professional at all…
Also the shampoo did not smell pleasant… He kind of smelled like egg and i have no idea why maybe its just the scentless shampoo…
His ears wear not cleaned properly… There are still brown stuff in his ear as you see in the picture i posted… I’m cleaning them myself right now…
As far as how they treated my dog, i am not sure because i was not back there but my dog seemed okay afterwards and right now he is in a deep sleep as I’m cleaning his ears… so I’m assuming he was treated friendly and that matters…
I am not sure if i will go back… My first experience was not the best… Thank you.

I am so happy I found this place.
I called last minute and Anna totally went out of her way to squeeze us in. (I think she came in early actually to accommodate us!?! She didn’t say that, but it’s my guess)
This is only our sweet puppy’s third trip to the groomer so I wanted to find someone kind and gentle.
Well, Anna is the epitome of those two words.
So besides being so beautiful when I picked her up, Joli was happy as a clam.
I’m extra pleased by the fact that Anna somehow just «knew» how I wanted her to be trimmed, because I did a very poor job at explaining.
One other thing I just LOVED was the little pink ribbons she put in Joli’s hair that she hand made.
I have always wanted a girl puppy so I could get ribbons in her hair, and today my dream came true!!!
What a great experience.

I am so happy I found this location! After recent communication with the owner, I brought my two frisky kitties in for a lion cut and bath. First — the salon is so cute on the inside, and very pet friendly. Second — the staff was all kind, helpful and accommodating, which I truly appreciate. Third — the owner (Tamara) who groomed my two cats did a fantastic, thorough job. She even took the extra care to ask how I’d like their mane and tails, whether or not I’d like their nails trimmed, and she was patient with my older guy who is grumpy at times. I’ll be a repeat customer for sure. Thank you so much for a great service!

This place is great! Everyone is really sweet and they always exceed my expectations. Flexible for appointments and love that I can schedule like a week out since my work schedule is always changing. Definitely would recommend to anyone!

I love this groomer! They go above and beyond with their service. I had a minor dew claw emergency with one of my dogs. I walked in, showed the woman the problem, (snip), done and gone. Very sweet and no charge.
Dana Point Grooming is my groomer from now on.

Moxie has had experiences where she comes home from a grooming and she is withdrawn/​mopey for a few hours. She came home so happy! Carol did a fantastic job on Moxie — she looks so pretty! Also — Moxie’s a girl, but sometimes she gets confused for a boy and I always thought it was because her former groomer cut her face that way. Not Carol!
I’m so happy to have found DP Grooming and I will most definitely be returning and suggesting them to everyone I meet!

Brought my dog here to get her groomed. My little one was looking like a grey mess so I found this place and thought I’d give it a try. The place was really cute! Loved the vibe! the dogs there did seem really happy! def different then when i bring my girl to petco or the vet. The groomer who helped me with my puppy, Chelsea, was super helpful and you could tell she really cared about dogs! I always make a special point to make sure the groomer knows that my little one has had her ear cut before by a groomer and she listened to all my concerns that her ears are super sensitive and that my puppy might be a little fussy with her ears! My little one looked amazing! she was clean and fluffy again AND the groomer was able to make my puppy match my pink hair! Def will be going back soon!

I always bring my dog here! And sometimes my aunt’s dog also. I love that Carol can take my dog in within a week no matter what time or day I call.
The front reception area is always clean and there are always plenty of dogs to craze over while you are in there.
I have a small dog who easily gets scared of other animals or people and she never leaves there scared or timid. She always looks great after a fresh wash and cut. Carlos will also accommodate any specifics you do or don’t want.
Definitely recommend this place for your pup or cat!

I have been going to Dana point grooming for the last six years. Always take great care of my kitty! She has very long hair and it gets very matted and starts to shed like crazy in the summertime, not to mention the hairballs. They always do a very nice job on her I would highly recommend Dana point grooming.
