Gorilla Grass

We used Gorilla Grass on our front yard and the results were so amazing, that we had them install their plush thick grass in the backyard. Denis stands behind his product and was always available for additional information if needed before and after the installation. They were very professional and completed the project on time. We requested a lot of detail cuts around our stepping stones as well as added contour around our trees and the work was beyond our highest expectations. We have already recommended them to our neighbors.

I hate to have to write this bad review, but I’ve been given no other choice. I met with at least 6 synthetic grass companies and Denis from Gorilla grass was okay. I called him and he said he would come to my home on a Friday and never called or came. I wanted to give him another chance so I met with him on Monday when he called finally. His price was good and he had a wealth of information, for Mirage Grass, but not Gorilla grass, just ads from magazines. I looked on his website for Gorilla grass, read his ads and took his WORD that he was a legit company. In fact HE IS NOT! He told me his product was lead free and ½ made in USA and ½ made in China. I took his word for it and we had the job done on that Thursday after we met and signed a contract and gave him almost half of the total payment. Anyway long story short, we asked for simple proof of the the Gorilla Grass being lead free and where it was made. He REFUSES to give us these certifications, won’t respond to our calls (which haven’t been many) and even had his lawyer contact us saying we can’t contact him anymore! WOW! Horrible customer service!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! In the state of California the synthetic MUST BE 100% lead free! Also, it doesn’t help he outwardly lied and now is cowardly hiding. Bad business and we will go to great lengths to make this known!

Years and $$$ spent reseeding, retreating, and re-​sodding are finally over. I never thought the fake stuff came close to a realistic looking lawn until Denis showed us his product.
We looked at other products out there and nothing was as thick and plush. Still, I had to do my research… after all, I had to be sure this would not only look good, but would really last and not start looking like an old piece of carpet in a few years!
So I called several references Denis provided. Three people I spoke with had their lawn installed by Denis 8 – 10 years ago and all couldn’t be happier with how well it’s held up… plus they all felt it would last years more.
Everyone was eager to brag about the experience and how Denis stands behind his product and installation… so I was sold. Within a week of our first meeting, our new plush green lawn (about 400 sq ft) was installed! His guys even took the time to properly protect the surrounding area (like our new pond) while they worked. Our backyard looks amazing now!!!
We have had a small bump… weeks later, I noticed a small area that always seems wet. Though they had capped off the old sprinkler heads, we think one may have come loose. Denis responded right away and promises to repair it ASAP. It’s comforting to know that he really cares about his customers… even after the job was paid for and completed! We feel confident this small issue will be corrected very soon.
